## Thrive Reviews
  ### 1. Insightful and Easy to Use, But Needs Smoother Access, Reporting and Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Thrive?**

It’s been really interesting to see the results of our Thrive tests across the team, and we’ve used this information to help inform our appraisals. I also really like that Thrive suggests tests based on job roles and individual goals. It’s fairly easy to use and straightforward to select responses, which makes the process simple and engaging for everyone. Relatively easy to send out to whole team but a couple of email addresses didn't work (still work email addresses).

**What do you dislike about Thrive?**

There are a few areas that could be improved. We found quite a lot of repetition between some of the sentiment questions, and there were consistent errors when moving between individual reports — we had to log out and back in each time to access them properly. The team reports also don’t format correctly within the page size, even after IT support adjusted the margins. The graphics on the home page are a little misleading too, as the usage numbers are split under the headings of 2024 and 2025, which makes it look like the lower figures are from the previous year. Finally, the chat support has been a bit confusing when asking about credits, costs, and payments.

**What problems is Thrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thrive is helping us better understand our team’s current feelings, strengths, and areas where additional support may be needed. It’s been particularly useful in informing our appraisal process, allowing us to tailor discussions and goals to each person’s profile. This has given us a more balanced view of individual and team dynamics, helping us identify where to provide targeted support and how to build on existing strengths.

  ### 2. Objective Data Transforms Our Recruitment Process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Issac C. | Senior HR Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Thrive?**

Thrive introduces an objective data point into our recruitment process, moving away from internal hiring decisions that rely solely on subjective judgment.

**What do you dislike about Thrive?**

The limited number of features restricts some actions and leaves little room for errors.

**What problems is Thrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue was that many hiring outcomes did not align with the business needs, which led to high attrition and turnover rates. Introducing Thrive into the recruitment process has given decision makers new data points to reference and has made interviews more structured. This change has encouraged decision makers to consider their choices more carefully before making hiring decisions.

  ### 3. Seagate Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise I. | Talent Acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Thrive?**

Very friendly user interface which has provided an expedited hiring process.

Candidates have noted a more relaxed and positive experience than previous providers.

**What do you dislike about Thrive?**

Data Capture page could be slightly less time consuming for the candidates as it is information that we do not record.

**What problems is Thrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us to hire quality candidates.

  ### 4. Thrive makes our process so robust - clients love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hello i. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Thrive?**

We use Thrive to test virtual assistants before we onboard them to our platform. The Thrive results identify the VA's strengths and areas of weakness and give us interview questions to dig further into the areas of weakness/risk. This helps us make better hiring decisions and in turn, gives us results that we can share with clients so they know they are getting the best support.

**What do you dislike about Thrive?**

It's hard to say! The tool is really easy to use, candidates seem to enjoy the process and are genuinely interested in their results. We'd love Thrive to add skills testing to their platform!

**What problems is Thrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It stops us from making bad hiring decisions an gives us data on candidates to show our clients how strong their VA is in certain areas and points out areas of development so clients and VAs know how to work together.

  ### 5. Easy but Powerful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Thrive?**

We contracted with Thrive in October 2022, and introduced a condensed 4-day working week then. My main aim with Thrive was to measure retention, engagement, and wellbeing so as to start measuring the effectiveness of the 4-day work week.

I knew immediately after engaging with Will from Thrive that this was the platform for us. It looked so user-friendly and I absolutely loved the way the results are shown on the dashboard. The science that sits behind the data is what really sold me the product.

So, I started our first project in January of this year. I sent out assessments to measure behavioural alignment, retention risk, engagement, wellbeing and remote readiness. The results were simple to understand, so it was very easy for me to share with the rest of the business who may not have a psychology and assessments background.

The behavioural alignment assessments were something that I threw in, just because it was included in Thrive's offering. I was interested to see what the results might say and I am extremely happy that I decided to include this assessment in our project, as it has given us clear direction on what is required in terms of competency development across the organization. This allows us to spend our money wisely!

Thrive have always been very accommodating and always very quick to help out wherever they can.

I am very happy with Thrive and look forward to a longer-term relationship with them.

**What do you dislike about Thrive?**

Being in South Africa, psychological assessments are heavily regulated, and so I've had to ask Thrive on a number of occasions to change things up in order to comply.

**What problems is Thrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to easily report on the effectiveness of our 4-day work week and hybrid model by using only one platform where we can use scientific based assessments to assess engagement, wellbeing and retention risk.
