Easy for Junior Project Managers who don't have the experience to manage a project. PlanHammer helps them to learn how to manage a project using their own tools. Maximum tools that are required to manage a project are available on PlanHammer. As all the tools are together so no need to go or find them elsewhere.

Planhammer has all the attributes of a good Project Management tool. It's good that it is web-based and doesn't require additional software installation. It provides powerful and high-level data visualizations in the form of Gantt Charts, which is helpful in determining the schedule, due dates, and dependencies. makes it easier when collaborating with other teams to establish hierarchies of work. 1) PlanHammer is on the expensive side of tools, They have a free trial of 30 days, after that its 20$/month if you have less than 10 users, price goes up to 50$/month for 10 to 20 users.

2) would prefer a bit more flexibility to edit the WBS, being able to arrange/drag and drop boxes instead of predefined ones would be helpful.

3) Maybe provide support to send notification updates to Phone.

I love the simplicity of PlanHammer and how user friendly it is. It neatly organizes all of your items into simple and easy to understand gantt charts. I was able to introduce this software to colleagues who are less familiar with some of today's technologies, and they were able to pick it up quickly and easily. The ability to see the same information in multiple visualization formats (i.e. gantt vs. agile vs. list) is extremely useful and allows for personalizing the boards. Pricing. While PlanHammer does offer a 30-day fee trial, the price for a group of 1-10 members is $20/month. For the simplicity of the platform relative to alternatively available tools, I wish they had different pricing options.

This is an excellent Project Management Software. In my opinion it has all of the most important Project Management components but it is not overwhelming. I really like the fact that it has WBS and Risk Management. It is very easy and straight forward to set up a project and assign risks and RACI. The WBS is graphical which is awesome and can be manipulated like a mind map. There is also a list view for the tasks. You can quickly create tasks and the prioritize them later. You can then add details and assign the task to an individual. This software really stream lines the process and helps keep things in order. It also includes Agile but I have not had the opportunity to use this feature yet. Overall this is a very powerful but simple Project Management Software for a great price. One of the biggest things I would like to see is a mobile app for this software. I think that would make this software all the better. Also at times some of the pages have been loading a little slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
