**What do you like best about Worklava?**

I really like Worklava's intuitive employee self-service functionality, which is perfect for our project-focused digital commerce team. Its standout feature for me is the streamlined mobile-friendly time entry and leave request system. It lets me quickly record project hours and submit leave requests from anywhere, with the ability to monitor approval status in real time. I used to compile hours manually in spreadsheets and send separate emails for time off, which often resulted in payroll inconsistencies. Now, I don't have to worry about forgetting to log billable hours, and I can see immediately how my time-off plans impact upcoming timelines. Additionally, I highly value Worklava's built-in document storage feature. All my compliance training and platform certification documents are centrally stored, allowing management to access these records without repeatedly asking me for file copies. By consolidating everything in one location, Worklava significantly cuts down the time spent on routine administrative tasks, allowing me to focus on my core responsibilities of building customized insurance storefronts and maintaining reliable online enrollment experiences for our clients.

**What do you dislike about Worklava?**

There are two main areas of Worklava that feel clunky and regularly slow me down during my busy workday, especially since most of my deep work is focused on building and configuring insurance storefronts in Optimizely Configured Commerce. First, the mobile document navigation experience is really inefficient. I’m often in client calls or working remotely, and I frequently need to quickly pull up my compliance training certificates and professional qualification documents for verification. Right now, finding and opening files on Worklava’s mobile view takes multiple clicks, PDF previews load slowly, and I can’t view documents instantly without downloading them first. On top of that, there’s no option to pin my most important, frequently used credentials to the front of my dashboard. This forces me to scroll through full folders every single time, which is awkward and unprofessional during live client meetings. Second, the notification system is far too basic and lacks customizable controls. All alerts get grouped into one generic feed with no priority filtering. Critical updates like leave request approvals, document review feedback, and timesheet reminders get buried under random company-wide announcements and general admin messages. When I’m focused on detailed Optimizely configuration, building customer segments, or testing policy enrollment flows, I don’t check my phone constantly. That means I can easily miss time-sensitive notifications, which causes small delays in my HR workflows. I wish I could mute non-urgent alerts separately and turn on exclusive push notifications for work-critical updates. Overall, these mobile and notification limitations create unnecessary, repetitive small frustrations that add extra admin friction to my daily workflow.

**What problems is Worklava solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worklava solves all the messy, scattered manual HR problems that used to waste a ton of my time and create avoidable errors for our small implementation team. Before we switched to Worklava, all our time tracking, leave requests, and compliance document management was spread across Excel sheets, endless email threads, and random shared drive folders. As a Digital Commerce Implementation Lead, my schedule is super dynamic—juggling client meetings, Optimizely storefront builds, product configuration, and enrollment flow testing every single day. It was so easy to forget to log billable project hours, miss leave approval follow-ups, or lose track of updated training documents. I can log my daily project hours, submit time-off requests, and track approval statuses anytime, anywhere, which eliminates messy manual spreadsheets and cuts down payroll errors completely. By streamlining these repetitive HR admin tasks, Worklava removes huge amounts of workflow friction. I no longer have to pause my core technical work to chase emails or fix messy paperwork. This lets me stay fully focused on building customized, high-quality insurance storefronts and delivering smooth digital commerce experiences for our clients every day.
