Honest answer, it was mostly not the tool. What broke the first-campaign curse for us was leadership visibly funding and shipping a few ideas early, once people saw a submission become a real change, they kept coming back, and no platform does that part for you. Where the tool helped was fitting into the workday and giving leaders something to act on. Edison365 sitting inside Microsoft 365 and Teams meant ideas came in where people already worked, and its reporting gave leadership the visibility to back ideas rather than guess, which kept the loop alive. HYPE is the other one worth a look, reviewers credit its customer success team with keeping the program moving after launch so it feels real rather than performative. So I'd weight process and follow-through first, pick a tool that lives where your people already are, and treat launch features last.
