I liked it when I was employee for sharing challenges at work with my leader. Now as a team leader, it's a great way for me to check in on how my employees are doing. High Fives are fun too.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Some weeks, I really don't want to fill it out. My org has lots of required questions, so 15Five can feel like more work.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me hear what my employees are going through, so I can step in and support them, pray for them, etc.

What I like about 15Five is that it turns simple check-ins into meaningful conversations. It helps managers understand how their team members are doing, track their progress, and provide feedback that strengthens connection and support within the team.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

From what I’ve seen in user discussions, one area where 15Five could improve is making the experience a bit more flexible and streamlined. Some users mention that weekly check-ins can start to feel repetitive over time, so adding smarter reminders, AI summaries, or allowing more flexible check-in formats could make it feel less routine. Improving the interface and navigation would also help users move more easily between goals, feedback, and check-ins. Additionally, offering deeper analytics, more customization for surveys and feedback, and stronger integrations with tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams could make the platform even more efficient and valuable for teams.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15Five helps solve the problem of poor communication and lack of regular feedback. It keeps my manager in the loop, helps track goals consistently, and makes it easier to raise concerns early, which improves my performance and growth.

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Easy to use and easy to navigate. They’re always improving the system and making it better. Customer and technical support are consistently responsive, and issues are usually resolved within a few days.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Very few things overall. I just wish their Performance Review module were more robust and customizable so it could better meet our needs.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can understand how each employee is feeling through a weekly pulse check-in. Leadership and people managers can then act quickly based on the feedback from those weekly check-ins. The 1 on 1 feature is used across the organization to set up structured meetings and support continuous performance reviews. High Five is also used as part of employee recognition, and it’s a great way to celebrate team members’ success.

The engagement surveys are straightforward to launch, and the results are easy to interpret. I also appreciate that the platform provides insights that help us spot trends across teams. The feedback tools encourage employees to share their thoughts on a regular basis, which makes it easier to keep a consistent pulse on how people are feeling.

Survey customization could use a few more options. The current templates are definitely helpful, but there are times when we’d like a bit more flexibility to adjust things to our needs.

After using it daily for a while, I’ve really come to appreciate the Manager-Employee alignment tools. It’s shifted our 1-on-1s from just 'status updates' to actual coaching conversations. I also love how the mobile app has improved; it makes it super easy to drop a 'High-Five' to a teammate or finish my check-in while I'm on the move without needing to be at my desk.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

While the templates are great for getting started, I still find the reporting dashboard a bit rigid when I want to pull very specific, granular data for my team's progress over a long period. I’d also love to see more integration options with some of the niche project management tools we use so I don’t have to jump between tabs as much.

The platform is very complete, with every tool you might need to drive engagement and support managers. It integrates with different HRIS and has a good customer support area, with fast answers.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The reliability is still in the works, as is the UI/UX. Since they're making adjustments as they go, it's not unusual to stumble upon errors and bugs, or things just not working as they did in the previous days.

With 15Five we have a one-stop-shop for managers, with 1:1s, check-ins, performance review, kudos. It gives them lots of insights on their team and helps us in the People team to give managers the exact tools they need to succeed.

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

We love using 15Five for our weekly check ins, most teams use the 1-on-1 feature, HighFives are super fun! We utilize the annual engagement survey, best self review and OKRs. Those have been really helpful for collecting feedback and supporting business outcomes.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Each year the annual engagement survey results change a bit which makes comparison to prior year's results challenging. The Best Self review allows you to make a custom rubric but the system is not set up to support that from a scoring perspective. Manager Effectiveness scores are a bit difficult to understand.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15Five helps us to stay connected, engaged + focused on what is most important. One major pain point we had prior to switching to 15Five was having a way to track OKRs. 15Five has made a big difference to how we are using our OKRs to support the business.

A system to continuously understand how employees are doing and improve it. It is a system mostly used by HR to review performance of the employees and Goals so this software helps it and give an automated solution.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

It is not a full HR system. 
Also pricing contributes the major part and can be compared with the other software in the market.
Too many notification.
Limited option of customization.

It is easy to use.
Clean UI and easy to understand.
Helpful for managers to track the employees progress and goals.
It helps with surveys as well.

I love the pulse, and being able to get a sense of where our team is on a week-to-week basis. It helps me as a CEO keep a sense of how folks are doing and get ahead early when there might be issues with our team that I need to address. We've also really loved the review process, and are using it 2x a year.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The interface has definitely become a bit more complex to use in the last year. It went from the 15Five check in being front and center to that being a little bit buried with all the other HR functions. Would love to have a bit more simplicity in the format so it's easier to use.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping an eye on employee engagement, performance, and workload. Also reviewing performance formally twice a year.

Some of the questions and check-ins can feel repetitive over time. More customization or rotation in prompts would help keep engagement fresh.

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I really appreciate the interface—it's user-friendly, dynamic, and simple to manage. Integration with our core HRMS is straightforward, which makes things much easier. The customer service team is excellent; they are very responsive and typically reply within 24 hours. There are also plenty of helpful resources available for self-help or self-service.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

There were some initial challenges with the implementation, but the team did their best to help us feel confident and ease our stress. I do think there should be more customization available in certain areas, such as headings and terminology.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized performance management system and repository of information for all our employee groups makes it much easier to handle everything in one place. It's great for pulse checks, monthly check-ins, and one-to-one feedback. The engagement survey feature is also useful.

The review cycle setup is very well organized. The templates, peer feedback, and calibration tools help keep everything consistent and make the overall process smoother. The AI suggestions are also useful, helping managers write more balanced, thoughtful feedback.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Setting up the first review cycle took a bit of planning and coordination. Once the templates were in place, the process became much smoother and easier to repeat for future reviews.

Our previous review process varied from one department to another and often felt inconsistent. This platform has standardized the workflow, making performance reviews more transparent and easier to follow. I really appreciate the modern tech design of 15Five. It's innovative and continuously improving, which makes me trust it as a helpful tool, especially for small teams or even a team of one like mine. The tool streamlines manual processes which makes my job easier by automating tasks and keeping everything organized in one place. The DEI-driven approach also builds trust by showing a human-centric approach that caters to diverse needs, making it a solution for everyone. I also like the inclusive pricing for small organizations. It allows me to have a great tool within budget, unlike other competitors that cater more to bigger accounts, 15Five prioritizes all accounts.

I find the customization features within the engagement survey lacking. I'm a big fan of the customization their comprehensive tool offers for comp reviews, but I wish the engagement and performance reviews offered the same level, if not more, like the other feature they offer. Similarly, throughout the platform there are limitations like in the Career Hub, 1-on-1s, Communications, Design, etc.

I appreciate that 15Five has expanded 1:1s beyond the manager/direct report dynamic. This fosters open, clear, and documented communication within teams. The platform stands out due to thoughtful details, such as full rich-text formatting (hyperlinks, headers, subheaders, bullet points, etc.) for note-taking. Organized, easily navigable notes are essential. Action items can be set, assigned, tracked, and have comments attached – a real asset. Integrating pulse checks and allowing kudos between team members is an easy morale booster. The reporting functions are also great once you've accumulated consistent data. Implementation and integration were straightforward for our technically adept team members, and our less computer-savvy employees were able to integrate the system over time.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The complex reporting and goal-setting features can be overwhelming for smaller teams, often exceeding their needs and leading to underutilization of the platform. A high-level package is required to fully leverage performance management features, further adding to underutilization and underuse. 15Five lacks subscription flexibility to accommodate diverse organizational needs and offers limited billing cycle options. As a Canadian customer, the lack of pricing in Canadian dollars makes the platform less justifiable. My experiences with customer support have been inconsistent, with agents providing conflicting information, so I wouldn't consider it a strength. Many of the challenges our team faced with 15Five features could be mitigated by adding more robust, engaging, and user-friendly training resources/courses.

The platform's user-friendliness enables our staff to record their goals and participate actively in the review process effortlessly. I feel 15Five could benefit from more AI functionality. I believe AI should be embedded throughout the platform to assist in writing better goals and reviews, highlighting areas and ideas for managers to proactively improve engagement. Additionally, I find the customization options for performance reviews somewhat limited, especially with the multiple templates involved. Simplifying the setup process for performance reviews would enhance the user experience. I also noticed that the current functionality, such as Kona, is exclusive to Zoom and not available for in-person meetings, which I think restricts its utility.

I think the best thing about the platform is its continuous nature, as opposed to the usual once- or twice-a-year review cycle. Overall, it’s extremely intuitive and easy to use. One-on-ones feel more productive, and it includes a lot of additional features, such as weekly check-ins and the innovative idea of 15 minutes for reports and 5 minutes for managers to review them. I also believe the peer recognition feature is something that’s often overlooked elsewhere. The tool makes it easy to use multiple times and come back more frequently and take note of your career goals and progress.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Sometimes weekly cadence can be too much especially when employee is in the middle of a intense project or in between leaves and it gets hard to focus. I believe a little bit more flexibility there will go a long way. Also while performance management is important, employee doesn't need to be reminded about it every so often and 15Five definitely suffers from notification overload.

It addresses some of the most common, fundamental issues in performance management across corporates: feedback cycles are broken, daily work gets disconnected from overall goals, and there’s a lack of cohesion between managers and employees. I find 15Five very relevant as it provides good feedback from our survey and has relevant topics in the transform series for our managers.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I've had several issues with pretty simple things like trying to get signed on to programs and preparing for our engagement survey, such as adding employees. I've tried to read the articles and use the chat, but I feel like it's pulling teeth to get someone to just get on the phone and walk me through to help me.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15Five gives us curriculum for management training and rolls out an employee engagement survey. It provides good feedback from our survey, and the transform series has relevant topics for our managers.

I have liked the design of the platform. It is user-friendly, making it easy to learn how to use.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I think that there should be more options to permit what can be viewed by each person based on their role. During the last review, I noticed a part of my CEO's response that I shouldn't have seen.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces the breach between me, as an employee, and my leadership (my CEO).
