Team collaboration with Git integration is made easier thanks to the different set of tools available. It can also be added as a plugin in different IDEs without much effort. Merge requests show a very clear difference between the code being committed and the code already in the target branch, which helps with reviews. It’s also easily deployable to an on-premise server.
Git checkout / commit, history, blame etc works seamlessly.
