## 15Five Reviews
  ### 1. Great Team Management Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt M. | Executive Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15Five is great for helping me review the performance of my team on a regular basis. I am able to have a view in each team members world through the weekly check in. I love the ability to comment, and even more the ability to high five employees for encouragement and recognition of hard work. Another great feature I enjoy is tracking how the team is feeling week to week. This is by far the best performance review platform I've come across.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I can't think of anything I dislike about 15Five.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With a good number of team members reporting to me I struggled to have regular and consistent one on one's. To respect each members time (as well as mine), we might have a one on one every 6-8 weeks. The made me feel like an absent leader. 15Five helped resolve that tension with its weekly check in tool. Now, I have a view in my team members worlds on a weekly basis. And, with 15 Five's many features I am able to comment, flag for follow up, or add to one on one agenda any items I feel necessary to do so with.

  ### 2. Quick Employee Check-Ins

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie F. | Senior Manager, Academics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

There is a mobile app that allows for employees to check in easily from their phones. The under interface is clean and easy to navigate. It operates similar to social media, which makes it seem more appealing.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

You have to be mindful of employee check-in questions. If a question is mandatory it will not allow the employee to skip, even if that question is not relevant to that week's work.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick pulse checks on employees and the ability to support managers with employees that I do not directly manage.

  ### 3. Functional Program

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I like that it is easy to navigate and functional.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I don't like that 1:1 talking points cannot be carried over into future conversations.
We cannot edit or update the talking points once submitted.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

N/A

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment, there are no problems I am solving with 15Five.

  ### 4. Great way to keep a task list and stay accountable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The checklist of goals, and being held Accountable for reaching them

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

All high fives should require a reason! It's no fun to get one with no explanation

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weekly accountability, checking in with other staff

  ### 5. Improved and Enhanced Job Performance Review Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ernest P. | Associate Director, Clinical QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

For 20+ years in this industry, the time periods that I dreaded the most were the times that I was required to enter Performance Objectives, Performance Self Evaluation and Performance Reviews. Why? Because there was little or no direction given on how to complete the process, it was too time consuming, and no matter what you wrote, it was always going to be challenged by senior management. My opinion of these processes changed when I took a job at this company and was introduced to 15/5. Although not much instruction was provided for new users, it was intuitive enough to answer directed questions and form cohesive objectives that were continually reviewed by management and shaped in a manner that made goal setting plausible.

By using 15/5, I was able to see my directed goals on a regular basis; to adjust my goals, when there was a shift in my work direction or assignment, and see progress on a regular basis. I particularly liked the task of reporting your work challenges every two weeks. This helped me to focus my attention and keep ahead of any challenges/problems without falling behind. It allowed me to have a meaningful discussion with my manager about my work progress as well.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Least Helpful aspects of 15/5; Downsides:
1. I found that there was no training program available to teach you how to navigate the many aspects of 15/5. I constantly had to ask my manager questions concerning where to find information.
2. I also found that there doesn't seem to be an area in which I can record areas for continuous improvement that are not a part of your established written goals or record additional goals that I feel that I have completed beyond the goals already established

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

For me, it was the most organized and constructive tool for performance management that I have experienced.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15/5 is helping me stay on track of with my recorded goals, but as important it is helping me to focus on those goals that are in alignment with company and department goals, not just personal ones. In these past six months, I have not felt as if I was lost in the expectations of my management. I felt that there was an actual effort by the company to assist me in succeeding; that my learning mattered; that I was a member of the company team with all oars in the water and all rowing in the same direction.

  ### 6. 15five for our weekly checkins

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I like that 15five allows our team to reflect on the week we had and give feedback ton our manager. It also allows us to recognize coworkers who have done a good job throughout the week.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I do not have any dislikes or negatives about using the 15fiver platform

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15five allows our team the chance to reflect on the week and also brainstorm on what we can improve on as an individual and as a team.

  ### 7. Sree's 15Five Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15Five is very useful to keep up-to-date on tasks completion status on a weekly basis as well as the golas/objectives for quarter and year.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Make the user experience better with more straight-forward approach to navigation.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Insist on your team to use 15Five on a regular basis to get the best value.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weekly Status reports and quarterly/annual performance reviews & check-ins.

  ### 8. Very nice tool to evaluate your employees performance as well as company culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jatin L. | UI/UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I like their weekly check-in feature where you can tell how was your week. (Bad or Good)

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I think I don't see anything dislike thing for 15five.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue how to listen from your employees in organization. Every week employee fill the check-in and they can express themself so organization get an idea where to improve and most important thing is we know that our employees are happy or not.

  ### 9. Great application to facilitate employee, reviews, growth and recognition

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan L. | Senior Application Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

As an employee I like the alerts and notification. Making it easier to remember to complete my check-ins. I also like the structure and flow of the check-ins. The flow allows me to fill out my check in completely and align them with my objectives.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I wish this application would integrate with different ticketing systems i.e. Salesforce, Jira or ServiceDesk. I have
tickets and projects in the above mentioned tools, and it would be a big improvement to integrate ticketing systems. So, I do not have to copy work from the various systems into 15Five.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A more encompassing employee performance management system than our previous one. This application allows employees to track progress on objectives and weekly tasks to more accurately display accomplishments and work history.

  ### 10. Almost There!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler H. | Video Arts Pastor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The concept of 15 Five is incredible, in and of itself. Intentional, consistent, (even customizable) communication on teams of any size is great. You can you se it as a daily driver or a monthly basis - set roles and communication styles. Organization- or team-based rules/schedules. high fives are a great feature. Super incredible SaaS!

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I have had two incidents with the platform and I'm not entirely sure they're user-error based or not. No one seems to know and I'm not an admin for the organization's account - for I am lowly end user/employee.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15Five keeps culture and trust running with intentional communication. No matter what type of business/organization that's being ran with 5+ employees, I think you can easily have people/plans/vision/culture fall to the way side. This stops those cracks from forming.

  ### 11. A must have for management in the remote world

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave S. | Senior Manager Customer Enablement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I really enjoy the weekly check in with my team. Often times things get missed if 1-1s become to tactical, so it's great to see the trends as well as the chance to catch anything that might have slipped through the cracks at the end of the week

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I don't love the lack of integrations. We don't use 15Five for task management and likely won't. I'd love to see integrations with Asana

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying in tune with your team is hard, especially without being face to face. The check-ins allow us to stay on top of these. The high five functionality has also been a great way to keep peers connected which has been cool to see.

  ### 12. Open Communication at its Finest

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoff G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15Five opens up communication between all employees and if properly used, can result in a well-balanced dynamic between administration and employees.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I truly don't have a single problem with 15Five. It's a powerful tool with a highly adept platform. It's something that I boast to my colleagues in other industries quite frequently.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Simply do it. This is an application that will transform most any work environment into a strong goal-oriented team / family.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company uses it to ask if it's employees are contemplating or imagining better things for themselves and for the business. It's been the best tool for communicating great weeks where all went well, and terrible weeks where we needed more support. This has made me realize how bad we were, as people, at communicating (in an overall way). Using this has encouraged me to be more direct about the things that I'm experiencing at work because it's taught me that all my superiors and coworkers are having their own struggles.

  ### 13. Productive and transparent performance management for all!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15Five is a great tool to track personal and team performance. The user experience makes leaving a self review easy and seamless, walking you through a few easy steps.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

When giving a High Five to multiple people it defaults to public viewing. Sometimes you want to give recognition to a few team members, but still keep it private only to the recipients.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

If you have a rapidly growing team, 15Five is a great solution to checking in on team performance and individual performance. This transparent tool helps open lines of communication and helps managers get a better gauge of how their team members are working towards their individual and team goals.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our leadership team is able to get a weekly gut check on how the team members are performing and feeling in a 1:1 secure manner. Beyond weekly meetings, 15Five provides another avenue for team members to ask questions, provide themselves with a gut check on their progression against their weekly goals, and a safe venue to share any roadblocks the individual is having. We have better transparency among the team by using 15Five!

  ### 14. Share feedback when working remotely.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I like the accountability of setting goals for each week and then reviewing them as well as giving kudos to co-workers and teammates.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

15five is very simple and easy going, not really something to dislike.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of my weekly goals and making myself accountable to them.

  ### 15. Excellent employee feedback and visibility at scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Feeling seen and heard by my manager in our weekly meetings, and being able to give feedback about company operations as a whole. 15Five is keeping our company connected and accountable as we continue to grow.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I don't like that sometimes questions I personally find helpful are removed, though I think that may be an administrator's choice and not the fault of the platform. For instance, I used to be able to rate my personal energy levels, and communicate any health or life event problems that have caused any issues. That was recently removed. I also think it would be good to have more visualization tools around trends in how you're feeling at work vs. number of tasks, or other metrics.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

I'd recommend this tool for teams of any size. Whether you're working with 5 other people or 50, it gives you a regular structure to understand what is happening within your team and your company.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm communicating about management about overwork on my team and other teams, and actively tracking my progress across projects.

  ### 16. 15Five has brought me closer to my colleagues during remote work & COVID

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey G. | Account Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15Five is extremely helpful in boosting workforce morale and helps my colleagues and I celebrate each others' wins as well as address any concerns.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I really don't think there's anything not to like about 15Five! My team finds the software easy to use, and we do not run into any roadblocks in terms of usability.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

I recommend that others take full advantage of all of 15Five's features and utilize the "High-Five" feature to better connect with employees during remote work.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15Five helps me and my manager problem solve by creating 1-on-1 talking points and keeping our meetings organized. Before 15Five, my workforce was not as organized in meetings, and didn't encourage each other enough!

  ### 17. Great software for team reviews and tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2019

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

It has really helped our team to grow and has really helped facilitate our 1 on 1s.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

It can be a little tough to find some tools that are hidden in menus that one might not expect.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped streamline our reviews and 1 on 1s

  ### 18. 15Five... A Wonderful Performance Management Platform Made Easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I love how easy it is to manage employee performance on a week over week and quarterly basis. You can tell that 15Five takes their customer feedback into high regard because the way they ship out relevant updates on a regular basis is awesome. It's easy to use, easy to adopt, and fun to track on. I use it as my work diary and appreciate how companies can tailor the usage in a way that best suits their needs.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Like all companies building tech, whenever they roll out new features things can be a bit restricted. As a person who works in tech, I understand that it takes user experience, feedback and time to iterate and validate expanded capabilities. I also wish their reporting was a bit more robust. I appreciate that the capability is there but providing more education on how we can use those insights to our advantage would be helpful, otherwise it's not in use.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Be open to hearing transparent feedback from your team. Use this is as a way to cut down on emails and Slacks. Use this for your 360 reviews!

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asynchronous and transparent communication and ongoing feedback loops have improved our internal culture. Getting people excited to share their wins, struggles, and priorities each week keeps everyone aligned with expectations and areas of improvement.

  ### 19. Great way to keep leadership in the know!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I love that I can update my manager each week on how I'm feeling, what my priorities are, and what I'm focusing on the following week.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The constant reminders get a little old. I'm sure I can go into setting for this. I haven't checked.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shoutouts to other team members is a great way to boost positivity in the company.

  ### 20. Weekly Checkin Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carmen C. | Head of Business Recruiting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

It's a real time feedback tool that allows leadership to get a pulse on how employees are feeling week by week. As a manager it is helpful for retention purposes and fostering an environment where employees feel heard.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

It is pretty frequent, but it's needed to ensure the product is effective.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Use the product consistently to attain the results you're aiming to achieve when purchasing.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee retention, hands down. It's also hard to guage how employees are feeling when we're all working remotely, so it has been eye opening to get a read on how remote work is effecting the team and how we can better foster an environment that will maintain employee happiness while still remaining at home

  ### 21. Helped building an interactive and dynamic communication with my team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Management goals being able to link with the collaborator´s goals and priorities help a lot on objective alignment in all levels.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I don´t like that when you mark a priority as complete does not show the date when it was marked. I keep my daily activities record there and I have to add extra information to give my boss all the information about what I did every day.

Also, I would prefer If I could define if check-ins are weekly or daily. Now we are working remotely we asked and are asked to deliver a daily log. This daily log could be replaced by making everyday check-ins and also that makes Friday submission easiest since you already updated it during the week.

I don´t like the way you can make a comment on the objective area of 15Five. For example, If you have child objectives that can´t be updated with comments individually, you have to comment on the whole objective. It would be great if there was a section of something to categorize comments, doubts, or text updates of child objectives by child objective.

The bank of question section is hard to use because if you want to assign a new question to the check-in to several team members you have to navigate again into the bank of question section because once you register the new question for a team member the website changes into another section. So if you want to register another question for another checking you have to go back and forward.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving feedback and having a reliable track of activities and performance in which managers and collaborators have to work together! Also, the connectivity between all users on the organization are really good for solving doubts, issues and improving as a company.

  ### 22. Fantastic app!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

At first I was skeptical. However, I found that it is a fantastic way to keep in touch with management and colleagues when time is of the essence.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I think it depends on the frequency of reporting and is not really a function of the solution. The only things that I would dislike are the questions that are customized from management.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

If you are a skeptic, run a trial to evaluate with your team. Our management let us weigh in on how to customize the application to be most effective within our organization. I don’t know what we would do without it now.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The high-fives are a great way to recognize others in your organization that have helped you to be successful. Management is able to weigh in on questions I may have that need answered outside of normal business hours.

  ### 23. Engaging Performance Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marci B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I love that 15Five offers free webinars on a monthly basis to help admins and user alike get acquainted with their product. Makes my life easier as we get into review season that i can share their review webinar with my employees instead of hosting my own orientation.

My company is highly engaged with their "high five" feature where one can give public praise and tag another person to let them know they are appreciated. We use the slack integrations too, so all company can view praise as it comes in.

Our weekly check ins via their platform give us an idea of how our employees are feeling overall and help us know where to zoom in and pay attention or take action. Easy to use, intuitive, user friendly, quick to fill out, and gives us much needed engagement data.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Best Self performance review function - One issue we had was around not understanding that comments made in a review were to be visible with everyone after review was finalized. Not a big issue to fix visibility but was not clear up front. They make updates regularly to fix these kinds of things too.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting frequent, transparent feedback to our staff. Wrangling our yearly performance review process with high completion rate. Benefits in realizing a culture of full company appreciation that is genuine and fun to engage with.

  ### 24. Great for easy communication!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

It's so helpful to have the accountability of following up with your direct reports every week.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I never had any issues. I really enjoyed the service.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our company gets bigger, it is harder for upper management to keep track of how everyone is doing. 15/5 makes it easy to keep track of progress!

  ### 25. Enlightened feedback for continual growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

We have been able to track the progress towards goals in a very detailed way, and the buy in on our team has been excellent (providing insight into the successes and failures along the way). I have also liked the programmed, optional questions that go beyond our explicit tasks at hand.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

There have been a few repeated questions amongst optional questions. Also, the ability to view other team members' pages is limited (or at least not intuitive). I am mostly just seeing my own results!

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Make sure you incentivize employee buy-in into the program - without it, there's little context around the trends ittracks.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are improving team cohesion while being productive towards our business objectives. We set up consistent sprints that we then break down into weekly chunks and drive our actions through 15Five.

  ### 26. Fantastic Performance Management Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanner G. | Customer Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Easy to use UI - Fantastic data insights. Love that you can shoot someone a high five as a way to tell them that you appreciate something that they've done throughout the week. It's a great way to give recognition to those fellow colleagues/managers.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I truly have found nothing to date! Everything seems to work together seamlessly. The one thing that I might add is that I would prefer to have a tile based UI than list based. Sometimes lists fall within lists and it can be a bit troublesome to find a page at the very beginning of using the software, definitely not indicative of any sort of long term issue I have with the software.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall employee engagement & feelings about workloads. Helps us track employees feelings about workloads in direct relation to changes to workflows. We also use 15five to give shout outs to fellow employees/colleagues to boost morale.

  ### 27. Partner Success Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Using a continuous performance management system has allowed me to keep a record of all the work I'm doing and to easily share that with my managers as well as the wider team. I feel more connected with the wider team and aware of all the good work that I've been doing. When it comes time for the annual catch up to talk about my role there is truly no surprises and the conversation way more productive on how I can be my best self at work.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

It really does requires the team to get in there and to fill in the 15Five reviews weekly but once everyone is involved and they are seeing feedback form their peers and managers - it is really engaging and our team loves it.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Definitely give it ago you won't be disappointed! Communication is key and doing more regularly has definitely improved the work we do as a team and as a company.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alignment of tasks/projects between teams and inviduals to have a greater impact as a whole. It's great for getting more frequent feedback on work and creates great work habbits around communication.

  ### 28. 15Five Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I like the platform because it allows me to see clearly defined objectives and report my weekly feelings and targets.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

One thing I dislike about 15five is that updating objectives could be more transparent (how-to) and making the platform a little easier to use (user-friendly).

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15five helps me stay on top of my objectives and realize my weekly accomplishments. It also allows me to seek help from my manager.

  ### 29. Performance Management Assets/Communication with Employees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed O. | Pastor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Real time feedback that allows you not only to identify problems, but also seize opportunities to minimize gaps in expectations and organizational alignment. I also love the features that allow you to dial in the local experience, despite being a part of a global organization.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Currently, nothing:) I'm actually moving forward in maximizing features that enhance goal setting and actionable steps. I think you need to play with it for a year before you truly can leverage the full benefits of calendar, system and personal alignment.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working to enhance the communication with leaders between one on ones, create a trail of real data to access performance, and seek ways to advance people in their careers accordingly. I've found that I not only know what my employees are facing, but it also gives me the opportunity to clarify and reinforce verbal communication to my staff.

  ### 30. Love this tool! It saves me so much time, and keeps me and those around me organized!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jathan D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15Five allows you to add items to 1on1 topic items is an awesome feature to keep us aligned. I can quickly move from details I captured and want to discuss from one's 15Five submission to a 1on1 topic and then even into an Action Item, which is awesome.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

It was hard to change to a skip a week or bi-weekly model without the assistance of 15Five Support. They did solve it for me where the following week needed people to be set in vacation mode. This was a solve, but to date, the full list of dates for a given week is off due to the due date stating the wrong date, so it causes some confusion, but I tell the team to just disregard.

This reminds me to reach out to Support about this, and maybe there can be some improvement made there.

The other issue I have is that Work that you would have hoped to have completed but did not, does not auto carry over upon submission of your 15Five to work that you should be completing in the upcoming week. I find myself manually copying them there. I recall this being different in the past use of 15Five at my previous employer. Is this something that we have control over setting? Something I'll also reach out to 15Five support about and find out.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

This product is worth far more than they are asking you to pay for it. It has solved so many issues for me and our teams. And when this does this for me at 2 different companies, I'm quite pleased with it, to say the least, and you will be too.

It starts from the top down. If you make it a priority, then so will the rest of the teams.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps with keeping myself and my team in tune with our 1on1s on a regular basis, as well performance reviews were a breeze as well.

We often forget what is said in the fast paced world of tech and even more so with Startups. Well, we are both, and this helps to ensure that we are always on the same page as a company and with our people.

I am more efficient with the use of 15Five.

  ### 31. Useful tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie F. | Global Partnerships Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

As a manager, the weekly check-ins are a great way to stay in touch with how my direct reports are doing and also creates great opportunities for conversation. I like the functionality of the app to be able to add to my 1:1 agendas no matter where I am and what I'm doing!

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The thing I don't like about 15Five is that there isn't as much cross-functionality as I would prefer. It would be great if action items from my 1:1 became suggested priorities for the week and/or action items on my agenda with my other 1:1s.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15Five is a great way to be better connected to my teammates.

  ### 32. Manager of Strategic Accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mindy F. | Manager of Strategic Accounts, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I have spent 2 decades in a garden variety of uninspiring performance review programs, systems, goal trackers, weekly updates- whatever you want to call it. 15/5 is hands down the most efficient and complete system I have encountered (as an individual contributor, leader, or manager) for the work place. It allows you to track to established goals, communicate progress, and stay consistent in updates with simplicity inclusive of adding important comments. I also love the "style" in which this program builds a positive, collaborative culture in my workplace. It helps me to remember those during my week who have made an impact around me- to provide them well deserved kudos in addition to documenting my own performance. I look forward to doing 15/5 every week- and would highly recommend this system of success to anyone!

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

There is not anything I would change about the way 15/5 works- or how it is administered at the user level.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

embrace all the features available to you when using the program- and also don't forget to celebrate others with a high five weekly!

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that what the weekly "solve" for me is to keep me on pace- celebrating the things I accomplished but also looking at those that could be rolled over into the next week to tackle in a different way. In collaboration with my Manager, it allows me to stay engaged toward my goals and keep her in the loop for feedback.

  ### 33. A quick way to inject empathy into your working life

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew H. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Having 15Five essentially allows us to constantly express gratitude and have honest conversations about things that matter.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The latest version of their interface didn't really add much to the user experience. It feels a little like they did such a good job on the core product that they're trying to figure out what to do next, and just changed the interface for something to do.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

15Five is the right choice for you if you genuinely care about the wellbeing of your team. If you're just looking for stiff, formal performance management software, then you should probably try something else. But if you care, 15Five is a great way to help you to engage with your team and apply a little structure to the process.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

15Five allows us to have a great deal of empathy within our team in a time where having that empathy is absolutely paramount as people struggle with the pandemic. We can share our appreciation, track our personal development and generally keep tabs on the wellbeing of our team.

  ### 34. A healthy rhythm for good communication and ownership

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alec Z. | Board Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I like that the product is centered around a core rhythm: the once-per-week, 15-minute reflection on the week and opportunity to answer questions and provide feedback to one's manager (and from the manager back to the employee).

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The OKRs interface is decent, but there are some other products that make it easier / clearer to visualize OKRs in the org chart. Also, why isn't there an org chart feature? All the information is there in the platform...

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We implemented 15Five so that we could have healthy weekly (15Five) and monthly (1-on-1 meeting) communication patterns, and so that we could get our OKRs in front of our employees every week and make them a core part of our operating process. Previously, we would set our OKRs once per quarter, forget about them, and then realize that we had them with a week or two left in the quarter and scramble to try to complete them before the deadline. Now, our employees have the opportunity to review their OKRs and provide a quick-and-easy progress update every week. 15Five automates this process so that every manager (even ones new to management) has the tools to establish great communication and accountability patterns with their employees.

  ### 35. Great tool that's simple, easy to use on phone app or laptop, keeps me and my supervisor on track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The questions help me to think through my projects and update as I move along. The phone app is easy to update and close out the week if I forget to do it at the end my work week.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

That there's no way to prioritize my tasks for the week. I put a P1 or P2 for Priority 1, 2, 3 etc before the task but it would help if that were an option to click on and if the system would rearrange my tasks by the priority I put so I don't have to drag the tasks around.

The phone app didn't have a way to change my vacation dates and I didn't know that it closed the whole week when I put a partial week's date in.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Just do it. You'll increase your productivity and communication with those you work with, especially your team leader.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication with my supervisor has improved and reduced meeting times. I can update my 15Five daily if there are changes or additions to my tasks. It also helps as a reminder of things I need to work on when things slow down and offers an opportunity to explain why I might be delayed or having challenges in completing a task.

  ### 36. Super efficient and easy way to give dynamic feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I think that the weekly check-in feature is amazing. I've never used a software to keep track of goals (short-term, long-term, and 1:1) all compacted into 1 tool, so I really appreciate the ability to do so and also receive feedback from my manager every step of the way. It's a good tool for the 1:1's where things can come up during the week and it's an easy place to jot them down as they are accomplished. It's a good way to use just 1 tool instead of a few, and it isn't a tool that is complex or difficult to navigate. The ability to high five folks around the company is also a nice way to give a little bit of recognition to someone in a way that is semi-public but not in a way that is overbearing, it's nice!

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

To be honest, the only thing that I dislike is some of the functionality of closing out items that are past due (review for a superior). It's not a nuisance but it's still something that I see on my dashboard even though there are no action items.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Make full use of all of the goals! It's a really nice way to tick off progress and see how well you are doing on progressing!

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has opened up a direct temperature gauge between me and a manager who is managing a lot of people. So it's a good way for them to keep track of how we're feeling at work, but also gives us the opportunity to explain why maybe it was an off-week. In short, asynchronous communication therefore a timesaver for both my manager and I.

  ### 37. 15five is easy and intuitive to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I love the check in's on the site the best. It allows me to prioritize certain tasks during the week.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The only thing I dislike is how the integration works between our HRIS and 15five. It updates immediately even if the effective date is in the future in the HRIS

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to stay on top of new starters and beyond. We can track employee's progress and identify any issues.

  ### 38. Great way to stay in touch with direct reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I love the interactive nature of the check-ins. 15Fives help guide manager-report 1:1s to make sure that goals are being followed up on and important action items are being tracked and completed. The questions at the end of each check in also create a chance to get to know your direct reports better.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Adding questions for future check-ins is a little tricky with multiple direct reports. I wish there was a way to apply all the same questions to all your direct reports, without needing to re-type the questions.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personally, 15Five has helped me track my goals better. The way goals are broken up into smaller pieces and tracked with each check in, allows for better accountability and allows your manager to help you achieve your goals better.

  ### 39. 15Five makes check-ins a snaps and surfaces either difficult q

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kuangwei H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The weekly 15Five is is an excellent pulse check on the team. Managers could setup a pool of questions that are rotated through the next several weeks. Sometimes they surface fun team building ideas, what new tools or technology they have learned, and sometimes they surface actual organizational challenges that team members may not want feel comfortable bringing up to a larger group.

Being able to set comments to private, so that it's only between the two of us is great. We can then address those concerns privately in a safe environment. Non-private comments are also easy to bubble up to my own manager by hitting the "pass it up" button, to invite a larger discussion as needed.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The 1-on-1 feature is great, however, when someone adds a 1-on-1 item, it notifies the other side immediately, often times prematurely. Sometimes there are concerns that I would like to note in my 1-on-1 notes ahead of our next meeting (perhaps in a private note), but not yet actually notify my manager yet. It'd be good to set some private notes so they are not going out just yet. Sometimes a concern might resolve itself before then meeting happens, then in that case it no longer needs to brought up.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Surfacing workflow issues, team dynamics issues, or inter-departmental issues that may not be apparent to the manager or the team member until a specific question was asked, and giving the team member a forum to safely express the concern.

  ### 40. Its easy and fun!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony D. | Product Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The ability to make reviews on the fly and easy

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

None just the reminders help me get it done on time

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haven't ran into any issues

  ### 41. Performance Reviews + Recognition Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

First off, the ability to track my goals week to week makes for super easy performance reviews. I can look back on my weekly reviews and quickly structure the story of my quarter/year. I used to have to go through email kudos etc. and this is so much easier. I like that it prompts me with a few emails a week to capture my wins on the day to day. Second, the ability and encouragement to give kudos across the company on a weekly basis is fantastic. Working in a distributed company, this is an easy and fun reminder to recognize the folks around you. Easy team building. Love it.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

15Five shows how many weeks in a row you've completed your review on time. I'd like a pause function for the weeks that I'm off. I feel guilty breaking my streak :)

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

I think 15Five is a no brainer if you're in the market for an easy way to roll out KPI tracking across your company. If 2020 has made your work force remote and you're looking for an easy way to connect them look no further. Not only does it encourage frequent feedback and kudos, it makes those remarks public. You can see who is receiving the most high fives and add a thumbs up.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Performance tracking, kudos and recognition. There's also a feature to track larger projects across different parts of the business that I think will be fun to explore in the new year.

  ### 42. Outstanding Business Performance Tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15Five engages all employees from entry-level to executives. It builds a bridge of communication that may not have previously existed or may not have been as easy to cross with regularity and confidence.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Great tool! Nothing to dislike. It sends reminders to finish your weekly reviews.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

It's an amazing tool to explore and uncover possible blindspots in your management systems. It engages employees in a fun, novel way!

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It asks the intangible questions like "How did you feel about your work this week?". This is a great way to engage everyone on all levels and starts a conversation of improvement or continuing on a good path.

  ### 43. Encouraging to talk about team improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Give & get High Fives: Often you don't know what others think about your performance or you don't have the right opportunity to say to a colleague that he or she did an excellent job. High Fives is an easy way to encourage to work more as a team and less than internal competitors.

Variety in questions: I like that every week there is a set of 1,2 questions that are new encourage myself to think deeper about how to improve. That's why I think and describe things to my manager that I probably wouldn't have done otherwise.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Let's say improvements:
Pulse Trend: My pulse trend is already high with a 4 out of 5. That speaks for my company, on the other side there is little room for improvement. I had weeks where I could say, yeah I feel like top notch 5 but I wanted to reserve a 5 when I close my first deal.
Adjusting my pulse level to a deeper level would misrepresent my feeling and wouldn't feel right.

Weekly Goal setting: Sometimes I can't plan goals for the next week or priorities in the middle of the week are changing. I need to finish my 15five Friday morning, but this is not where my work of the weeks simultaneously ends, often I still have some work to do to finish my goals.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Talking about reality and receiving feedback in an easy and efficient way. I know better where I stand and my supervisor knows where I have problems or see improvements. The most important thing for me is to review once a week what I achieved, identify what is missing and plan my goals for the next week. 15Five give me focus

  ### 44. A good tool to keep track about how I'm feeling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joao L. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

That I have to recognize if I managed to meet the goals or not and at the same time to set my next goals

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

That I can't find one way to ignore one feedback if I'm on holidays or something. I'm sure they probably have it but then the UX is not good on that feature

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like I said above, it forces me to plan my week so that really helps me to keep organized

  ### 45. Annoying idioms make a simple job harder

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Semiconductors | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The intended simplicity of the 15five system.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Idiomatic idiosyncrasies, including uneditable entries at various points in the flow. (e.g., comments on tasks - if you want to edit something, you have to delete the task, then re-enter it with the correction; similarly, once you submit weekly, you can't immediately add another task). These and other issues make the system annoying to use.
The way shout-outs (HiFives) are done lowers their value - they're frequently just for something that's part of someone's job description rather than being reserved for something extraordinary (e.g., someone answered a question). The resulting barrage of messages about these makes one want to turn off notifications (and therefore not see the reported Hi Fives).
There's no way to push a task to the next week. This should be a button click (and indicate that it's carried over and for how many weeks). Helps identify tasks that are lagging; also would greatly speed the weekly reporting process.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weekly planning and reporting. Coordination with management and my manager. Sending Shout-outs to various individuals who've done something extraordinary.
Benfits include conciseness, speed of filing, consistency of reporting, ability to easily look over history.
Interesting to see the "mood" (overall feeling) summarized over a long period of time.
As this isn't connected into corporate MBOs yet, there is a lot less value than there could be (but this isn't the fault of 15five).

  ### 46. Love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peggy J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

It is very user friendly and can be tailored to fit any type of business needs.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Maybe having a comment section for the rating of the week to help the managers understand more of why the employees chose the number they did.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

This program gives a positive spin on how to get your employees engaged meanwhile keeping structure. The positive effect this has had on our company is amazing. The technique used to follow and grade work progress feels positive and not like you are getting in trouble for not hitting your goal. It makes you want to try harder to do a better job each week to beat your goal from the previous week.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems. It helps open communication and the goals setting helps encourage the employees.

  ### 47. A very useful tool for tracking 1:1s and keeping a record of your performance for self-evaluations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Easy to use, nice clean interface, and very useful as an archive for self-evaluations

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Nothing in particular—for our use case (organization-wide tool for 1:1s and weekly self-reviews) it serves its purpose very well.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to standardize how the organization handles weekly and bi-annual self reviews, and how we structure 1:1s with our managers.

  ### 48. We LOVE 15Five!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynn R. | Customer Experience, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15Five is easy to implement across an org and it is very flexible, able to change with needs. We have been able to update/change questions based on culture surveys and 15Five responses and really get to the heart of a 1x1.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Some pieces of the interface can feel hidden behind menus. There is no grace period for when your responses are due though this may be an org choice.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Use 15Five, once it has been tailored to your org you will not want to go back to what you had.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our goals on track in an all-remote environment.

  ### 49. Easy to use on a weekly check in basis

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh B. | Director of Customer Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Flexibility to have as little or as much information as desired. Single place to see objectives, weekly goals, and provide feedback to your manager. Ability to add relevant questions that inform the company strategy. We asked for

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Like an performance management system as you add more layers it becomes more difficult to stay engaged. Sometimes getting into the OKRs can be confusing and you into deeper than you want to go.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weekly visibility from my team and to my manager. Raising concerns in a documented way. Ensuring the team is engaged in their own development

  ### 50. Great tool for all companies big & small!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I love that I'm able to keep my to-do list, goals and thoughts/feelings during the week all in one consecutive space. It's nice to look back on previous weeks to track your progress on a specific project or how you've progressed in your development in your role as well! It feels as though its a safe space where you're able to express thoughts or concerns about a project to your manager and they are able to suggest how you should move forward and receive insight on how you may need assistance with a particular task. This has also been great because our company has multiple offices we're able to plan "coffee dates" with someone we may not get to work with typically. I also love that we're able to give the well deserved recognition to our colleagues by giving them a "high-five"

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I haven't come across something I dislike about this platform so far. If I had to select one thing I disliked I think it would be how frequent I receive emails reminding me to submit my 15five for the week. This is more than likely something that I would be able to fix on the backend!

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

If you're looking for a way to stay connected with your company, 15Five is the perfect way to do it! It helps you see whaat others are working on, how they may need support, gives others the pat on the back, or high five, they deserve!

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned, this has been a great way for our team to keep track of our to-do lists. This has been a way for our managers to see all that we have on our plates and they are able to see what they may be able to do to help us thrive in our current position. 15Five feels like it's a safe space to be open about how you're feeling that you may not otherwise be comfortable with sharing.
