Everything in one (person). **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Regine W. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2022 **What do you like best about Unibox?** I can pick a name and all their emails, and most importantly any attachments we've ever shared, are there in one place. **What do you dislike about Unibox?** Recently, with the M1 pro chip in the mac pro, it keeps crashing for no apparent reason. Also I would love love love it if we could popout a mail message so two windows are open. **Recommendations to others considering Unibox:** If you talk to the same people time and time again, this is the mail box app for keeping the dialogue in focus. **What problems is Unibox solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everything in one place - person-centric, not hidden in threads / titles. I can't imagine life without it and hope the team will pick up the development of this again! ### 2. I enjoy the rich-text editing features and how it fits in with the Mac aesthetic. Threading lets me know what is going on when I may have forgotten. It saves you the step of searching for previous emails from the "client name" or "client email". **What do you dislike about Unibox?** It seems to be lacking a templating feature. Mail-merge built in would be great to have also. I don't always like that the pretty email signatures are hidden, sometimes these have useful info. They can be revealed again w/ just a click. **Recommendations to others considering Unibox:** I think it is good if you have never tried threaded email before, or if you have used other email inboxes that offer a threaded view. **What problems is Unibox solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to leave it running in the menu bar and see when a message comes into my email. It is actually more convenient than using gmail in the browser. Threading lets you keep track of messages from a single person that are separated by weeks or months and have different subject lines. It will give you valuable context. ### 3. It is Graphic User Interface at it's best! Apple should buy this app and make it their default! it uses Gravatars to make your emails visually appealing and easy to sort! it groups emails by the same sender, so you can see past conversations at a glance, or delete the whole thread. So easy to set up, just type in email and password, nad it does the rest!
