"Quality, easy to implement animations"
What do you like best about Velocity.js?

For a front end developer looking for a stand-alone animation library, this is the best option. It can interop with JQuery (and other front end frameworks) very nicely, and heavily reduces complexity for animation-heavy projects like social hubs and complex widgets. When you do not want to spend hours debugging widget animations, it is nice knowing velocity will just handle it for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velocity.js?

I wish there were multiple installation candidates. Compartmentalized libs that offer a single animation tool would make velocity JS usage less painful on smaller widgets. While velocity supports nearly every front end framework on the block, some frameworks already offer their own in-house animation library that is usually preferred over velocity. "Fun tool for motion in web pages"
What do you like best about Velocity.js?

Velocity.js is probably the best standalone tool for handling animation and tweening in webpages. Lots of cool features and really easy to get running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velocity.js?

Most of these really cool features aren't practical for most situations. This is very fun for playing around, but with more sites moving toward static simplicity, this seems more like a fun weekend experiment for casual users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Animation so easy, grandma could do it!"
What do you like best about Velocity.js?

Animating and adjusting animations is so simple. I don't have to think about how to make things move! Developers can pick up the tooling quickly. We don't have to worry about additional requirements and that is really nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velocity.js?

The animation tooling is very robust, it can be challenging to pick up some of the interfaces in more complex animations, but I think it is all attributed to a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
