**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

It is an easy-to-use platform for maintenance technicians and for leaders to obtain information on how maintenance management is doing. Is very easy to use all the technical team are in love with it.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

The metrics that can be obtained in some cases are usually deficient, so an additional effort must be made to be able to present results to senior management in following meetings

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to edit the dates of the reports in defined intervals, since before there were only pre-established intervals such as 15 or 30 days. can be able to change periods was a great upgrade.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

When the cost of consumbales for indoor cannabis cultivation is expensive and on the rise it is important to have a tool to track it and help manage our inhouse mantnance crew in order.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

The app can be clunky and the QR print out feature is verylimiting almost not usefull which was one of the main features that attracted me to the program also the label options.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Delivering tasks to my staff and tracking their progress in our multi state org. Also tracking the usage of consumables and purchasing. We also use it for our custodians.

Upkeep is super easy and quick to use to establish a link between the correct departments, enabling a quick response to all maintenance requests.

So far I haven't met with any downsides to using upkeep

Ease of use, phone app allows anyone quickly create Work Order and notify maintenance technician. Once Work Order is completed interested parties are notified via email.

PM scheduling, assets tracking, maintaining break downs and repair records,  Maintenance tech labor tracking.No paper documenation required anymore , making the process more productive.

It is nice having some form of organization to our PM list.

Everything pops back up a year or more later. It could be something on our end, but it is frustrating having work orders pop back up over a year later.

It keeps us on track and notifies us when an operator has a problem.

How easy it is to schedule preventive maintenance tasks and that you can schedule multiple pieces of like equipment together. The app is also crucial tool for technicians out in the field.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I would like to print a list of work orders needed for a month, not just individual work orders. Like a monthly master list.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upkeep is essential in scheduling technicians to repair and calibrate. It helps us keep up with and stay on track per cGMP practices. Preventive maintenance is only one part. It also enables us to keep up with corrective maintenance issues, and track spare parts.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

It allows us to keep a schedule on when we need to do maintenance on our machines. 
Also helps with inventory of our spare parts.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

When you mark one thing as failed on a task list instead of just made a work order for that individual item it will creat individual work orders for everything in our PM. 
Some of our machines have over 50 things to do, so now there's 50 work orders I have to go through just to find the one I needed.

Machine monthly PM's and inventory management.

Software does what we want it to and it works great

They will allow you to add users and upcharge you, but when you're ready to remove users they will tell you that your shit out of luck. Extremely predatory billing practices. 

Software works great but their finance department lacks basic business ethics

Some times I have to clear my cache to unfreeze the program. 
Adding more users costs more then I would like.

Some times the filters of different topics get away from the unexperieced users who are not frequent to the operating.

I like how user friendly the paltform is. The app make it eay to use on the fly, and the trigger system is great for reglatory audits.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Purchase orders via the app for admin user arn't available. I had to really think of something to write for this question.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main benefit of Upkeep for myself is PM scheduling and stores tracking. Being a small company and myself being the admin and end user, it's crucial for myself to trust a system to do these tasks efficiently.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Scheduling preventative maintenance tasks for our machines, tracking what's been worked on, and holding workers accountable for what has/hasn't been properly repaired.  Having a fair picture of what is upcoming and knowing when a machine is expected to be serviced can prevent or reduce a lot of downtime, meaning workers aren't standing around waiting to work.  They are more likely to be able to go home and enjoy time with their families.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Seeing the previously completed work orders should be easier.  Perhaps a link to the last completed order would help.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With nearly 340 different machines in our work environment, it's an impossible task to manually assign and track PM's.  With Upkeep we can schedule regular maintenance without overlapping tasks with other critical jobs.  It also allows us to pre-order parts required for these tasks and helps to organize our warehouse so we know when to order replacement parts.

The way the users are structured.   Need to be an easier way for non administrators to create work orders.

PM history seems lacks clarity sometimes and includes PM's that are sometimes due a year from now.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

I like that its very easy to understand for me and that I can teach the team how to use UpKeep. No software is ever perfect but for what we do its pretty great compare to other softwares we have demo.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I dont like location set up. We need at least more tier of sub location and also wish sub locations were a bit like assets that when you put the location, it only gives you assets in that location. So for example, I select a building then another box you can select the floor, and then you can select the room. The drop down is too long for a requestor to find a location

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are finally organizing and putting on paper everything we do. It tells the story of how much we do and dont do, and what we need to improve on

The easy access and ability to track the progress of a work order.

I cannot access all of the upkeep orders in the system to make sure that I am not submitting a duplicate order.

It is organizing and tracking all of the work orders for a very large property. This is helping out with maintenance and Agronomy crews to get their projects done in an organized and timely manner.

Upkeep has allowed us to centralize our maintence requests. This has allowed us to save time and money and keep track of all requests across five states.

Menu options for admin are buried deep, it is confusing or frustrating to have to find them.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Lots of features available at the moment, really like the granularity.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Some things just don't work the way that you would think they do. Need more consistency between services. E.g. Exporting parts vs. inventory vs. assets can sometimes be different and not all the fields that you export can be re-imported which seems strange. Also no way to revert or bulk delete if you mess up on updating assets and accidentally create 500 (ask me how I know...)

It allows us to track where our assets and parts are and how much inventory we have on hand. Also allows us to track attributes of the assets to make things more clear for others.

This maintenance software is better than M+ or any other software out there.  Is so easy to use and it is going to be so easy to maintain your progress and do download detailed analytical reports with a great dashboard of what is critical to view that your company will need for audit purpose and more. Do not hesitate in trying their software and get to speak to one of their leading software techs.

I really have not gotten to the point of, what I dislike about this software. I am really loving this software right now.

**Recommendations to others considering UpKeep:**

I would say go and request a live demo. tell them everything you are looking for and they will be honest to tell you everything they can possibly fulfill for your maintenance managing system needs.

Audit and easy managing of how work orders go in and out and how easy it is to maintain the assets list and use the scan to upload to the mobile ticket system.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

I can upload all of my assets and keep a digital record of all my assets. I can organize these assets and filter through them to create lists of my assets. I can track the time my mechanics work on each workorder, giving me a better view of how long specific jobs take. I can bill outside companies for our services using this system. I can streamline a work order system and get my assets back up and running as soon as possible.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I am currently figuring out how to set up a timer to see when a piece of equipment was serviced last. Once the service work order is closed with a service category, I need an automatic timer to be created so that a work order is automatically created three months from the date the work order was finished. This will allow for better service logs and more accurate times for serving equipment. I currently have to do this on Excel once I download all the information and then sort the date until I get all the equipment out of a 3-month service window.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving: lost assets, Communication between departments, streamlining workflow, new ways of tracking different operations throughout our company, holding our mechanics responsible to there duties, time tracking for billing purposes.
Benefits: make more transparency.

Ease of flow thru each area of the software. Any of my techs can access information on any asset from anywhere in our facilities, even if they are at a different plant.

The server seems to lose connection or is slow at times. We also had issues with using the software on windows and had to download google chrome for it properly run on a PC.

**Recommendations to others considering UpKeep:**

The flow of the system is amazing. There is a learning curve, especially when you come from a paper background.

Workflow, the tracking asset breakdowns and Pm's, the ability to have all our asset information in one place that all my techs can access is a huge benefit, especially with multiple locations

I like how easy it is for all of my technicians to use. We run our whole department off of Upkeep, and the simplicity of it for my techs is lovely. We use it for parts documentation as well as work orders. Upkeep keeps my team very organized.

I genuinely do not have a lot of dislikes at this time, as I have only used Upkeep for about six months. I do wish that there was a better offline form of Upkeep. I know that sometimes when the wi-fi is low, we have some connection issues.

Upkeep is our way of keeping our maintenance team organized with all of the issues in the facility. We also use it to log all of our parts for restocking purposes. It also allows me as the manager to know when and where all details are being consumed.

Easy to set up and use.  Love the request & approval process.  We were able to customize it so that it fits our business needs perfectly. We currently use the starter plan and the preventative maintenance feature is well worth the upgrade.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Learning to schedule the preventative maintenance task was a bit tricky but works fantastic once we figured it out.  Other than that it's a great program for the $$$.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We own/manage multiple self-storage properties and struggled with keeping track of maintenance needs and inventory for each location.  Upkeep allows our Maintenance Staff to see all requests in one location as well as scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to help keep the properties on track.  Upkeep also allows requesters to add comments, and photos as well as assign a low, medium, or high priority tag when uploading tasks.

Nothing really, solid app. Works well! I have no complaints about this app, but if I had to knitpick I guess a dark mode would be awesome for the mobile version. Most of my coulleuage use the desktop version but im always on the go and use the mobile version almost exclusively

From a standpoint of an employee and a more boots on the ground type of employee at that I'd say that it helps me keep track of all request our customers make, my day to day tasks and also any special things that my come down my way from management.

I find it very rudimentary, I suppose the only thing I actually like about it is the ability to create a PDF of the workorder so that I have a physical digital copy of the order. Also, the ability to edit the workorder request is good.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

The information requested doesn't have that many field options and is not tailored for my organization's needs. Example: there's a description box and attachment fields and date of when something needs to be done by, but other than that, no fields for things like equipment needs, various date needs, a place to check for services, products, inventory, etc.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keep track of workorder requests. So if I'm trying to track a job request, I do have something to refer to and show the date of when it was submitted. The email portion of Upkeep stating something is still in progress is good too.

Task scheduling and the ability to set recurring tasks with rescheduling based on a completion date. 
Assigning users for particular jobs and setting priority levels are also very helpful for many uses in our business.
The support team has also been quick and happy to assist with a couple of issues/queries I had in the past.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

The web interface is often glitchy and doesn't perform as well as the app, also it is not possible to change a recurring task from a fixed schedule to reschedule based on completion date, which is often frustrating.

Before the implementation of upkeep, many jobs were done as required or scheduled from memory or written notes; the ability to schedule jobs has increased our efficiency and effectiveness.
