Prior to integrating Xref into our hiring process, we were relying on manual reference checks which were both time consuming, and not well aligned between locations or from an HR perspective. We now have standardized reference check processes across all of our business locations and positions, have the ability to alter questions based on the role, and have saved hours for our hiring managers who no longer lose time on manual tasks that are done more efficiently by Xref. It is easy to submit and send the reference details from a candidate perspective. From a recruitment perspective, it saves a lot of time compared to verbal references. It can be hard to have a candidate resubmit a reference. We often get emails when someone is unobtainable and the candidate wants to submit an additional reference, which means we have to go to the support team and request access. I use Xref mainly for reference checking and hiring manager surveys through Pulse. It significantly speeds up the reference checking process and helps us determine when someone is faking a reference, resulting in a higher quality of candidate. What do you dislike about Xref? I find the sales reps unresponsive. The platform itself is great, but anytime I have a question, my sales rep ignores me. I would appreciate faster responses; for instance, I emailed a week ago and still haven't received a reply. It's challenging to get in touch with them for demos. I love that Xref integrates with our applicant tracking system, it's quick and easy for us to use as recruiters but also easy for candidates and referees to use. It is a very reliable system and hardly ever have any technical issues but if we ever have questions the support team are very fast at answering any questions.
