## WORKERBASE Reviews
  ### 1. An excellent platform with lots of flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon H. | Technical lead for connected factories, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2025

**What do you like best about WORKERBASE?**

The platform is flexible enough to meet the demands of a research environment, and the team are highly skilled in developing specific functionality. Our use cases were very specific and required integration with an existing complex system, and the workerbase team were able to achieve this within the project timeframe. The cloud deployment meant that the requirement for support from our IT team was minimal, and updates and patches could be applied rapidly.

Their smart watches have enabled us to demonstrate new ways for operators to interact with eachother and the manufacturing execution system (MES). The assignment of roles and access was easy, and where we needed support from the workerbase team, it was readily available. The hardware itself has proven to be a poerful tool, minimising the requirement for operators to type information manually and using scanner instead.

**What do you dislike about WORKERBASE?**

During our project, we reached the limits of what information could be shown to operators through the workerbase interface. Although the simplified view of tasks is good for day-to-day activities, our operators require more information to carry out more complex operations.

**What problems is WORKERBASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workerbase has enabled us to connect operators directly so that they can request assistance from other operators of specific roles, or send safety information to the team in a certain work area. We have also explored using workerbase to deliver work instructions from a manufacturing execution system that is already deployed on-site. The integration of workerbase with this existing system has proven beneficial in allowing operators to read instructions without walking to a terminal, but there are limitations to what tasks can be performed using this method.

  ### 2. Empowering Users with Workerbase: A Game-Changer for Non-Programmers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about WORKERBASE?**

I took part in a two-day training at the Workerbase office in Munich to get started with their SRM platform. Setting up the account and getting access was pretty quick — took less than an hour. I was in a group of 9 people, none of us had used SRM before, but we managed to get going pretty fast. After just a few hours, we had our first use case running. It wasn't super intuitive at first, but once someone showed us how it works, it clicked.

The training is clearly aimed at people without a programming background, which was great. With some support, we got a good handle on the basics. A week after the training, a few of us already started building actual use cases for our production teams, sometimes with help from more experienced users. Things like reading data from SQL servers still needed a bit of help, but overall it was doable.

The platform works with what they call "software bricks" — like blocks you can connect together to build stuff (e.g. instructions, text input, database stuff). You don’t need to code, which is great for people like me. The way the training was structured helped a lot, step by step, so we could try things out directly.

One thing I found tricky at the beginning was understanding where the platform could actually be useful. But our trainer, Lorenzo, was super helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all questions and gave us space to explore stuff on our own, which made the training more hands-on and fun.

The training definitely met our expectations. We wanted to learn how to use SRM to improve our processes — and we already built use cases shortly after. Some examples were milk run coordination, sending error messages to workers, or monitoring tool counters. The system also works well as a connector between different tools — we used it for magazine tracking and triggering transport orders automatically. In our team, SRM helps us get data from different sources more easily and use it in a practical way.

I don’t have any exact numbers, but the API stuff we learned in training saved us time and likely money, compared to paying for external development. Also, the tool monitoring helps with planning — it warns us early before tools wear out, which is really useful.

All in all, I’d definitely recommend the training. I'd give it a 10. It really helps you get started with the platform, even without coding skills. The instructors knew their stuff and were easy to talk to. After the sessions, I even had a good chat with Lorenzo about the company and their background — interesting stuff. The office vibe was also relaxed and friendly, which made it easier to learn.

Been using SRM for about two weeks now and looking forward to building more use cases with it.

**What do you dislike about WORKERBASE?**

The platform’s pretty easy to use overall, but setting up the first use cases wasn’t super intuitive at the beginning. Some things weren’t immediately clear, especially if you’re new to it, and it helped to have someone explain how it all fits together. Luckily, the support during the training was great and really helped us get past those first hurdles.

**What problems is WORKERBASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workerbase is helping us with a bunch of day-to-day challenges. Here’s what it’s been useful for so far:

 - Finding the right info: We’ve got tons of systems, dashboards, and databases, and it’s usually a mess trying to figure out where stuff is. Workerbase makes that way easier by pulling everything into one place. It saves us time because we’re not constantly digging through different tools to find what we need.

 - Keeping operations on track: We use it for things like organizing milk runs and keeping an eye on tool usage. It gives us real-time error messages and alerts, which helps fix stuff before it becomes a bigger problem. That alone helps avoid a lot of stress and keeps everything moving smoothly.

 - Connecting different systems: Workerbase works like a bridge between other tools we use. For example, it helps us track magazines and automatically trigger transport jobs. That kind of automation cuts down on manual work and speeds things up.

 - Letting non-tech people build stuff: One of the best parts is that you don’t need to be a developer to use it. With these “software bricks,” you just drag and drop things to build your own workflows or apps. It’s pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it, and it’s cool to be able to build useful stuff without writing code.

 - Making better decisions: Since all the data is in one place, it’s easier to understand what’s going on and make smart calls quickly. That’s been a big help in keeping things efficient.

 - In short, it’s made my job easier — I can find info faster, stay on top of processes, and even build tools that help the team without needing IT to step in every time.

  ### 3. Positive experiences with Workerbase

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clemens B. | Technologieexperte Intralogistik, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2025

**What do you like best about WORKERBASE?**

What I like most about SRM Workerbase is the intuitive user interface, which allows us to work quickly and efficiently. The advantages of using Workerbase include flexible project management tools, real-time disruption capture, seamless team communication, and the ability to optimize workflows, all of which lead to a significant increase in productivity. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent customer support, which is quick and competent in assisting with questions and problems, as well as the good collaboration within the team, which is facilitated by the software's features.

**What do you dislike about WORKERBASE?**

A common disadvantage of such tools is the challenge of rapid user acceptance, which is often due to the need for employees to adapt to new systems and ways of working. However, this is less about SRM Workerbase itself and more a typical problem that can occur when introducing new software solutions in companies.

**What problems is WORKERBASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A problem that SRM Workerbase effectively solves is the real-time detection of workflow disruptions. The software immediately notifies employees of any issues that arise, allowing them to quickly respond and resolve the disruption. If necessary, an escalation occurs to ensure that critical issues are addressed promptly. Furthermore, sustainable problem documentation enables comprehensive analysis and tracking of disruptions, which helps to prevent future problems and further increase team efficiency.

  ### 4. Great overall experience and UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about WORKERBASE?**

I have nothing to dislike so far. We get the best of service from these guys.

**What problems is WORKERBASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WORKERBASE is our implemented system to make sure that our production gets the right information, it shows bills of material, work instructions, control points. It runs all serial numbers via scanning and when all tasks and control points are checked it reports the serial number as finished in our back office system.

  ### 5. Great tool with a big future for our company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Floris L. | Projectmanager Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about WORKERBASE?**

The thing I like the most about Workerbase is the ease of development of custom tailored applications specific for our needs.

**What do you dislike about WORKERBASE?**

A small downside is that when we started using the applications more intensively, our production became dependable of the apps. So in the rare occation that the apps or connections between Workerbase and SAP are down, we needed to adapt very fast to not let our production be effected too much.

**What problems is WORKERBASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had no solution for logging the length and the reasons behind production stops. By implementing the Workerbase system in our production line and connecting it to SAP and the control unit of our production line we have solved this problem. This means we now have a dashboard where we can analyse our production stops on a daily basis as a tool for continuous improvement.

  ### 6. Great software for fast and good results

**What do you like best about WORKERBASE?**

The handling in the creation of apps. With just a few clicks, you have already created or quickly modified an app to suit your needs. Additionally, the support from Workerbase and the approach to implementing apps is very efficient.

**What do you dislike about WORKERBASE?**

Special layouts must be developed using HTML. These could be included in the standard in the future.

**What problems is WORKERBASE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our central systems, such as the ERP or MES, are not linked for every use case and do not have a mobile application. With Workerbase, we succeed in linking processes across system boundaries in a mobile app and making this available to our shop floor employees.

  ### 8. Seamless implementation and user experience
