Ease of use and multi functionality, perfect so far! I really like how everything is in one area and it's a seamless transition to the many pages within YayPay. The dashboard is amazing in that I can see everything at a glance if needed. I went to a meeting one day and instead of having to print a page, simply cast the Dashboard to the screen within the conference room. As I said, the ease of use is truly helpful. Occasionally, it may load slower than usual but that could be an internal issue. I would also like the ability to add more office personnel to YayPay and or additional report identifiers at some point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
YayPay is very easy to use and has a credit card add-on product that meets our current business needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting can be further developed to generate aging reports that distributed to individuals on a given basis. YayPay should also further develop the collections module to include exact invoice numbers of applied payments when sending remittance advice to clients. Moreover, DSO is not calculated on the home page. Payments are taken from the current month; there should be an "as of date" option to exclude certain payments that fall outside the DSO calculation dates. I have opened tickets for these 3 items before and was told it would be logged in for a potential future development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Works in secret behind your normal AR team.
Clear statements and invoice retrieval means the clients have less excuse to pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The dashboard needs a little work to really excel. However I am aware of the developments happening that should resolve most of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To be up front, we were one of YayPay's first few clients to utilize the product within NetSuite. With all new platforms, there are shortcomings however - the team at YayPay was responsive with any issues we encountered and offered understanding when we raised concerns or identified where technology was lacking. It is rare in the software/technology business unit to find engineers who listen to the consumer/user and actually admit that they are still learning as they go along. I respect this tremendously being in NetSuite for almost 20 years and also part of IT for at least 15 of those years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With all new companies, turnover is inevitable and with that turnover accounts get redistributed and the historical knowledge is then lost. Having worked closely with our account manager and the technology team on the setup within NetSuite, it was disappointing to lose that level of recognition when our account manager left. Now it truly feels like you get entered in to a queue and handled as just another ticket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is simple to use and the client communication through the tool is helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool should have a reporting module. The tool should have an ability to make mass changes, such as designate many clients to a new AR person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the functionality of the workflows, the mass assignment and emailing. Our ability to enable customer to pay with Yaypay and see their customer statement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some scripting issues that make it so we can use CSV uploads in Netsuite so it wont pull over the right invoice template. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our finance team was able to self-implement, with limited help needed from technical folks. YayPay was very responsive to needs and customizations that we needed that were then fed into the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like more integrations to our other systems, some of this is on us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
customer visibility is great, and we love that it can manage so much data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
emails could still use work. also dislike the way it takes a snapshot of NetSuite invoices rather than syncing directly (in case the invoice changes) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate how easy it is to view all clients and their current outstanding bills Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that it can be difficult to sort for specific customers on the lefthand side view Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how user friendly Yaypay is not only for me as the A/R analyst, but for our clients. They are able to review open and closed invoices while also being able to reference payments and download invoice copies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that there isn't an option for our clients to download their statements in Excel format. We get a lot of emails about that and have to end up going in and manually pulling for the client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is extremely easy to navigate and maintain month to month. We're able to easily tweak the email templates we've created from month to month, or if any information has changed. I'm able to see my aging, run reports, send invoices and contact clients on one screen which is extremely helpful to not have to jump between screens and systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest issue that I run into with YayPay is it is extremely slow at times. When downloading or uploading the sales mapping it will often time out or sit not doing anything leaving you to wonder if anything happened or is happening at all. We've also found that getting in touch with support can take some time and once our account manager left the organization we were not assigned a new one to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
YayPay has a very user friendly interface and setup of the workflow is relatively painless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integrations with the YayPay need more variety or partners that are more willing to work with the end user. We are having difficulty partnering with any of them due to their terms and their unwillingness to negotiate. Also, if possible to create more robust reporting or data that can be used to maybe better our processes. The biggest peeve however is the relationship partners that are integrated and would hopefully like more options in the future or at least work with us and possibly request YayPay to integrate. I love that I can edit what I want to see when pulling my collections report, the best part is being able to see clearly who is late, what they're missing, who needs a phone call or email. Being able to easily leave notes on customers accounts has made finding their collection status as well. Once exported to excel you're able to format the cells how you want to see them, collections 1-30, 30-60 etc all broken down and easier to see instead of just manually having to track all of the information. Also, being able to edit a contact has been a great option, sometimes customers dont give the correct information or a 1800 number - but you can go ahead and make additions to their profile while viewing their collections quite easily by clicking the little pencil. I should also mention that I was given access, and no training - and guess what - I didnt even need the training, this application is so easy to use any person with a collections or accounting background should have no problem picking it up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I found an error with was when I was trying to view the column where it was last "touched" and it wouldnt populate into excel - there are still a few bugs but nothing that makes the system unusable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The new 2020 updates allow you to get a full Aging on the Master client page. The ability to put in a main note on the first screen allows one to see the particulars of an account with out going through pages and pages of notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The preset reminder letters still do not reflect of an invoice has been disputed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's an attractive dashboard with a lot of good features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no connector to Oracle which has made the implementation process incredibly painful. We have been in the implementation process for over 9 months with no end in site. The issues we have are mostly with reliability. We wrote the code to provide the data files but they do not seem to load regularly for no apparent reason causing the balances to be off. We have asked to speak to other YayPay customers that are on the same ERP but were told there aren't any.
- Support has been good at times and painfully slow at other times.
- We had to provide an FTP site for YayPay. This is a first as usually companies provide the FTP site.
- Customers we send statements through YayPay to don't have to login, which is a security issue as that link can be sent to anyone. With sensitive pricing information on the invoices this is not ideal. I think they are coming up with a solution to this but its not active yet.
-YayPay does not keep an archive of data loaded from the FTP. This would be fine if the system was reliable enough to not need that file at a later time. Since it is not reliable for us we had to create our own archive which is not ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI is nice and it makes the data very easy to review and look at all the aging buckets. Yaypay is able to predict the time period it usually takes a customer to pay - this information is helpful as an AR analyst because if a customer typically pays by 70 days, we would know near the 65th day or so that we can expect to receive payment in the next couple days or so. In addition, the customer service we have received has been very attentive and prompt - always a plus! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think that it would be useful if the reporting available was a little more high level. You are able to create aging reports filtered by AR Specialist or by the aging bucket, however we like to view the trend of the AR collections over time from week to week and this was not a report that was available to us. Another improvement area could be the credit card interface, while it does serve its purpose of allowing customers to pay via CC, our processes require a lot more capabilities than the interface has. I really enjoy being able to work with Greg on developing features that can benefit our collectors here at LMI. Our weekly meetings have allowed us to develop a relationship and describe our difficulties. Greg has done a great job moving forward with the implementation of our specific needs. Although we wish that development could move quicker, we are certainly feeling heard as a customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think there is room for improvement with the product, I think our specific needs are being address, but currently we see potential for a lot of enhancements. Overall performance and speed could definitely see some progress. YayPay Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is user-friendly and learning curve light. There are predictive / AI components which are very helpful such as predicting late payment trends. The collection workflows offer plenty of flexibility. The multi-instance is another advantage for companies with subsidiaries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration with Sage 100 is CSV integration only which required us to setup a FTP server and map the data on our end.
However, we were able to work this out and the support was extremely responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Yaypay is you can "set it and forget it". We established our collection workflows, turned them on and watched our receivables improve significantly. The fact that all of our customers, globally are on a standardized collections strategy has helped align us regionally and set expectations across the company on the importance of timely collections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've had some adoption issues with our collectors because they want to be able to apply one note across multiple invoices and feel that having to tag each invoice individually is inefficient. We've also had some issues where we have multiple currencies under on subsidiary (this is more our problem but Yaypay did not have the flexibility to resolve it). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Workflows are great. It assists collectors with their day-to-day tasks. This allows for better visibility on collection efforts, staying on top of accounts and ensuring that adequate attention is given to delinquent accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes their backend changes and we do not get communicated about the changes. This causes delays in uploads to the portal. Although, Yaypay has been very eager to hashout these issues, it continues to be a challenge keeping up with the backend changes without a headsup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Yaypay is constantly looking for ways to add features to make their product more useful to customers. Customer statements and portals are great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like that you cannot remove a promise to pay once submitted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
YayPay continues to innovate and give our company a clear view of open A/R. We are able to effectively communicate with our clients regarding their past due invoices, and using the easy to customize workflows we can easily create dunning communications that are specific to a selected cohort of clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have had some issues in the past with uploading data to YayPay through a CSV, it can be a bit laggy and sometimes we have to make multiple attempts, but their team is generally quick to respond and assist if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the simplicity and usability of the tool. The search function helps to quickly locate past invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest problem we have here is not all of our data is in the tool. This means that it's usually used as a backup resource to track down an invoice, but not always reliable (not an issue with YayPay). Hopefully we will get there soon to have everything in a centralized location so we can always find the invoice we need in YayPay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
