**What do you like best about Todoist?**

What I like best about Todoist is how simple and organized it makes task management. I can quickly create tasks, set due dates and priorities, and organize everything into different projects. I especially like the clean interface because it makes it easy to see what needs to be done without feeling overwhelmed. Recurring tasks are also very useful for activities that I need to complete regularly. The ability to access my tasks across different devices helps me stay organized throughout the day. Overall, Todoist gives me a clear view of my responsibilities and makes it easier to prioritize my work and keep track of important deadlines. Todoist works well with the other tools I use and fits smoothly into my daily workflow. Its integrations with calendar, communication, and productivity tools make it easier to keep tasks and deadlines organized without constantly switching between applications. I especially find calendar integration useful because it helps me see scheduled tasks alongside other commitments. Overall, the integrations are straightforward and make Todoist more convenient for managing my work across different tools.

**What do you dislike about Todoist?**

What I dislike about Todoist is that some useful productivity features are limited to the paid plans. The free version works well for basic task management, but certain advanced options can require an upgrade. I also find that managing a large number of projects and tasks can sometimes become a little overwhelming if everything is not organized carefully. More customization options in the free version would make the experience even better. Overall, these are relatively minor issues, and the app remains simple and effective for managing everyday tasks.

Todoist solves the problem of keeping track of multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in one organized place. Todoist excels as a rapid-capture, no-friction operational engine that functions as a digital inbox and execution tracker across work and personal life. I appreciate its Natural Language Recognition (NLR) which transforms task capture from a multi-tap form into a quick, fluid sentence. The Zero-Friction Entry is exceptional, allowing tasks like 'Review monthly budget every 1st at 9am #Finance p1' to immediately schedule a recurring event, categorize it into a project, and set top priority without clicking any menus. The Smart Parsing is brilliant, understanding relative dates, inline tags, and project assignments natively. Ubiquitous Accessibility is a huge plus, letting me capture thoughts in seconds via desktop shortcuts, mobile widgets, or watch complications, thus eliminating cognitive load. I also love the Custom Filters, as they allow me to build precise daily views, focusing strictly on high-priority work items, keeping the interface clean and preventing overwhelm. Additionally, the initial setup of Todoist was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Todoist?**

While Todoist is exceptional for quick capture, its main limitations center around strict feature paywalls, feature clutter, and strict visual boundaries. ​Key Drawbacks of Todoist ​Basic Features Behind Paywalls: Critical tools for basic task management—specifically location-based or time-based reminders, extended activity history, and duration tracking—are locked behind the paid Pro tier. For basic users, a task app that cannot ping a reminder without a paid subscription is a major friction point.

**What do you like best about Todoist?**

I use Todoist to manage my day-to-day tasks. It really helped me manage different projects and teams by aligning work in a non-cluttered way. I find the UI very easy and simple to use, which is why it was simple for me to start using it right away. I also like how seamlessly it integrates with Claude, which was a significant feature for me. The initial setup of Todoist was very easy, taking me about five to ten minutes. I also liked the pro version subscription, as it offered advanced features that I could customize.

**What do you dislike about Todoist?**

Their MCP connection often breaks, and you have to reconnect it every day. I think they have fixed it recently, but this was the major problem I was facing. The mobile UI feels complicated to me, and I prefer the web UI. I also faced some confusion with labels and how projects were interlinked with one another, which could be simplified.

**What problems is Todoist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Todoist helps me manage multiple projects and teams with an easy, uncluttered UI. It aligns my work effectively, enhancing my productivity.

Essential Features Locked Behind the Paywall: Basic, quality-of-life functionality—most notably reminders, custom filters, and full task activity logs—requires a paid subscription. Relying on an app for task management without built-in reminders on the free tier is a major friction point.

**What do you like best about Todoist?**

As an IT Project Manager in the Technology field I personally use Todoist as my own project management tool to manage some projects. Todoist provides an agile environment where I can plan technical work and development tasks (aligned to the approved schedule) and assign them activities, monitor progress through one central view, and create recurring reminder notifications for maintenance reviews and change committee documentation.

**What do you dislike about Todoist?**

I would like to see improvements in visual flexibility, in the form of a more compact view which allows to display more tasks on a single screen at one time, and to have more customization options for colors and project templates (style).

**What problems is Todoist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Todoist gives me a way of structuring and being consistent with my ongoing operational follow-up. Since all the repetitive tasks are listed in one location with specific date, priority and owner, so I am able to anticipate what will happen next. As a result we've seen a reduction in individual reminders for these types of requests, and an increase in the percentage of repeat tasks that are completed as evidenced by internal metrics.

Todoist is hands down the best task management tool I have ever used. The interface is incredibly clean, minimalist, and distraction-free, which helps me focus on getting things done. I absolutely love the natural language input feature; typing 'meeting every Monday at 10am' automatically schedules the task perfectly. The ability to create projects, sub-tasks, and set priority levels makes organizing my daily workflow seamless. It syncs perfectly across all my devices, so I never miss a deadline and always stay on top of my responsibilities."

"I find that some of the more advanced features, like project templates or automated reminders, are locked behind the premium subscription. While the free version is quite powerful, those premium tools would be very beneficial for power users. When I complete a task in a project, I’d like the next logical task to be marked as active automatically. Todoist doesn’t make this possible currently.

**What do you like best about Todoist?**

Todoist makes it super easy for me to keep track of all the things I need to do.  It works flawlessly between all of my iOS devices and works well with my colleagues who use Windows/Android.  It was very simple to implement - getting started took seconds.   I use it on a daily basis for several years now.   I've tried several other platforms for tracking tasks and none have compared to Todoist.

I honestly cannot think of anything I dislike about Todoist.

Todoist helps me to create and monitor tasks and projects that I need to accomplish in a way that syncs seamlessly across multiple devices.  I can share a to-do list with my team to monitor project completion for shared tasks easily.

**What do you like best about Todoist?**

I like that Todoist is so easy to use with just the right amount of features, all of which are useful. It's really handy for having the necessary complexity to schedule tasks and recurring tasks easily without being overwhelmed by too much functionality. Its simplicity in layout and intuitive general UX make it very user-friendly, along with the helpful reporting filters and labels. I switched to Todoist because it's much easier and more intuitive, especially for scheduling recurring tasks.

**What do you dislike about Todoist?**

Nothing really - their team are very thoughtful about the features they add - I like that it isn't too feature rich but does Tasks very well.

I use Todoist for managing project work, scheduling tasks, and recording tasks for events, content planning, marketing operations and other tasks.

**What do you like best about Todoist?**

Best-in-Class Natural Language Input: You can type a messy sentence like "Review the budget every second Friday at 10am #Work p1" and the app instantly parses the date, time, project, and priority. This removes the friction of clicking through menus just to get a thought out of your head.

**What do you dislike about Todoist?**

It could do slightly better when it comes to integration. Although it integrates with some tools out there, it could go a long way if it increases its integration landscape with other third-party tools.

**What problems is Todoist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed of entry: the amount of time it takes to actually create a task is minimal, and it respects natural language and interprets this in terms of being able to automatically schedule and categorise my tasks. No other product even comes close.

Todoist very quickly became a must-have for my productivity, and that’s even more true today. The dictation module is a real game changer and makes it even easier for me to stay on top of my tasks.

Honestly, I can’t think of anything negative to say about Todoist.

Being able to quickly jot down things I’m thinking about while I’m on the way is what helps me the most.

I like how easy it is to add to-dos and use priority tags (like p1/4) or date tags in Todoist. The ramble function is invaluable and actually accurate. The priority tags and days make it easier to schedule my days and prioritize tasks. Setting up Todoist was super easy, and I enjoy how it syncs with Google Calendar to keep everything updated.

I would like more ramble credit for free if possible.

**What do you like best about Todoist?**

Todoist is a fantastic todo app and probably the most feature rich on the market at this point with the exception of tick tick which doesn't work as intuitively. The natural language entry is incredibly useful and how I enter tasks most of the time. Setup is a breeze and it integrates incredibly well with email applications and MS Teams. I use this app daily and couldn't manage my workflow without it at this point. The one time I have had to reach out to support, they were quick and thorough in their response.

I wish there was better support for continuous tasks and the outlook add in needs to add support for sections and assignments. It kind of dangles between task and project management and needs to solidify the identity.

Todoist lets you organize your daily tasks. This is massively beneficial as it falls under the quote from David Allen of GTD "your brain is meant for processing information, not storing it". Todoist effectively gets things out of your head and gives you the tools to organize those tasks to quickly and effectively execute and follow up. The most cool thing about Todoist is the flexibility. You can build a system based on how you work, not based on how the app works.

It is a simple and quick task software. It is very simple to add tasks. The learning curve is also very easy compared to other task softwares. I use it every day, I can put something in it and have it remind me or show up in my task list days later.

Everything about Todoist set it apart from other platforms of its kind but especially its affordability yet it gets work done in an incredible way. The total cost of acquiring, implementing and managing Todoist is fairly priced plus the simplified design and well put together UI which makes my personal and team use so easy. The dashboard is perfectly laid out and highly customizable allowing us to design it to our appeal. Todoist has proven to be an invaluable tool with so many benefits for me and the team. It enables us to effectively manage our tasks. Its robustness offers us a centralized space for tracking and management of tasks. Collaboration and task delegation has become an easy pie and working on group projects has been rendered successful through sharing and attaching of task files and documents. Syncing it with Google Calendar is a plus to the team because all the task views have due dates and we often share our personal calendars for easy tracking of progress of delegated subtasks. Flawless scheduling helps us to prioritize tasks based on due dates. Todoist runs on our laptops and phones allowing us to add new tasks, edit existing ones and track our to-dos seamlessly.

**What do you like best about Todoist?**

Todoist is simple to install and takes a user-centric approach.
It is ideal for producing well-detailed, personalized job lists (helpful for organizing various phases of major events).
We can easily distribute tasks to team members, particularly when numerous persons with varying skill sets are involved in a project.
With only a few clicks, we can easily change the due dates for a big number of assignments.

**What do you dislike about Todoist?**

We enjoy using the text creation feature, but there are instances when it misunderstands instructions or fails to detect specific commands.

**What problems is Todoist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Todoist is ideal for effectively allocating, managing, and updating tasks. We've been able to better coordinate our work in big teams thanks to it. Without a question, using Todoist has made it much easier for us to organize, carry out, and complete our projects (even the most difficult ones).

It's really easy to use and I can create projects to organize the tasks better. Besides, I love to see the deadlines for each task, so I can manage my week with them.

I don't see anything that I dislike about it now.

I put all my tasks in the same place, so I can see everything I have to do, considering all my life's areas. Also, when I remember os anything to be done, I can easily write it down on Todoist, so my mind isn't so full anymore.

It's my favorite for its better UI and good user experience. Unlike other todo apps, it provides me more benefits and control over my tasks. It's very easy to use.

It's a fantastic tool and works as a productivity booster for me. So, I have nothing to complain about it.

Flexible when managing deadlines, even those with precise hours. Easy to share task lists, make comments and update their status in real time. Simple access to a thorough history of our previous activities, making it possible to review our team's performance.

The generated summaries' quality varies; therefore, we have to manually check and revise them again to make sure text accuracy.

**What do you like best about Todoist?**

The prioritization function is great since it lets me rank jobs according to significance and makes sure the team works on the most important things. Furthermore, the interface's ability to set deadlines and generate reminders enhances our capacity to fulfill deadlines efficiently. Also, the ability to use customizable keyboard shortcuts has significantly streamlined our workflow, allowing us to quickly navigate between projects and tasks.

**What do you dislike about Todoist?**

It would be nice to have additional customization choices for the study of productivity statistics and report display.

**What problems is Todoist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting due dates, priorities, and customized labels is made simple using Todoist, which helps my team's workflow function smoothly. Furthermore, the feedback option has enhanced our ability to work together, however I think we can still do better in this regard. In addition, the feedback feature has improved our collaboration.

I can easily create and assign tasks and to-do lists to my team with Todoist effortlessly. Again, I can easily organize and manage my daily tasks and projects with Todoist. I can easily have a real-time view of my work status with Todoist. I can easily keep track of my tasks and projects progress with Todoist.

I haven't encountered any barriers when working with Todoist as it simplifies my routine tasks and projects.

**What do you like best about Todoist?**

Extremely easy to use for all levels of technological understanding. I use Todoist several times a day and we have integrated this across our whole team. We've experienced far less chance of tasks being lost or forgotten and people stay accountable because of the notifications received upon completion. Our communication within the team has improved significantly and everyone seems to be managing their time better.

**What do you dislike about Todoist?**

The app is a bit more fidgety to use when assigning tasks to someone with a set date. Also, it would be great if you could see when a task was assigned and an easier way to see who assigned it (rather than having to look at leaving a comment to determine this).

**What problems is Todoist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team is more accountable at completing tasks and they are not forgotten. Previously we would write things down on post-it notes or notebooks but things were easily lost or forgotten and the priority was easily misinterpreted. Productivity and communication has definitely improved.

I would love to see some enhanced offline functionality, because right now without a connection I can't see any of my tasks. The ability to integrate more third-party apps and services would be great, improved subtask handling to include dynamic dependent dates, and potentially a more robust calendar view.<br><br>If I had to choose one thing to add to the roadmap for this app though, it would definitely be the option to add attachments directly to tasks.

So many task management apps are feature-rich but are ultimately too bulky to use quickly and constantly. Todoist absolutely nails it with a robust feature-set but a lightweight and quick interface.

The ability to drop and drag tasks in a calendar is simply amazing. Breathtaking with user can create a list and custom tags which are great features and add a lot of convenience. Todoist is a small excellent task management tool.

Todoist is a calendar/task/daily planner you have been looking for. Todoist is beautiful and of course easy and intuitive to use. Todoist is effortless and simple task management. It has a user-friendly interface which makes it easy for users to manage and create their tasks.
