"Podcast platform ahead of the curve"
What do you like best about Megaphone?

I love the ease of use, but most especially dynamic audio insertion (DAI), which I believe to be the next great innovation for professional podcasts. With DAI, you can add audio segments across your entire catalog instantly. For example, I can sell an advertisement and drop that ad read across all of my episodes. In any given month, half my downloads come from catalog episodes, not newly released ones, and thus now I have a tool to monetize that other half of downloads through DAI.

I also like how easy it is to change show settings and plan out ad slots, and pulling the show over from my previous host was so easy I actually did it by accident. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Megaphone?

There is no real planning functionality for future episodes. I tend to record episodes a couple weeks ahead, and right now I use a Google sheet to plan out my coming weeks, who the guests are, episode titles, tags, sponsors, etc.

I'd love for that functionality to be embedded into Megaphone so my producer and I have a central source of truth for the podcast. I've tried creating draft episodes in Megaphone, but it's a more complicated process than just editing a spreadsheet, so we stopped doing that last year and went back to the spreadsheet. "A solid solution for podcast performance measurement of multiple podcasts."
What do you like best about Megaphone?

Megaphone is a very easy platform to learn and figure out. I love the options for generating specific reports either by show or timeframe. Compared to other podcast performance products, I found Megaphone offered more information about source of listen/downloads and a tiny bit more information on demographics than other podcast measurement platforms.

I think compared to other platforms I trust the reporting more from Megaphone, although they are all using api's from various platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Megaphone?

While Megaphone offers more analytics, I would have loved to have an easier way to track retention rates, and more robust demographic information would be a game-changer. I've yet to find any podcast product that has all you need, but this one is the closest to hitting that mark.

I wish the beautiful charts they have could easily be saved and used in other documents. Dynamic smart charts would also be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
