"Clean UI and Great Onboarding That Simplifies Complex Patent Management"
5/5
What do you like best about TIP Tool?

As someone who's just started using the TIP Tool, my first impression has been very positive. The UI is clean and well organized, even though patent management itself is a complex process. The onboarding experience has been great thanks to the short explainer videos, which made it much easier to learn the platform step by step. I haven't explored every integration yet, but everything I've used so far has worked smoothly and the overall performance has been solid. The AI-powered insights and analytics are a nice addition and make the platform feel more advanced. From what I've seen, the features offer good value for the pricing. Overall, it's a well-designed tool that makes a complex workflow much easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TIP Tool?

As a first-time user, the biggest challenge is the learning curve. Patent and IP management is naturally a complex domain, so it takes some time to understand all the workflows and features. That said, I don't see this as a flaw in the tool itself, the explainer videos and documentation make it much easier to get up to speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"TIP Tool Idea & Patent management software with AI summaries"
4/5
What do you like best about TIP Tool?

I am using the TIP tool for organising and tracking my ideas. In addition to that, I use it to look up the patent examiners' statistics and patent attorneys' performance, such as how many cases they abandoned and how many they got granted. Moreover, sometimes I use it to find the previous clients they worked with.

The UI is simple. I'll just enter the name in the search bar and select the attorney or the examiner. It will automatically show me the details. For idea management, it has a simple form to collect ideas and a drag-and-drop interface to track the ideas.

It has a Microsoft SSO integration for easy login. The TIP Tool performs well in idea management and patent management. It has a dashboard view for the patent portfolio. I specifically like their standalone tools.

The pricing is quite affordable compared to the enterprise software. The standalone tool examiner analysis costs me $5/ month, and TIP Tool costs me $50 a month.

The onboarding is simple. Just used my ID to log in, and they gave me a proper demo.

It has a AI summary with a particular examiner or attorney's allowance rate , office actions and grant time. I find it very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TIP Tool?

There is a slight learning curve if you are a non-tech user like me. Be it adding new domains, it is a bit tricky; however, I contacted the support team, and they set it up for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
