Planview® ProjectAdvantage (formerly Sciforma Vantage) is a project portfolio management (PPM) software solution that helps PMOs and delivery leaders plan, govern, and execute projects across the full lifecycle of portfolio management. The platform supports idea and demand intake, portfolio planning, project scheduling, resource management, team collaboration, financial tracking, and time capture within a single unified environment. ProjectAdvantage provides organizations with a structured system to manage large portfolios of concurrent initiatives while maintaining visibility into project progress, resource capacity, risks, and financial performance. Key features and capabilities include: • Idea and demand management with dynamic business case scoring, risk and benefit visualization, and budget-driven ranking tools that help teams evaluate and prioritize incoming project requests before resources are committed. • Portfolio planning and simulation including pipeline dashboards, portfolio health views, and scenario modeling capabilities that allow PMO leaders to evaluate trade-offs across competing projects, funding constraints, and resource availability. • Gantt-based project scheduling with support for critical path management, milestone tracking, work package structuring, cost and budget monitoring, and detailed project timeline control. • Resource management and capacity planning tools that provide visibility into role-based availability, team allocation across active and planned projects, and workload distribution to help organizations align delivery capacity with portfolio priorities. • Integrated time tracking that captures actual effort at the task level and feeds logged hours directly into financial tracking, project forecasting, and resource capacity planning. • AI-powered project intelligence that helps accelerate project planning and execution by suggesting deliverables during project initialization, identifying potential project risks based on project data, recommending updates to risk criticality as projects evolve, and enabling natural-language time entry directly from collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams to reduce administrative overhead. Allegra

Allegra — Project Management, Task Management and Service Desk in One Tool A European alternative to Jira, MS Project, Asana, Trello, Zendesk and Freshdesk. Hosted in Germany, or on your own servers. Allegra brings three things that companies usually buy separately into one place: classic and agile project management, everyday team task management, and a proper service desk. It's made in Germany by Alltena GmbH and it's built to be configured rather than coded, so you can shape it around how your teams actually work instead of the other way round. The thing most teams care about first is where their data lives. With Allegra you decide. Run it in our German cloud (ISO 27001-certified, data centres in Frankfurt, Berlin and Karlsruhe), or install it on your own infrastructure, on plain VMs or in Docker. You can move between the two whenever you want, and a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR comes as standard. The current version is Release 9.0. Allegra works for a two-person team and it works for organisations running hundreds of users across several sites. Safran, Telespazio, Georg Fischer, Komatsu, CAE, Knick, Helios Ventilatoren and DUNGS Combustion Controls are among the companies using it. THREE EDITIONS THAT BUILD ON EACH OTHER You license Task, Project or Service per person, and you can mix them across teams. Nobody pays for capability they don't use, and there's no separate system to bolt on later: Project already contains everything in Task, and Service contains both. Allegra Task — tasks and issues This is the everyday layer. Instead of scattered lists, sticky notes and email threads nobody can find later, all your work items live in one place: to-dos, bugs, incidents, risks, open points, whatever you need to track. See them as a list, on a Kanban board, or in a Gantt chart. Add priorities, due dates and reminders. Comment, @mention people and attach files right on the item. For software teams it doubles as a full agile tool, with backlogs, sprints, releases, epics, user stories, story points, burn and velocity charts, and it connects to GitLab and Git so you can follow an issue through to the commits and releases that closed it. Allegra Project — classic, agile and hybrid Everything Task does, plus real project planning. The Work Breakdown Structure nests as deeply as you need (not the single level some tools quietly limit you to), and you get Gantt charts, resource allocation, baseline comparison and earned-value tracking to see whether a project is actually on course. Where it's unusual is that you don't have to pick a method for a whole project. Run one part of it agile with sprints and boards, run another classically with a plan and dependencies, and manage the whole thing as a portfolio if you have several projects going at once. There's an integrated wiki and document management too. Allegra Service — ticketing, helpdesk and knowledge base A complete service desk that works the same way for internal IT support and external customer support. Requests come in by web portal, email, phone, chat or the mobile app and land in one queue. Known customers are recognised automatically; new ones can be registered or just noted for the case at hand. From there, tickets get assigned, by keyword, by tag, or by a person deciding, and tracked against SLAs. Agents can talk to each other in internal comments the customer never sees, pull in second-level support, and answer faster using templates. If a ticket is waiting on the customer, it flips to "waiting for reply", reminds them, and eventually closes itself. Behind it sits a self-service knowledge base with FAQs and documentation, and the whole thing maps onto ITIL incident, problem and change processes if you run them. Guest and client accounts are unlimited and free. WHAT ACTUALLY SETS IT APART Most work tools ask you to choose between a slick US cloud product and something you can host yourself. Allegra doesn't. You get the self-hosting option that pure cloud vendors don't offer, without giving up a maintained, hosted alternative if you'd rather not run servers. It also replaces several tools at once. Support, delivery and planning share one system, so a customer ticket can turn into a task and a task can roll up into a project without anything being re-keyed or lost between apps. And you configure most of it yourself. Custom fields and forms, no-code workflows, tailored helpdesk processes and industry-specific setups are done through the interface, which keeps you out of expensive custom development. When you do need to plug into the rest of your stack, there's your email server, Azure AD, GitLab and Git, a Power BI connector, a REST API, and scripting for workflows and event handlers. The reporting is worth a mention because it's genuinely useful rather than decorative: dashboards, Gantt views and a reporting engine that surface bottlenecks, SLA performance and where a project is drifting, so decisions rest on numbers instead of gut feel. One more practical point: your data stays yours. If you ever want to leave the cloud for your own server, we hand you an archive file to load into the target system. No hostage situation. WHO USES IT Allegra tends to land in technical and regulated organisations that need both capability and control over their data: Electronics and mechatronics: project, order, quality and change management, plus service. Engineering and machine building: the whole lifecycle from product idea to after-sales service. Software development: issue tracking, agile/classic/hybrid PM, DevOps. Auditing and controlling: recurring annual reporting work and general task management. Public sector: security incident handling, approval workflows and change management, often on-premise for data-residency reasons. Defense: project, order, quality and change management in security-critical settings. Financial services: workflow digitisation, incident management and transparent task distribution. IN THEIR WORDS "We've used Allegra for several years at DUNGS Combustion Controls to manage a large share of our tasks and projects, across many sites and continents. It's impressive how the software has grown." — Stephan Arnold, DUNGS Combustion Controls "Over three years in, we've tailored it so our project managers and development teams can plan and run a lot of projects reliably and with little effort. We wouldn't want to be without it." — Aglaia Eck, Helios Ventilatoren "A highly professional support team that took every request seriously and dealt with it with real understanding." — Dr. Oliver Bachmann, Stiftung Maria Ebene PRICING Pay monthly in the cloud or buy a self-hosting licence, and combine the three editions however you like across your teams. Allegra Task: from €12 per user / month. Issue tracking, task and agile work. Allegra Project: from €20 per user / month. Full project management, time and resource planning. Allegra Service: from €29 per agent / month. Helpdesk, ticketing and service management. Contracts run 12 months, and the per-user price drops as the team gets bigger. If you'd rather own than rent, the purchase price is the monthly price times 24. Self-hosting licences include full support and every new version. Onboarding is a 3-hour setup session, included free once you reach a Project or Service quota of 25 users, and there's a high-availability option for spreading the app across several servers or containers. You can try the whole thing free for 30 days in the cloud, and we don't ask for payment details to start. Whether you're moving off Jira, tidying up a pile of half-connected tools, or just want your support and project teams working in the same place, Allegra is worth a look, especially if keeping your data in Europe actually matters to you. Start a free 30-day trial or book a demo at alltena.com. Made by Alltena GmbH, Germany.
