"Clean, Predictable Automation That Makes Powerful Workflows Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

The best thing about Tines is how clean and predictable the automation model is. Most SOAR platforms drown you in UI clutter, nested menus, and “magic” behaviour. Tines does the opposite - it gives you a small set of agent types, each with a clear purpose, and lets you build extremely powerful workflows without fighting the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Tines’ biggest drawbacks are its opaque, often high enterprise pricing and the fact it still leans heavily toward security rather than broad IT or business automation. While the platform is powerful, it comes with a real learning curve around JSON, APIs and logic blocks, and some UI areas—like Cases and large Storyboards—can feel a bit rigid or cluttered. Reporting is limited without external tools, and although the free tier is useful, it’s not enough for full SOC operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI orchestration with Drag-and-Drop development tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

I understand that it is a AI orchestration platform for security and IT teams but it is widely used as a drag and drop automation development solution within our organization. it integrates with a variety of solutions and other applications.

Without waiting for custom code or third-party plugins using API the tool provides flexibility, paired with a visual canvas that turns complex logic into intuitive stories and helps day-to-day security operations. It

The automation team gets the right support even after a the solution is built on multiple development initiatives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

I understand it has less capabilities on the AI automation and integration parts as the tool takes a lot of time to process the information and it is a lot slow so we need to improve on that part.

Secondary concern is regrading the tool cost around the cost and the learning curve for high-level logic needs to be taught to every developers while using the solution Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Automation, Minimal Coding Required"
5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

I use Tines as an automation platform to streamline and manage repetitive workflows, especially in security and operations. The visual workflow builder makes it really easy to design and understand automation, even for complex processes. I don’t need to rely heavily on coding, which speeds things up a lot. It's one of the main reasons Tines is so useful to me. It turns complex automation into something you can actually see and understand at a glance, instead of digging through scripts or code. You're looking at a flow of actions with each step clearly connected. The initial setup was quite straightforward. We didn’t need heavy deployment or a long onboarding process since it’s cloud-based. Most of the effort was about configuring integration rather than installing anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

There are a few things where I feel Tines could improve. Sometimes when the workflow becomes very complex, managing and navigating them can get a bit overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless SOC Automation with Powerful AI Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

I like how Tines helps us automate various SOC processes such as creating tickets in Jira for alerts and automatically updating Jira with probable solutions using the AI features. Tines University is a good place to learn about Tines and its features from basic to advanced, and it's free of cost. This makes it easy for anyone new to Tines to learn and get certified. The AI features are handy for workflow creations and they help us build workflows quickly. They also assist us in understanding many features if we are stuck, including help with formulas and actions. The initial setup was easy, just a few clicks, and we had our tenants ready. We could easily manage the tenants, users, and workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Testing individual steps can be challenging sometimes and it doesn't have the RAG feature. When trying to debug in Tines, especially with complex workflows, navigating through events of each action becomes difficult and mapping the flow event for action is challenging. "Powerful Yet Simple Automation with a Clean, Gentle Learning Curve"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

Tines nails the balance between power and simplicity. The interface is clean, the learning curve is gentle, and building automations feels fast rather than fiddly. It’s one of those tools where you can get meaningful workflows running without wrestling with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

The main drawback is that Tines can feel limited once you need deeper logic or heavy data handling. Some tasks end up requiring workarounds, and scaling more complex workflows isn’t always as smooth as the simple ones. It’s powerful, but you can hit its ceiling faster than you expect. "Easy to Use, Powerful AI Agent Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

Tines is really easy to use. I also appreciate how quickly they rolled out AI features, and it’s been genuinely useful for our organization. In particular, we’ve gotten a lot of value from the AI Agent features and the AI-powered formula generation.

Tines also has a great support team. We typically hear back within a few hours, and they’re receptive to feature requests, which makes a big difference.

Integrations with tools like Crowdstrike, Jira, Qualys, GCP, AWS, etc., work beautifully and have been smooth to set up and use.

I have never had any issues with performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

None at the moment, but I’d like to share some feedback: Tines’ AI formula generation doesn’t work sometimems. Story Copilot also has a few minor bugs, and I’m hoping it improves in the future.

Also would like to have a RAG feature in Tines AI Agent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tines Stories?

I find Tines incredibly helpful for automating my day-to-day repetitive tasks, as it's very easy to use. I really like the no code/low code functionality, making it accessible even for those without coding experience. It's great that Tines allows easy integration across all tools and offers strong automation for real-world use cases. I appreciate its scalability and reusability, which are essential for our operations. The initial setup was smooth and user-friendly, which made the transition easy. "Very effective, user friendly SOAR"
5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

Tines has continued to be our reliable SOAR / case management solution in the SOC. It's completely transformed how we operate and we're still continuously building and improving our flows.

When we first started out, what stood out immediately was how simple the product is to use — the no-code/low-code builder makes it easy to get a story from idea to production without fighting the tooling. The stories we've built have taken over the repetitive triage and escalation work my team used to do manually, freeing them up to focus on the actual analysis that matters.

Tines support channels have always been the best, each time we get stuck on a flow their engineers are ready to help.

A year or 2 or 3? on, Tines has gone from a tool we used to simplify a few tasks to something genuinely embedded in how the SOC runs day to day. Highly recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Honestly, it's hard to find much to fault. If anything, based of new users the main hurdle is that the more advanced automation does benefit from some prior knowledge — things like regex, JSONPath, and Liquid templating come up quickly once you move beyond the basics, but AI is also your friend here. "Simplifies Automation with Excellent Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

I use Tines in my organization for creating workflows and managing automations without manual intervention. I appreciate that Tines reduces SLA for users and minimizes errors in manual tasks like access revokes and task management for different integrated tools. I like the simple UI and find the documentation very easy to understand. The support offered by Tines is very good, and the integration with other tools is quite easy, making Tines well-integrated with other systems. The initial setup was quite easy, and handling complex tasks with support made the process simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Tines is confusing around the workflow of complicated tasks and might get confusing sometimes, like when debugging large workflows. Also, Tines heavily relies on the APIs for the connected tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Security Automation with Easy Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

I use Tines for security automation tasks like alert triggering and enriching security alerts, as well as automating security workflows and maintaining RBAC automatically. What I like most about Tines is how it simplifies automation without requiring much knowledge of hard coding. It allows us to create simple workflows and automate repetitive SOC team tasks. Tines also integrates with multiple tools like SIEM and EDR, such as Crowdstrike and Qualys, making it easier to organize alerts from different tools in one place. This integration helps reduce manual work and minimize errors or missed vulnerabilities. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, and the documentation and support were quite helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

As the stories increase, the workflow becomes complex, and it takes some time to trace the exact cause of the failures. Tines heavily relies on the API from the integrated tools, and any downtime of the API can disrupt the automation or workflows. When the workflow becomes large, it can quickly become complex in terms of action failure and inputs that can cause failure. Also, if something fails in the asset lookup, the downstream may fail. Better visual tracking or highlighting of failure points could make the investigation or troubleshooting faster. The error message can be limited, so more information on these can lead to better resolutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
