I can ask the team for help anytime of the week or day. I trust my maintenance crew - now I can also trust that I won't forget to let them know about issues when they come up.

Is there an app? I don't really know, and that might be useful when an issue presents itself and I'm away from my desk.

Allows me to communicate maintenance issues and informs me when they have been resolved.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

It is incredibly user-friendly.  The techs that work for the team have taken to the new system with very little pushback. They have become self-taught in the system in a short period.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

We have just begun using the system, so nothing stands out to the team as a dislike. We believe it would be helpful if the assets were set up to model the facility's process flow. This would help the operations personnel better locate what they may be looking for in the system.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset information is at the fingertips of the technicians. Clear communications for what is scheduled to be completed. Building an archive that is and will be accessible for a long time to come.

Upkeep is very easy to use, simple to send pics with the work order. I really like this feature, it helps the maintenance department to know exactly what needs to be fixed.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I haven't found anything yet but I dislike about the app.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having to use paper, and potentially having that paper lost. This app allows it to go right to the maintenance guys.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

I love the QR Code feature. It allows us to keep things simple in a fast-paced environment. I love how quick and responsive customer service is. The customization is my favorite, it allows us to use UpKeep to our needs. The online training videos to navigate are also beneficial.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I wish parts had generated QR Codes as assets do. We have QR Codes but they are not explicitly labeled. The isn't a sensor available through Edge that would fit our needs. However, we did have an in-depth discussion with one of the customer service representatives. I wish I had known more about the analytics option. I feel like that would benefit our company.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UpKeep has made our project management incredible. It's organized, user friendly and populates when our inventory is low. Online training videos pin exactly what I need help with. Weekly webinars are available, and anyone can attend. It is an all-in-one stop for everything we need to manage our ever-growing projects. I am more than pleased with our overall experience.

The interface is easy to use and it works on multiple platforms PC, Mac, smartphone.  Easy to reorganize assets and parent assets.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

No defined or signficant price breaks for groups of paid user licenses - adding users are at a fixed price per year, but any discounts for larger groups of paid users requires working with their sales team - it would be easier if group discounts were built into the self-activation options.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central storage of maintenance records and new asset documentation.  Scheduled preventive maintenance reminders for material handling equipment.

The best things about upkeep is the responsive time of the system. Uploading data and creating work orders is remarkably fast.

The constant updates that alter the interface from time to time. Occasionally the system will glitch and it gets frustrating to get work while the glitches are present.

The management and organization of maintenance efficiency. The ability to manage and optimize the PMs has been crucial to the performance of our maintenance department. Upkeep has allowed us to optimize our mechanics by giving them a organized work flow system.

I like how upkeep keeps a record of the equipment piece by piece and it is easy to find each piece

It can be a little hard to navigate at times but the more I use it the easier to find what I am looking for

We have technicians out in the field 24 hours a day it is easy for them to report broken equipment as well as allowing us to track what equipment is being used to not being used

Easy to work with.  Someone is always available if you have questions.  Versatile.   Great for more than asset management.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Search only searches by description not product number.  When you copy an item it should never copy the qty on hand.  You cannot merge products.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use for more than just asset tracking.  We are using it to track usage of material for our utility division.  Because this is not something that you bill someone we needed a way to track the usage and be on top of ordering materials as needed.  This is an awesome tool for our needs.

Combining asset management, work order ticketing, and spare parts inventory in one product is very helpful. Our team uses UpKeep almost daily to keep track of equipment repairs.

Slow database query times, though it has improved substantially lately.

Easy to use, a plethera of help topics, fast and reliable customer support.  UPKEEP was extremely easy to integrate into my Company.  It is also user friendly.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

UPKEEP would excel even further with options to search any fields.  Additionally, the ability to rename fields would make it a truly scalable tool!

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None at this time but when I did have issues their Customer Service was very friendly, thorough, professional, and solved my issues quickly!

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

We track all of our equipment maintenance, housekeeping tasks, facility maintenance and groundskeeping tasks very easily. Creating the PM's and triggers to alert us when oil changes or filter chages are due, as well as other cyclical maintenance makes our lives very easy.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I don't like that it holds your search in the work order bar.  For instance if you type in Golf Cart and you find what you are looking for, and delete Golf Cart from the search bar , it puts it back in again so you have to close out of UpKeep and log back in to get it to clear

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps us on track with all aspects of running our resort and maintaining more accurate reports on needs of equipment and spaces

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

We primarily use the Preventive Maintenance system from UpKeep.  Its user interface to set up and generate recurring PM's is easy to use.  I don't review the reports too much, but every once in a while they're helpful to see where my team is at in completing PM's.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I don't particularly like the cost structure.  I would like to have each of my mechancs completing WO's and PM's under their own name, but I would have to pay for each of those accounts and the program cost would go way up.  Instead I have to have my mechanics on a shared account and manually inputting who closed what.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upkeep provides us a reliable way to keep track of recurring PM's in a clear and easy way.  PM's and WO's can be categorized by priority and by area (with a lot of hierarchy) which makes it easy to drill down in different ways.

The ease to configure the data the way you like to see it. Very straight forward with the Databases. UpKeep provides a platform to tie Manuals, pictures, articles and parts lists together.

At times when you have not been in the UpKeep environment it can be a little clunky until you get into the proper train of thought.

At times the filters can be a little difficult to understand.

a central area for all of our manuals, notes, pictures and parts list. The Mechanics can pull the machine up on a tablet or smart phone and have all of the needed data without leaving the machine.

UpKeep is great at helping me keep track of open work orders, costs, and any associated files. It also provide a robust framework for keeping track of various locations and branches.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

There are a lot of potential here, which is to say that some more features are needed for this platform to truly shine. For example, there are no way to sort the files uploaded. Anything related to external vendors are essential glorifed list/spreadsheet as there are no way to actually contact external vendors through the platform currently.

UpKeep is assisting me in tracking the cost and work related to critical assest such as HVAC systems and other facilities related items. The platform has enbled me to keep a closer eye on the performance level of our assets and the cost associated with maintaining them.

Upkeep doesn't try to make things more complicated than they need to be. It's simple enough to allow me to roll out a work order system to a plant of 150 people who are not tech-savvy.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

A number of issues with preventative maintenance and work orders firing correctly when needed. A number of my inspections would disappear or just stop working altogether.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing my maintenance team to focus and stay on task instead of constantly replying to radio calls and relying on memory or writing things down on paper. Also it allowed us to begin our PM program.

- No ability to see PO's that a part was ordered on.

Previous system was an Access database and paper.  It was a benefit to go to a portable system that is relatively easy to use.  PM and WO documention is much improved.

Our techs use to have to return to the office to receive or print work orders.  Closing or reviewing work orders was a chore for admin at the end of each week.  Now we do it all instantly.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Helps keep track of assets and can bolster data collection from work done. I appreciate the customer dashboards and the ability to place parts into work orders.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

It's missing a few features like live exports of custom dashboard data. Custom dashboards are often hard to use and are missing basic query functionality. SQL would be a plus!! Also, missing some external integration points with things like zapier, zendesk, etc.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We would use Jira for our asset tracking and upkeep is a big improvement. But I'd like the ability to more efficiently track locations assigned vs physical locations. We simply use a custom field but imagine an asset that is supposed to be somewhere needs to return to the shop for work. That's the type of scenario we employ.

A few very small things. Upkeep lacks the ability to input employees and assign assetts directly to employees. Easily overcome. It's a minor thing.

The work order request portal is really helpfull for workers to notify us of repaires needed on a day to day basis, and when completed with the asset assianed, the history is saved on upkeep s owe can look back to how it was repaired in the future

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

The webpage can often be really slow and delayed, selecting a work order will take 10-15 seconds,  can't say i have had any crashing issues. Some times simply logging out and back in will fix issues like missing buttons and such but it has not happend in the last few months or so

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly i would say Machine downtime, and keeping records of work done on to specific assets, and keeping record/track of preventitive maintenance schedualing for each asset, eventrually when we get all parts info and location into upkeep it will help us with keeping track of partsso that we know we will always have a part in stock to minimize downtime and have faster repairs

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

UpKeep has helped our organization streamline work requests across a large facility with many different departments and user groups. It has a great import tool, so I can build my asset sheets in a spreadsheet program and then import them into UpKeep when I'm ready; this saves a lot of time for an organization with thousands of assets.

Automated work orders are great for keeping up on preventative maintenance items.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

There are some quality of life features that I would like to see improved which would increase my efficiency when using the platform. Namely, I frequently apply different filters to view each of my technicians' assigned work orders. The pop up screen which displays my list of technicians is needlessly small, so I have to scroll every single time. I also frequently make checklists for work orders. When I enter one task in a checklist and press enter, it doesn't jump to a new task -- I have to go back to my mouse and click on the + button to create a new item. Other platforms I've used, such as Asana, have these small quality of life features which in aggregrate greatly increase the speed at which I can work using the platform.

Enabling our facility users to submit work requests for issues that obstruct their workflow, and keeping a centralized location through which all work requests are processed and then delegated out to our maintenance technicans.

UpKeep has allowed us to streamline operations, both fulfillment services and maintenance.  We have a single portal for our techs that helps them stay organized and focused when in the field.  Our customers enjoy the email to service request feature, allowing them to quickly place a service call without having to find an online portal.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

We need the ability to organize assets by make/model.  We've found a way to "hack" the system but it is inefficient.  We'd like to see more features similar to IncidentIQ that sells into K12 and SLED.

As we've begun developing a service product for our customers, it allows us to assess the profitability of the product.  We're better able to track expenses associated with their service requests.

Very easy to use.
We can create lots of requester accounts which really helps to communicate with a limited maintenance team. Reports/requests don't get missed this way.

When trying to create workorders with a big number of tasks the software becomes really slow during the task creation process.

Our maintenance team works across several sites. When we we're relying on verbal communication issues went unreported because there wasn't always a team member there and then. Nowadays everything gets reported via upkeep.

I liked that you can assign others tasks so that they have to input data after a calibration. Also liked that on the phone you can setup barcodes to be able to scan easily to identify different machines and or tools.

On computer one thing i disliked was how i wasnt able to automatically assign myself for tasks like on the phone i had to manually select myself wich when doing multiple tickets gets a bit time consuming.

Its solving the less need for paperwork everything is digital and can see what has been done to a specific machine in seconds instead of searching through papers.

Easy to use and the works love the interface for recieving and updating work orders.

The pricing and items offered compaired to similar websites aren't the best.  I would also love a better onboarding system for new users.  Currently an admin has to make an account for a new user but if a user creates an account on their own we are stuck until they delete that account.

Everyone is able to see what needs to be done. What is most urgent, what has been done. One of my favorite things is you can track expenses on a particular piece of equipment.

It would be helpful if there was a Spanish version. I don't know if there is one available, is something we need to look into. It's very user-friendly and easy to use for different individuals.

As long as everyone enters the appropriate items into the system, it keeps things from falling through the cracks and getting missed or forgotten about. It has a higher amount of accountability for everyone involved.
