"Amazing Case Review and Body Cam Transcripts in One Place"

What do you like best about Rev?

The case review and body camera transcription features have been especially valuable in my practice. Reviewing discovery and watching footage can take a significant amount of time, and having a transcript makes it easier to locate specific statements and revisit key portions of an encounter. Having these tools in one place helps me work through case materials more efficiently and gives me more time to prepare for hearings, develop case strategy, and communicate with clients.

An unexpected benefit has been how useful the transcripts are when I need to return to something later. Being able to find a particular exchange without rewatching the entire recording makes follow-up review much more manageable. What do you dislike about Rev?

The chat feature is the main area where I’d like to see improvement. It can take longer than expected to process a request and return the information I need, which slows down my workflow, especially when I’m reviewing a case or trying to finish something between hearings. Faster responses and a smoother back-and-forth would help me complete tasks with fewer delays. A clear progress indicator would also be helpful so I know whether a request is still processing. What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using the product, I spent a significant amount of time reviewing case materials and body camera footage, which limited how much I could get done each day. Now, having support with case review and transcription helps me work through those materials more efficiently, giving me more time to handle other matters, prepare for hearings, and focus on my clients. "Fast, Accurate Transcription at a Great Value"

What do you like best about Rev?

I use Rev for AI transcription and reviewing transcripts for key times. The transcripts are fast and accurate, often ready within minutes, and Rev is available 24/7. I like being able to search transcripts, ask questions with the AI tools, and find key points. Transcription can run in the background while I do other work, and Rev gets through even large files quickly. I find the templates and file organization helpful, and I can download transcripts as Word or PDF files. Rev gives me generous minutes each month, is competitively priced compared with similar tools, and is fully featured. The system is user-friendly and easy to figure out after handling a case or two, and setup was exceptionally easy—I could start uploading files after signing up. I can also feed transcripts into my practice management tool and other AI-assisted tools. What do you like best about Rev?

The transcription of video and audio recordings is a great feature that saves a tremendous amount of time. But the AI features allowing for review of multiple files is perhaps the best feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rev?

I’ve found the program to be very helpful so far, with only a few drawbacks. One improvement I’d really like is for the program to handle multiple recordings of a single event more effectively, so it’s easier to manage them together and, ideally, coordinate timestamps across cameras. What do you like best about Rev?

It helps me convert recorded audio into organized text without spending time typing everything manually. I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content for social media. I also prepare educational material and sometimes explain health topics through recorded audio and teaching sessions. Rev makes it much easier to review these recordings and work with the information in a written format. Getting started was simple, and uploading audio files and generating transcripts was straightforward. When working with health education recordings and spoken content, Rev helps generate transcripts quickly. This makes it easier to review important points and organize information without listening to the recording multiple times.

I found features like transcript generation, timestamps, AI summaries, transcript editing, and transcript search very useful. These features help me review longer recordings faster and keep information organized. The AI summary feature is especially helpful because it quickly highlights the main points from the recording. I also use the transcripts when preparing health awareness content, educational notes, and teaching material. Having everything available in text format makes content preparation easier and more structured. Performance has been smooth during my use, and transcript generation is usually completed in a reasonable amount of time. I do not use Rev every day, but I use it whenever I need transcripts from recorded content. The transcript quality is generally good, but when audio contains background noise or unclear speech, a few manual corrections may still be needed. This does not happen often, but it can add a little extra review time for longer recordings. Also, The AI summary feature is useful, but sometimes I still need to read parts of the transcript to make sure no important detail is missed. "Overall accurate, fast english transcription-Folder Interface/Layout Feels Cumbersome"

What do you like best about Rev?

Recorded calls and videos in English are transcribed overall very accurately, reliably and fast , saving effort and time, however you need to have good and clear recordings to reach maximum effect. i dont find the interface very good to interact with, how its organised and how to move recordings in folders, it seems cumbersome for me. if the interface changes in a way that makes categories smoother for groups and name changes that would be awesome. this causes delay as current interface and i cannot engage as well as i want. i use call recordings to document events. transcribing in english is the main one. i have tried it in greek and its not as good, hopefully this will improve. i take a few notes of the call, and then i do transcript which is usually very accurate, saving me time and helping me document facts in writing quickly. i had hours and hours of material that i used to listen and try to transcribe the main points and now i can do this a lot quicker and more accurately Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rev?

I like how quick Rev is. It's pretty low maintenance, and everything kind of gets stored in this one big library, which makes it easy for me to find transcripts I've made without needing to save them with my own files. What do you dislike about Rev?

I think some of the new AI functionality is interesting. I haven't dug in too much, but yeah, I would be keen to know if maybe they could make, social post suggestions from a video, that kind of thing. Oh, and also sometimes identifying an individual who's speaking could be stronger. Like, the on screen text, the lower thirds will say a speaker's name, but the transcript doesn't pick that up. I appreciate that Rev is fast and reliable. I like being able to edit the transcript right in the Rev interface and change the speaker names throughout for easier quoting. I also like the AI summary tab, because it helps nail down a story angle and points me toward the most quotable interview areas.
