I'm working on a comparison of project-based ERP platforms specifically on whether they effectively handle multiple currencies and billing models, since a lot of systems handle one client's invoice format fine and fall apart the moment a second currency or a different billing structure gets added. Here's where that distinction holds up:

  1. Sage Intacct: Multi-entity consolidation automates intercompany transactions and currency conversions natively, fixing what used to be a manual, headache-inducing part of month-end close. Does the currency handling stay this smooth once more entities get added to the mix?
  2. Unanet AE ERP: Different rate schedules and separate invoice formats per client work the way firms actually need them to, without requiring workarounds even across several complicated billing setups at once.
  3. NetSuite: Jobs and billing that used to be tracked on separate platforms now sit in one system, staying organized even as the number of billing structures in play grows.
  4. Acumatica: Budgets, commitments, change orders, and billing all tie back to individual jobs in one place, cutting out the manual reconciliation that used to happen across separate tools for multi-site billing. Does that job-level tie-back stay clean once multiple currencies get layered on top?
