"Easy to Start, Highly Customizable—Great Value with Workzone"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workzone?

Workzone is easy to use at a basic level, so my team and I were able to get started quickly with little to no training. At the same time, it offers plenty of customizations and advanced features, which makes it feel robust. There’s a lot you can tailor, and I’ve been able to find workarounds that bring Workzone more in line with our internal processes and performance needs.

It also connects and integrates with many other apps and services, and it has a user-friendly AI component as well. I appreciate the ongoing support that’s available, along with the option to be onboarded or trained as new features roll out.

Overall, it’s helped improve our team’s performance and made it easier to dig in and see where our processes can be streamlined. In the end, you get a lot of bang for your buck with WorkZone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workzone?

Occasionally, I can’t find a workaround or get the system to behave the way I want, but that’s very rare. Most of the time, there’s a workaround available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward Approvals and Easy Setup for Documenting Work Files"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workzone?

The custom list of tactics was helpful and easy to set up. I liked the approval options, simple to use and easy for both those submitting work for approval and those approving the work. The user interface is pretty strightforward, and it's a good tool for documenting working files for later reference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workzone?

It can be difficult to find projects if you have limited details about them, but not their "Workzone Project Number." It can require some searching and looking within the project itself to find the file you're looking for. For using it as a repository for say, brand standards and templates, it's pretty straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workzone Keeps Everything Centralized with Clear Tracking, Markups, and Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workzone?

What I like best about Workzone is that it keeps everything in one place. All project files, communication, and requests are centralized, so nothing gets lost in emails. The real-time project tracking gives our team clear visibility into the status of every project, making it easy to stay on schedule and identify bottlenecks. I also really like the markup feature, which streamlines the review process by allowing feedback directly on creative files. Finally, the reporting tools provide valuable insights into workload, project progress, and team performance, helping us make informed decisions and continuously improve our processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workzone?

One of my biggest frustrations is the lack of an out-of-office feature. When someone is away, there's no built-in way to automatically notify requesters or reassign work, which can create confusion and delays. I also find that Workzone rolls out updates and interface changes fairly frequently. While improvements are appreciated, the frequent changes can disrupt established workflows and require users to continually adjust to new layouts or features. "All Projects, Tasks, and Deadlines in One Clear Place"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workzone?

You can keep projects, tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities in one place instead of relying on emails, notes, and separate documents. It also provides a clear picture of what is done, what needs to be done, and who needs to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workzone?

It can seem overwhelming to start but with training it becomes manageable. It is only as good as the people who use it, if other people aren't using it, it doesn't work well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workzone: User-Friendly, Feature-Rich, and Powered by a Helpful Template Library"
5/5
What do you like best about Workzone?

Workzone is incredibly user friendly and is constantly adding new features that enhance it's use. The template library was a huge help! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workzone?

What I dislike most is that I can’t further break apart the project list within a workspace. I prefer to view my projects as a list, and while I use colorful category tags to help differentiate them, it would still be helpful to create some visual separation. When there are multiple smaller projects, the list starts to feel crowded and harder to scan quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and User-Friendly with Fantastic Tools"
5/5
What do you like best about Workzone?

I like how Workzone keeps our product organized and allows us to cross-reference brands. The approval feature is by far the most used in our system, and I find the markup tool fantastic because it eliminates the need for alternative programs. It's easy to use; I can just snap a picture, use the markup tool to specify an area, and add notes for discussion. All the history lives there, which is really convenient. Workzone's initial setup was quite simple and didn't take long to understand, making it user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workzone?

When it comes to work layout and imaging, I find it could be better. It'd be nice to have a feature where you can drop multiple images for multiple views without having to resort to an alternative platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workzone Keeps Multi-Stage Projects Organized and Deadlines on Track"
5/5
What do you like best about Workzone?

I don’t have experience setting up assignments in Workzone, but as a regular team user, I’ve found it to be a great system for organizing multiple, multi-stage projects and staying on track with my deadlines. I also use the chat feature regularly to communicate with other team members. This helps us address any updates or problems with tasks and also keeps a log of those problems and resolutions so all team members are on the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workzone?

When I check off a task that's completed, it disappears from my to-do list, and I have to go hunting for it. It might be nice to have a tab to click on recently completed assignments, so that I can go back and address any issues that may come up after task completion. "Clear Task Tracking with Helpful Data Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Workzone?

It's a clear, easy way to assign tasks, see where people are in the process, and the data is also super helpful in showing how frequently we get requests and how fast we get them done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workzone?

I think I need more training on the automation side for linking requests. Some things are not 100% working, but I believe that's a me error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Collaboration Tool, Needs Tuning Flexibility"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Workzone?

I like that Workzone helps us eliminate the need for constant emails and Teams messages, allowing for smoother client communication and teamwork collaboration. As the sole visual designer, it's helpful that all information, assets, and digital files are together in one place, making it easier to upload documents, copy, specific files, images, or videos we need for projects. This centralization improves overall collaboration with our web developers and director of communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workzone?

Some things that don't work as well for us within our team with Workzone is probably the limited capabilities of fine-tuning hours or days. You have to know the exact math or decimal to put it in for one hour, for example. I wish I could just type in "1 hr" or "1 day" and it would work, but I know the default is set to one day. So that's something I've had to get used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
