"Simple Workflow Automation Without Much Coding"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

What I like most is how easy it is to build and manage workflows. The visual setup makes it easier to understand what each step is doing, and I don't have to write a lot of code for basic automation. It also makes it easier to update a workflow when the process changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

The main thing I found a little difficult was getting used to all the options when building more complex workflows. The basic setup is pretty straightforward, but some of the more advanced steps can take a bit of trial and error to configure the way I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tines Stories Make Complex Security Workflows Easy to Visualize."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

The Tines Stories allow for visualizing the entire workflow that connects actions, APIs, conditions, and changes to data on the storyboard. It allows seeing how data flows across actions, which is quite helpful for security workflows, since one process usually consists of multiple tools and decision points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Sometimes Stories are challenging to browse when a workflow gets really large. Also, there is a little learning curve associated with understanding the logic of events, actions, data transformations, and integrations. While the builder itself is low-code, some technical skills may be required for creating customized workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear, Visual Automation Workflows with Tines Stories"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

Tines Stories offers a way to create visual representations of automated workflows. For the purposes of engineering operations, I am able to clearly map out a sequence of actions required for dealing with alerts, collecting technical data and notifying the necessary parties. The visualization of workflow as a chain of steps helps understand better where the automation starts, what exactly it does and where it ends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

As the Story becomes more complex due to a large number of branching paths and exception scenarios, managing it becomes harder, and any changes have to be tested thoroughly, as a modification of a single step can affect actions done further down the line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Structured Incident Triage and Engineering Workflow Automation"
4/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

The visual workflow structure makes complex incident logic much easier to follow. I particularly like how alert ingestion, field normalization, severity classification, rider-experience stage identification, engineering routing, and investigation tracking can be kept as separate steps while still forming one workflow. The detailed outputs also make it easier to understand why an incident was classified and where it should go next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

The workflow can become harder to navigate once there are many stages and detailed conditions. Keeping the logic and outputs organized takes some discipline, especially when the incident flow becomes more complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful No-Code Automation with a Flexible, Secure Visual Interface."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

The things that I really like about Tines are its no-code and low-code workflow automation capabilities. In particular, it enables you to automate tedious tasks and connect various apps with ease and without a need for much coding. Another feature of Tines that I like is the visual interface, flexibility and good security capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Disadvantages of using Tines:

There are certain workflow systems in Tines which cannot be configured easily if you do not have previous experience with automation. Pricing might turn out to be quite high for smaller teams, and debugging the workflow might take some time. It would be great if Tines provides some inbuilt templates to simplify the process. "Intuitive No-Code Automation with Strong AI and Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

The Storyboard visual builder makes designing complex automation workflows intuitive without writing code, and it saves significant time compared to scripting each integration manually. The Workbench AI copilot is a standout—being able to trigger actions like lookups or resets through natural language cuts down repetitive manual work. With 200+ native integrations and open REST/GraphQL support, connecting Tines to our existing security and IT stack was smooth. The SOC 2 Type II certification also gives confidence when handling sensitive data across workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Enterprise pricing is steep—plans can start near $50K/year, which puts it out of reach for smaller teams needing serious automation depth. Onboarding has a real learning curve despite the "no-code" branding, especially for non-technical users trying to build advanced workflows. Some automated flows still need manual intervention, which slightly undercuts the promise of full automation. Integration coverage is broad but still has gaps for niche or less common tools. "More Predictable, Consistent Customer Follow-Up with Automated Workflows"
5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

I love developing a systematic workflow of how information is being collected, checked for accuracy, routed to its proper destination, and appropriate actions are started without the necessity to manually transfer the same information through several systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Workflow might become difficult to maintain if there are many conditions and numerous actions interconnected with each other. Any modifications that were made to the existing workflow require very careful testing as changes in one step might have consequences in the following steps of the Story. "Tines Stories Makes Event-Driven Data Workflows Easy to Build and Visualize"
5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

Tines Stories is a great instrument for creating event-driven workflows focused on data processing. I can specify what is supposed to occur after a particular event, make it possible to transfer data between various applications, add branching for making decisions before performing certain actions. Visualization of Tines Stories makes the whole workflow much simpler to analyze as compared to analyzing separate scripts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Data workflows usually rely on upstream systems, which must function correctly to process a story. If a particular piece of information comes to the Story late or improperly formatted, it will require additional exception handling to avoid using incorrect data for automation. "Tines Stories Makes Automation Visual and Easy to Share"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

Tines Stories is a platform that helps turn a business scenario into an automated process. The graphical way of representation is useful because it shows how an event, logic and actions that take place as a result of the event are interconnected. It also makes the conversation with non-technical people much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

As a Story gets bigger and more complex, it becomes more difficult to reason about it. The workflow seems simple at the beginning, however, when multiple systems and decisions are considered, one has to keep everything documented properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tines Stories Makes Administrative Workflows Clear and Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Tines Stories?

The Tines Stories tool is useful because it allows you to take repetitive administrative tasks and make workflows out of them in an easy-to-understand manner. This makes it clear what kind of events trigger a process, what data is required to be processed, and what needs to happen next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines Stories?

Workflows can become difficult to manage when there are many exceptions to them. One change to a process might affect future actions, and therefore workflows need to be re-evaluated if there are any changes to the administrative process itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
