Sales Compensation Software Discussions
We’re a small business with a growing sales team, and managing commissions with spreadsheets is getting out of hand. We’re now looking for a sales compensation solution that’s affordable, easy to use, and built to grow with us.
Our ideal platform would:
- Automate commission calculations
- Give reps real-time visibility into their earnings
- Integrate with Salesforce or HubSpot
- Be simple enough for a lean ops team to manage
Here are a few platforms I’ve seen ranked highly:
- Salesforce Spiff – Looks polished and built with Salesforce in mind. Is it small business–friendly in terms of pricing and setup?
- Everstage – Claims strong transparency and user experience. Anyone using it with a lean team?
- CaptivateIQ – Powerful and flexible, but is it overkill (or overpriced) for small teams?
- Qobra – Not as widely known—any feedback from small business users?
- Xactly Incent – Seems like a legacy enterprise tool. Would love to hear if it works well in a small business setting.
If you’re a small business using one of these, I’d love to hear:
- What made you choose it?
- Was the onboarding process smooth?
- What do your reps and finance folks think?
- Any pros, cons, or lessons learned?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experience—real-world advice is always more valuable than marketing pages.
I've hear great things about Spiff, especially since the connection to other Salesforce products have been strengthened
As a freelance designer on the side I could really use a tool like this, especially with English not being my native language, writing content is particularly challenging.
Is Visdum built for smaller/mid-size/larger teams?
