Have several devices (iPhone, desk phone, computer & tablet) it is nice to be able to seamlessly switch a call between them.

**What do you dislike about 8x8 Work?**

I don not like that while I can use my account on many devices I can only attach one desk phone.

**What problems is 8x8 Work solving and how is that benefiting you?**

by using TCP packets and G7.11 for their service, they have eliminated many VoIP call quality issues.

**What do you like best about 8x8 Work?**

The software product design and implementation is VERY non-IT end-user friendly, intuitive and easy to grasp. Often overlooked and I will say it here for any potential new customers: Support is Great! The Chat Bot is programmed well enough that it doesnt become a frustrating experience, and the transition to Human chat agents is perfect. The human agents are also good at what they do and are thorough in their  support and guidance for issues faced. If you ever run into an aspect of the advanced features and settings their knowledge center is definitely full of helpful step by step instructions to help you quickly resolve an issue.

**What do you dislike about 8x8 Work?**

So far nothing rises to the level of dislike here. All software platforms are a learning curve just like some folks prefer apple approaches to GUI design and customer products and others prefer Microsoft approaches.

**What problems is 8x8 Work solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had disparate systems from multiple vendors and it felt clunky, incomplete, and was a daily frustration. UCaaS approaches in 8x8 resolved that.

**What do you like best about 8x8 Work?**

The 8x8 system is very polished. Their implementation process was very organized, and we were onboarded within a number of weeks. The customer support is excellent, with a responsive helpdesk, and capable technicians. The platform is pretty simple to use. Training for our staff was achieved in less than an hour. The system has a lot of integrations as well, including MS Teams, allowing us to use a single application for communication and chat.

There are no issues to report from our perspective.

We need a reliable cloud PBX to facilitate calling on the PSTN.

We've been using the 8x8 VoIP phone system for several months, and it has exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we implemented it, the platform has been incredibly reliable, with crystal-clear call quality and minimal downtime. The update process to the 8x8 Work Desktop app requires admin access to the PC so periodically our team members have to have IT remote in and authorize the update.

8x8 allowed us to seamlessly deploy a virtual phone systems, folks calling us don't know everybody works from home, they just know they got a professional communication tool and can reach us.  The integrated SMS features are great also.

8x8 does a great job of letting users create contact lists for easy accessibility, messaging, calling & faxing.

**What do you dislike about 8x8 Work?**

My only complaint is that when I send a fax, I can't hear if there's a dial tone or a busy signal on the receiving end.

it eliminated us having to rely on cable internet providers. Those providers had a lot of down time.  8x8 has been much more reliable.

Recorded calls are searched numerically.  Searching by name would be an added benefit.

The best feature is call recording. It is great to be able to refer back to a conversation long after it has become hazy

The ability to login remotely, less time spent wasted on moving hardware.

The interface, takes a while to maneuver around and figure out where everything is. An online guide would be handy.

It operates as most call software packages, I am sure it has some additional features that I am not aware of or have not yet used. A user guide available on the application would be handy.

Voice quality is great and no virtual downtime.
Support is attentive, efficient and competent.

Slightly higher licensing costs as compared to other providers.

It handles calls and routes them appropriately.
It allows us to change from round robin to ring group via a automated schedule that gives us a set-it and forget-it ability. This is important being a 24X7 department.

Can switch from call to a meeting with the touch of a button

cannot create a chat room or conduct a video meeting with someone who does not have an 8x8 account

Admin being able to change an 8x8 account user picture so that when someone has left but we still have their account forwarding, we can change the picture to indicate the person is no longer with the company.

I like how user friendly the platform is. Other platforms can be difficult to navigate, and excute basic phone functions. The 8X8 platform is clean, sleak, easy understand, easy to navigate, and really feel in control of your phone system.

So far, nothing. We had a couple of expected hiccups when porting, but that was mainly because of the holiday delay. The 8X8 team has worked with us every step of the way whether it be research, planning, pricing, and all of the above. I can't bash 8X8 just yet. Ask me in six months. lol

I really like the 8x8 app - being able to move through my office and still take phone calls and text message from vendors and clients. Miss a LOT less communication with this app. And my personal cell number is still private.

Works well on Android or iPhone.

Seems like the app is being updated every few days. Very annoying to get message on the desktop app to download and install a new version several times a week (or so it seems).

Carriers are now requiring fees for off-local-network texts so texting works for interoffice but additional fees are required to text clients, vendors, etc. and we have grown dependent on this feature.

Keeping me in contact with vendors, clients and colleagues without missing calls or my personal cell number being given out.

**What do you like best about 8x8 Work?**

8x8 enabled us to effectively unify our phone systems across multiple sites. Being able to dial an extension on my phone and ring someone 15 miles away at another site is great. Managing users, phones, ring groups, and auto attendants is really quite a breeze. 

The abilities that 8x8 work gives me and my users allows us to stay more connected and more efficient. We can now take and place calls to and from our deskphone nubmers right from our cell phones. It's especially nice you can set working hours to ignore calls outside of a certain time frame to keep the work-life balance. Using the the desktop 8x8 work app has allowed us to cutdown on paper as well by leveraging their e-fax service.

8x8 Work has been great to streamline and unify the implementation, management and use of our communication systems within my organization.

**What do you dislike about 8x8 Work?**

While I seldom need their support after reviewing their documentation and using the bot on their site, their live support isn't available when I first get into the office. Being on the East Coast, I have to wait until 10AM to reach a live agent.

**What problems is 8x8 Work solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem 8x8 solved for us is unification. We had several branches that either had numbers from telecoms or another VoIP provider that had been slapped together over the years. After introducing 8x8 at our main branch, porting numbers from other providers and adding them to our tenant was a breeze to do and enabled us to all communicate more efficiently.

We love how chat, SMS text, calls and meetings are all in one place. And there's a mini switchboard on the desktop and mobile apps to see who's on a call and who's not, which is helpful when transferring calls.

The mobile app notifications and the desktop notifications don't link up in real time like Google Chat does.

For our business, it allows us to connect like never before by tranferring calls out of the office to field techs, sending SMS chats from work numbers not personal cell phones and has a great failover bulit in the mobile app where you can run your entire business off of cellular in the event of a power/internet outage. For our customers, it's all of this and addtional features like *88 to transfer calls back and forth from mobile to deskphone, visual voicemail with email notifications and eFax.

I can always get someone on the phone and any issues get addressed pretty quickly.  My favorite feature is that I can text customers from my phone number.  I was able to intregrate a phone number that I liked with cvurrent business.

Desktop and phone apps work pretty well. Easy to make make and receive calls and hear voicemails. We use this product every day to run our business efficiently.

Iphone phone app sometimes signs out unexpectedly and calls by be missed because of it. On the Admin side, ring groups and auto attendants can be a pain to configure and troubleshot. This results in having to contact their customer support for cofiguration assistance.

8x8 allows us to run our business by taking client calls and routing them properly, as well as being able to dial out to any contractors we might need to reach. We're able to set weekend and holiday hours as well.
