**What do you like best about Ubiquity Engage?**

I like Ubiquity Engage because it builds a single unified customer view for our messy, fragmented B2B chemical‑industry contact pool, something we struggled to pull off back when we relied on CentralStationCRM and disjointed spreadsheets, and all of this is achievable without any heavy custom‑coding work. Our 11‑50‑person market‑research team does not have a dedicated CRM administrator, so I really value how intuitive it is to build custom contact segments, apply layered tags, and sort hundreds of chemical‑sector stakeholders for our customer‑satisfaction and product‑demand research projects. The tagging and segmentation functionality has been a game‑changer for our B2B chemical fieldwork. Last quarter, we ran a satisfaction study targeting specialty‑chemical producers, raw‑material suppliers and industrial manufacturing end‑users across Germany. I built separate tag sets to mark contacts by business type, chemical product categories they procure, company size and prior survey participation status. Before we adopted Ubiquity Engage, we managed these respondent groups inside shared spreadsheets. During one tight‑deadline research assignment, a junior analyst mixed plant‑manager contacts from a chemical manufacturer client with unrelated logistics‑sector stakeholders. We were moments away from exporting that flawed list to SurveyLab and sending out irrelevant survey invites, which would have irritated valuable B2B respondents. That risky cross‑group mix‑up almost never happens now. I also appreciate that every member on our research team can view full outreach history and real‑time tag updates on shared contact profiles. Critical project context no longer gets trapped in one teammate’s private notes or local files. This proved extremely helpful when one of our key researchers took unexpected sick leave mid‑project; the rest of us could immediately pick up their contact‑segment prep work without chasing scattered documents. It drastically cuts down our manual list‑sorting time before we prepare CSV exports for survey distribution. All in all, Ubiquity Engage cuts down avoidable outreach mistakes, keeps our suppliers, manufacturers and end‑client contacts well‑organized, and gives our whole team one reliable central source of truth for all our chemical‑industry market‑research work.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquity Engage?**

Ubiquity Engage delivers solid centralized contact management for our B2B chemical research, yet multiple pain points create constant manual overhead and operational risk when we pair it with SurveyLab, LOGYTalks and FindThatLead. Some of the advanced filtering configuration menus remain English‑only, which creates real friction for our junior researchers whose working language is German. I remember one time‑sensitive product‑demand project; a new team member got stuck navigating the complex segment‑builder UI, and we lost nearly half a day of prep time before we could finalize our respondent list for field launch. There is no native integration between Ubiquity Engage and SurveyLab. Every filtered contact segment requires manual CSV export and upload. A few weeks ago, we prepared a list of over 480 German chemical‑plant procurement stakeholders. After export, multiple surnames and company names containing German umlaut characters came through garbled. I nearly imported this corrupted dataset into SurveyLab, and I had to go row‑by‑row cleaning and repairing entries, which pushed back our survey launch window. We also faced heavy extra workload during our migration from CentralStationCRM, since we lack a dedicated CRM admin. When we imported our full legacy CSV dump, hundreds of duplicate contact profiles popped up, because many chemical‑sector stakeholders had multiple email addresses on file. Combined with widespread character‑encoding corruption, I spent almost an entire workday deduplicating and cleaning records. Absent native connectors for LOGYTalks and FindThatLead add further headaches. Respondent contacts sourced from FindThatLead frequently come with incomplete job‑title and sector metadata after import. We manually paste LOGYTalks interview links onto profiles, which creates broken links if meeting records get changed. Because advanced functions lack full German localization, I had to create internal quick‑reference cheat‑sheets for junior staff, which adds extra prep work on top of our regular research deliverables. All these gaps keep us stuck dealing with CSV bugs, missing metadata and broken references across nearly every research cycle.

**What problems is Ubiquity Engage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ubiquity Engage directly solves the chaotic contact silo and mis‑segmentation issues that repeatedly caused embarrassing outreach mistakes for our Chemical Research Hamburg UG team, back when we worked with CentralStationCRM and scattered spreadsheets for our B2B chemical‑industry market‑research projects. Before we implemented this platform, supplier contacts, plant decision‑makers and end‑client stakeholders were stored across old CRM exports, individual team‑member spreadsheets and loose note files. There was no shared single source of truth, and this led to real‑world missteps that damaged our credibility with B2B respondents. Early this year we ran customer‑satisfaction research for a large German specialty‑chemical manufacturer. One of my colleagues maintained screening status and respondent notes inside their personal spreadsheet and never synced those updates to our shared team resources. When they called in sick unexpectedly, another researcher took over the project and worked entirely from outdated records. They sent duplicate survey invitations to some contacts and sent generic rejection emails to multiple participants who had already qualified for deeper follow‑up interviews. Several confused plant managers reached out to complain, and our client expressed frustration over this unprofessional miscommunication. That exact costly siloed‑data error is what Ubiquity Engage helps us prevent. Now every contact’s background, tagging status, outreach history and survey participation records live on shared profiles accessible to our whole research group. When we finish screening respondents or complete preliminary interviews, all findings get logged directly on each profile, so no critical information gets locked away in private files. It makes building segmented groups for SurveyLab survey invitations far faster and much more reliable. To be clear, we still have to handle manual CSV exports and deal with German character‑encoding glitches. Even with those ongoing flaws, Ubiquity Engage eliminates most duplicate‑outreach risks, cuts hours of tedious manual spreadsheet cleanup each month, stabilizes our respondent‑list preparation, and protects the quality of our B2B chemical‑industry market‑research deliverables.
