"Box Makes File Sharing and Collaboration Simple and Efficient"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Box?

So this one makes managing and sharing files in my day-to-day work easy. I can keep my documents organized in one place and quickly share them with teammates without having to send multiple email attachments back and forth. I also find the access controls and file version history helpful because they make it easier to manage documents and keep track of changes. Overall, Box makes document collaboration simpler and helps me stay organized and work more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Box?

One thing I find frustrating about Box is that managing a large number of files and folders can become time-consuming. Sometimes, finding a specific document requires navigating through several folders, and I would like the search and filtering options to make this process quicker. The interface can also feel a little cluttered when working with multiple files at once. Additionally, syncing larger files can occasionally take longer than expected. Improving file navigation and sync performance would make Box more convenient for everyday use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Branding and File Control, but Too Many Upsell Emails"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Box?

I like that it can be branded and that it has a desktop version to easily move files between the cloud and local servers. I very rarely run into any sharing or permissions issues like I do with Google Drive, and I'm more easily able to control my team and their owned content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Box?

I dislike the constant sales emails from so-called account managers who are only interested in upselling me an Enterprise account or selling more seats, when I'm perfectly capable of adding seats as I need them. I'm not going to add seats just to keep them empty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Box is great"
5/5
What do you like best about Box?

Box is really great for sharing our business items with the whole team, to any location. In our industry, things are currently in the process of being moved to online storage from paper files. Box has made it really easy to store, transfer, and track online processing of applications and data we need to use from multiple locations. In the past, when we used only paper files, if someone was in our second office, we would need to have something faxed to us, and the quality would be really low. Box has allowed us to store things and get access to them from any location, which has been really great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Box?

It sometimes takes a long time to load the website or i get notifications that certain folders cannot be opened in my notification center in windows even though i can access the folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Still the one cloud sync solution I turn to"
5/5
What do you like best about Box?

I've been a BOX user since they came out with a BlackBerry promo. What's not to love? It does not steal my data, does not sell my info to thrid parties and provides me with secure servers to backup my critical (and useless) data. Plenty of space on the free plan for you to make sure your Documents and Pictures folders are fully backed up (unless you're a hoarder, of course). Desktop sync is easy to set up and quite reliable. There are apps for all the major platforms (R.I.P. Palm, BB and BB10 but they where there when those were not EOL'd). The paid plans are affordable and do offer quality of life features the free plan could use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Box?

BOX has a tendency of one sidely terminating support for software they deem outdated and pushing their vision of what a better sync solution is. I think offering different alternatives for different use cases is best. Does not stop me staying and having BOX as my main cloud sync platform. I still think an update on the pricing is in order. The $/TB is still locked to 2014. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the Best Cloud Repositories, but Pricing Needs to Be More Competitive"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Box?

Honestly, it’s one of the best cloud repositories. I’ve been using it for many years, and it’s quite popular. It’s also available on many operating systems and in all the app stores. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Box?

Pricing should be more competitive. With so much competition out there, you need to focus on retaining customers. Paying per use for so many apps is becoming really heavy to bear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Sync, Easy Access, and Powerful Search in Box"
4/5
What do you like best about Box?

I find Box to have easy to access and fast to synchronize the app on the computer. With the search engine, I can easily find all my documents and share them. I'm not the one paying for it, it's the company I work for, so Box improved the file sharing and updating between us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Box?

Using Box on the website may be a little slow to update and anyone can easily edit folders and documents. It's not something that happens often but it's annoying when it does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Easy-to-Navigate File Storage with Fast Uploads"
4/5
What do you like best about Box?

Keeps all the files in one spot and can give permission settings and also provides easy access to documents without having it stored locally. The UI/UX is easy to navigate and the files upload quickly which makes it reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Box?

Box can be quite pricy depending on how big of a file you have. If you have videos and large files, it can quickly add up as it charges per user. When competing with Google Drive which is already native to the Google ecosystem, it becomes hard to justify the cost to pay for something that only stores files. "Intuitive, High-Performance UI That Handles Large Files Smoothly"
4/5
What do you like best about Box?

It has a fairly intuitive and performant user interface when compared to other competitors like Google Drive and Dropbox. These often stutter with large files and documents, but I haven't had as many issues with Box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Box?

It can occasionally hitch when viewing high resolution PDFs, which can be an issue in the design and engineering fields where I do most of my work professionally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Well-Managed Document Storage with Smooth Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Box?

Box provides strong security and detailed management controls which are extremely improtant to me and especially helpful when I need to keep contracts and other documenta prototced and tge sharing features are a big advatnage when I’m working with regilated, confidential data. The product has continued to improve with updates and adjustments that makes with Microsoft 365 and Google workspace is smooth and straightfoward and its a solid option for business documenta storage helping me keep everything orgainzed secure and properly stored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Box?

The pricing could be lower, and uploads feel slow at times. Apart from that from, I don’t really have anything negative to say. A few actions take extra steps to complete, and it also takes a bit of time to get familiar with everything and find your way around Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
