## About Trello
Trello is a free product that works like the digital version of a sticky note. Capture your to-do's as cards on Trello and organize them into lists to stay on top of your tasks and deadlines no matter the undertaking—from planning a wedding to feeling organized at work. Trello is beloved by millions around the world for its easy-to-use, drag-and-drop interface that helps you visualize exactly what needs to get done. Trello lets you take to-do’s from wherever you’re working and consolidate them all into one place: 📩 If you get an email you need to follow up on, forward it to inbox@app.trello.com and it’ll turn into a Trello card that you can drag-and-drop to the right Trello board and add a due date. 🕸️ Download the Trello browser extension for Chrome to clip any aspect of a webpage as a Trello card. 💬 If you use apps like Slack, Teams, Jira or Loom in the workplace, Trello integrates with each to make it easy to capture content and centralize all your work tasks into a single unified view on Trello. 🤳 With Trello on your phone or tablet, you can use the app to create cards on Trello fast while on-the-go. Add a widget to your home screen on iOS or Android, make an “Add to Inbox” shortcut on iOS, or say “Siri, add a card to Trello.” You’ll find everything saved as new cards in your Trello Inbox, ready to be edited and organized onto any board when you’re ready. Add due dates, comments, checklists, and files to individual cards and use colors, labels, images and stickers to create a beautiful kanban board tailored to your needs. You can also add a Google or Outlook calendar account to easily see your entire schedule inside Trello. Drag-and-drop a Trello card onto the Trello Planner tab to block focus time on your calendar to get that task done. Sign up for free at trello.com/home.

## Trello Reviews
 ### 1. Great Tool for Staying Organized and Aligned

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dev G. | Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Trello’s visual, card-based layout makes task tracking simple and intuitive. It’s easy to see progress at a glance, collaborate with team members, and organize work without a steep learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

For complex projects, Trello can feel a bit limited without paid add-ons. Advanced reporting, dependencies, and detailed workflows are not as strong compared to more robust project management tools.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello solves the problem of unstructured task management by providing a clear, visual way to organize work. It improves visibility, accountability, and collaboration, helping teams stay aligned and complete tasks more efficiently.

 ### 2. Simple to Use, Yet Flexible Enough for Complex Projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian R. | Co-founder / Service Delivery Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

It is simple to use, but you can personalize it to whatever you need, even for complex projects.
The integrations with other environents (such GSpaces) is really easy to set-up.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Sometimes is lacking in personalization, for example, to select exact colors for categories, or stuffs like that. Funcionatlly speaking, there is nothing that impacts the product.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration, project management, asyncronic work, updates, etc.

 ### 3. A simple tool to organize academic, content, and HR tasks effectively.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divya A. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

The board list card layout option makes my college work, internship task and research notes simple to manage in one place. I can create cards for drafts, research topics, and interview notes move them across stages so it is very helpful for structured work. And the best thing is that it is mobile friendly and I can update my tasks on the go.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

The app is too simple for complex projects, I mean when I have to deal with heavy research and HR pipelines it's features feel limited without add ons. It is not ideal for analytics heavy academic works or HR performance tracking unless I use third party plug ins.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello is a simple, visually clean and effective tool for task management, especially useful for content writing schedules, research planning and HR work flow tracking. It is a great easy to use organizer for everyday academic and internship tasks.

 ### 5. Effortless Visual Project Management with Trello

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mukesh K. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

The best thing about Trello is the visual simplicity of the whole Kanban thing. Seriously, anyone can look at a Trello board and immediately know what's going on, who's doing what, and where stuff is stuck. The drag-and-drop feature is super intuitive and makes tracking progress actually satisfying, going from 'To Do' to 'Done'.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

It really doesn't scale well for big projects, to be honest. Once you have a massive board with tons of lists and hundreds of cards, it becomes a vertical scrolling nightmare and you can't see the big picture anymore. It’s hard to find specific tasks.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It mainly solves the project visibility and communication chaos problem. Before, tasks were scattered everywhere-in emails, chat messages, or on random paper. Trello forces you to put everything on the board, so it's the single source of truth for the whole workflow. How it benefits us is that we stop wasting time asking "What's the status?" all day long. We just look at the board, and we immediately know who's doing what and when it's supposed to be done.

 ### 6. Trello Makes Team and Project Organization Smooth and Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariel B. | Interpreter, Airlines/Aviation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Trello has helped me a lot with organizing both my team and myself across numerous projects. With its tools, it has made our work much easier and smoother to manage.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

The only negative thing I can say about Trello is that it sometimes gets very slow, even when my internet connection is good.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped my team a lot by organizing who would do each task and by tracking the progress we made in each area. It also helped me a great deal as the project manager, because I could clearly see what stage of the project we were at and communicate that to our professors.

 ### 7. Intuitive, Easy-to-Use, and Thoroughly Useful

I particularly enjoy the drag-and-drop feature that allows me to move tasks between the boards I've created swiftly. The experience is seamless and adds a level of convenience that makes managing tasks almost effortless. Starting up with Trello was simple and earned a perfect 10 out of 10 in terms of ease of initial setup. Additionally, even though I am using the free version, Trello provides extensive features and functionalities, which means I haven't felt the need to upgrade or pay, further adding to its value. Overall, Trello’s user-friendly nature and robust features have made it an indispensable tool for me.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

One of the simplest issue trackers out there, it focuses on a task board without all the clutter.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

It used to be much simpler. Over time it’s become more complex as it tries to cover more scenarios, and that has taken away from how straightforward and fast it once felt.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task planning and tracking made easy. It’s a simple way to get a quick overview of where things stand and to organize priorities.

 ### 11. One of the first options when you are looking to organize your tasks seriously

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pratik P. | Project Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

The best thing about Trello for me is having everything clear in one place, no matter where it comes from. Before, I was drowning in random reminders—emails, WhatsApp messages, sticky notes, you name it. My first week with Trello felt totally different: every new task just turned into a card, and the board became my map showing me where I stood. I didn’t need manuals or YouTube tutorials—within 10 minutes I already had a flow up and running. On top of that, the AI saves tons of time. For example, I typed “this should be done by Friday,” and it instantly created the card with that due date. Super handy.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

One time a board accidentally went public because the permissions weren’t set up right. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it made me realize how important those settings are if you care about security.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I remember a situation where our campaign got stuck because the copy hadn’t been legally approved. With the board, it only took seconds to see that was the bottleneck, and we fixed it the same day. That level of visibility is what convinced me to stick with the tool. Trello offers us a simple and flexible visual control panel that anyone can understand in minutes. And now, with the AI that organizes, summarizes and suggests in the background, it gives us that vision that is much smarter.

Many add-ons, or power ups are hidden behind paywalls. While I understand that they require to be paid, however I had to scrap some workflows as they were made using power ups that added me to a free version and suddenly stopping as I wasn't fully aware that it was a paid add-on

 ### 20. Effortless Task Management with Instant Set-Up

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonali G. | Director Of Engineering, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I love Trello’s ease of use which eliminates the need for lengthy demo videos or onboarding sessions. I can simply create boards and custom queues effortlessly, ensuring a quick setup process. The drag and drop functionality for managing cards is particularly intuitive and enhances usability, allowing developers and designers to swiftly update task statuses. I also value Trello’s capability to organize tasks, providing me with transparency across different boards. This feature is crucial for viewing team progress and facilitating collaboration on each card. Furthermore, the integration with Slack that we attempted a couple of years ago was a significant value addition, enhancing the productivity of both tools when used together. The initial setup experience with Trello was seamless, which contrasts sharply with other complex planning tools that often complicate the collaborative process. Trello avoids these pitfalls, ensuring that its purpose to facilitate collaboration is fully realized without additional complexity.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I find it challenging that when the queue has many cards, it becomes cluttered and difficult to search for a specific card. This makes managing a high volume of tasks cumbersome. Additionally, when we integrated Trello with Slack previously, the lack of customization options for notifications made it overwhelming to manage, as the notifications became excessive.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trello to easily track and organize tasks across multiple teams and boards, enhancing transparency and collaboration without needing complex onboarding. Its intuitive setup and functionality, like drag-and-drop, streamline task management and updates.

 ### 21. My experience with the new Trello

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberto C. | Manager, Consumer Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Now I can capture my to-dos wherever they arise: whether it's a Slack message, an email, even an idea on the fly. I add it directly to the Trello Inbox. I can even use Siri to say something like, Hey Siri, add Review Budget to Trello, and voilà, it's there, ready for me. I can also simply forward an email to inbox@app.trello.com and it becomes a card.

The most magical thing is that Trello now uses artificial intelligence to extract due dates, priorities, and specific tasks from the raw text I send. So I don't have to worry about formatting or labeling everything manually.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

My boards become a mess: thousands of cards, endless lists, horizontal board… they become difficult to navigate and manage.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Trello we have been able to lighten the load of our work as we focus on completing pending tasks that are about to expire, plus I can schedule the calendar to schedule meetings and know important days to come.

 ### 22. My Go To tool for project tracking

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I really appreciate how visual and intuitive Trello is. The boards and cards make it very clear to see what’s in progress, what’s pending, and what’s already done. I never needed a manual to get started—it just makes sense right away.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

As projects grow larger, the boards can become somewhat overwhelming to navigate. Additionally, while some advanced features are restricted to paid plans, the free version still provides most of the essential tools needed.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello makes it easy for me to keep all my projects organized in a single location. I no longer have to deal with endless email threads or worry about missing tasks—by simply looking at the board, I can immediately see the status of everything. It saves me time, minimizes confusion, and ensures that the entire team stays aligned.

It has all the features you need to track project progress and assign tasks to team members. What's more, I really like the mobile app — it's so convenient that I can check everything with just one click.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I can't find anything there. It's difficult to use when your projects become more complex because there is no backlog. I think it's simply not a tool for complex projects.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello helps to organise all planned tasks in one place. It's really easy to use, so no training is required.

Additionally, Trello's integrations with tools like Slack and Google Drive enhance its functionality and connectivity with other systems we use.
