It keeps on emailing to update if you forget to stop the timer and the appearance is very clear and easy to understand. It can easily be accessible from mobile or PC and provides idle time detection, tracking reminders, and some other features like this which is very helpful for our business. **What do you dislike about Toggl Track?** The free version does not have a lot of features to use as compared to the paid version. In reports, no entries can be grouped by date and they have limitations in the number of users who can work in a team. You're able to easily edit timestamps which is super important because it's easy to forget to log a task as it's happening, but you can go back and enter it in later. **What do you dislike about Toggl Track?** A bit tedious to track everything I do. Constantly checking in on the app every time I change tasks is time consuming. As a middle manager, I'm constantly changing between coaching/training/micro managing/meetings/listening to calls/putting out fires etc it's a lot of effort and hard to remember to log into the app **What problems is Toggl Track solving and how is that benefiting you?** Understanding what tasks I accidentally prioritize instead of high value tasks/reporting for my boss to understand where they can help/how my day is split. It's application is streamlined, saving time and hassle. In fact, Toggl's zen-like design and application makes it a standout in an internet economy bloated with features and fluff to ensure your eyes are glued to a program or webpages' X, Y, and Z. Not so with Toggl, which after two or three clicks can simply run in the background as it's suppose to. And that design philosophy clearly carries over to Toggl's business practices. Computer programs have an undeniable presence in my work; some barrage me with emails, notifications, and persist that they be installed as a widget, app, or .exe on my browser, desktop, or elsewhere. If Toggl has such aspirations, it goes about them quietly, making my life much easier, and I appreciate that greatly. **What do you dislike about Toggl Track?** When creating an account, users in Taiwan have to implicitly take a political stance on whether or not they believe Taiwan is a part of China. This is a contentious issue that Toggl's staff is likely unequipped to navigate, like so many other foreign companies, but such is the nature of running a business. I am uncertain as to Toggl's client base in the People's Republic of China, but I know the program is used quite regularly throughout ROC (Taiwan), and while Toggl won't lose any business with Taiwan due to the pros of its use outweighing the cons, if an entire country-worth of customers feel they have been wronged by the company, it deserves to be mentioned—regardless of timezone standards. Also, the value of premium features is relatively opaque. It is possible I have missed promotional emails offering trial periods (the lack of emails being something I actually like about Toggl), but company-made official YouTube tutorials/showcases (not quite ads, per se) would be greatly appreciated. **Recommendations to others considering Toggl Track:** Consider whether Toggl suits your clients needs. If yes, there really is no reason not to use the program. **What problems is Toggl Track solving and how is that benefiting you?** Toggl is an essential tool. The problem I solve in using it is showing clients the amount of time spent working so that I may be paid appropriately and proportionally for my work. It allows trust in an economy that is done increasingly via the internet with strangers. As far as benefits go, I have used Toggl since starting my work as an independent contractor, so it is difficult to gauge any difference it has made. It has, however, allowed me to understand the time required to complete a project better, such that I can casually provide estimates for assignments and they are usually correct. Whether or not this would be possible without Toggl (it likely would be), I cannot say for sure. ### 27.
