**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

For Cyberimpact, Thinkific Plus is the perfect platform to deliver a quality learning experience for our clients and future clients. Its intuitive interface allows us to create and share educational content easily, even without advanced tech skills. The scalability is ideal as we expand, ensuring we can serve an increasing number of users seamlessly. Plus, the advanced analytics provide valuable insights into engagement and progress, helping us continuously refine our offerings. Thinkific Plus enables us to deliver a top-notch, professional training experience that meets our growing audience's needs. We are still in the early stage of implementing but so far so good

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

While Thinkific Plus provides many useful features, we’ve found the language barrier and content management to be challenging. For Cyberimpact, delivering a seamless multilingual experience is crucial, yet Thinkific's language customization is limited. Key sections like course content and custom text require manual translation, adding to our workload. Additionally, managing multiple languages often means creating separate sites, which can complicate content management and consistency. Improving these areas would make Thinkific Plus an even better fit for companies like ours that prioritize a high-quality, accessible experience for all clients. As a french speaking province its always a bit of a struggle to have something really well done biligualy.

Providing a tool that our clients and future client will definetly use in the future in order to better understand all the functionnality on our platform.

Thinkific is a really easy-to-use platform for designing our courses. I have hardly needed to use the help function, but even that is well organized and easy to search.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

There are not many downsides to Thinkific Plus, but there are a few visual aspects that I wish could be more customizable.

It is a more robust LMS than our current system.

The platforms user experience is vey good, the aesthetic is fun and modern and the security of the site good as well, it is also very integrative so you can upload pre excisting products or create them with in The Leap.

It is still an emerging platform, therefore many people are still unaware of its credibilty.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

Reasonable prices along with quick and knowledgeable support make Thinkific Plus a great option for anyone looking to provide online education. It's simple to get started and easy to maintain!

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

Some advanced features will require knowledge of APIs and webhooks and even in-app functionality might only be possible through third-party paid apps. Although, the flexibility to extend it's functionality is a nice feature.

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a large-scale learning platform to serve our 500,000+ student audience. Thinkific makes it easy to build quality courses that are easy for people to access and enjoy. The user-friendly UI makes studnet onboarding simple as well.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

Allowing our onboarding clients to learn asynchronously is so valuable - and allows our training team to work on keeping content updated and creating new content, rather than spending that time hosting live trainings. 

The resource library is also so valuable. Thinkific Plus allowed us to create a Client Hub for our clients where they can view resources, sign up for and participate in courses, and engage in our community.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

Thinkific's UI on the admin side could use some tweaking. Its not super intuitive to find what you are looking for. 

I also wish there were better built in reporting - more information about the content and about the users. Right now its a bit of a pain to track that information within thinkifics UI so I am tracking a lot of stuff externally.

I also really wish that the notification preferences were USER specific rather than ROLE specific.

I also wish that I could delete things that are submitted from a client as an assignment. There are some things I need submitted that have sensative information - and because I can't delete it in thinkific I have to have them submit it another way but then to complete the assignment they still have to upload something.

We are able to more quickly and efficiently onboard clients and employees. 

We are able to ensure a consistent training experience which allows for more effective feedback and evaluation of how things are working and are better able to iterate on our processes.

Thinkific Plus allows our team to create engaging courses that help our clients learn the ins and outs of our product, with quizzes, videos, ratings, and custom code for everything else.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

How the theme code is set up can make it challenging to figure out where the code you need to change is. However, with Plus, it is easy to use customer support to get answers quickly.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

We chose Thinkific based on their support and integrations that are available to hook into our existing system with SSO and ability to offer an addition feature with managers overseeing their people. This was a very important decision and we believe we've made the right choice partnering with Thinkific. We have big plans for growing our content and training materials for our teams moving forward.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

One area Thinkific could improve is the ability to customize the learning area without having to resort to custom coding. This would allow our non-dev team to create the learning environment and craft it to our specifications without involving developers.

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a highly customizable solution for our training materials while allowing for deep integration into our online platforms. The quizzes in particular are a favorite feature of our team and allows us to be creative in creating our content.

The Seamless Course Management - The ease of use in managing courses, student progress, and data has been a game-changer for our marketing and operations teams. The ability to track learner engagement and analyze results allows for continuous improvement of the program’s offerings. We can easily tweak courses to meet the evolving needs of student-athletes, offering value in real-time.

The limited built-in marketing and sales features compared to some other platforms. While it integrates well with external tools, it lacks more advanced, native features for upselling, funnel-building, or advanced email marketing automation.

Creating an on demad internship program for student-athletes. Typically athletes do not have the same free time as other students to pack their reusmes. Thinkific has helped us with this solution.

The website styles look clean and modern, course layouts the same.

Website layout has few options to customise. So many extra add ons to pay for, the membership pans kept increasing in price and rather invest in uopgradng the platform, they seem to push paid plugins instead.

Our website was not very easily found in Google search so we left, the customer service team were not experienced to help and instead said not to worry.

Support from staff has been excellent, and the course builder is easy to navigate

The website builder takes a little bit of time to get the hang of, especially the 'snips'. The platform can be a bit slow at times too. I wish it had a native hubspot integration also rather than using a third party like zapier, but I am told this is coming

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We schedule lots of training calls with companies that use our software producst, and usually these are only with the managers of the company. We then essentially rely on those inside the company to communicate our product effectively and train all staff, which is often not effective. Thinkific Plus allows us to offer platform training to all users of our product without adding extra pressure on our CSMs or trainers

The purchase feature for people buying courses is straightforward and easy to use. The Customer Success Managers are fantastic and the support team is very professional.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

Would like to see improvements with creating engaging content within the app without using a 3rd party and reporting. Sometimes it takes a while (i.e 1 day) for support to return a response depending on time difference.

Easy-to-manage course platform for onboarding users to engineering technology solutions. As an administrator, I was able to view and control all users with a simple administration panel.

The order of the courses is not 100% customizable, so the courses are displayed randomly.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

Communities overall look and feel.

Communities only send notifications from Admins that post. For it to be a true community, our community members want and need to know when their peers post as well to encourage communication, collaboration, and support. Notifications will allow them to stay more engaged in the platform overall. It would be great to get a summary email/day highlighting the posts that were made, or push notifications when anyone posts something.

I dislike the need to have the superpowerups to take my platform to the next level visually and otherwise. The powerups are great and don't get me wrong I love them, it just seems like some of the things the platform should already have.

Removing a course from a bundle should automatically make people lose access to the course vs having to manually unenroll in the users page.

There is a glitch with removing and then adding community members for cohorts that would leave them in. I reached out to support about this, and I never heard back about it being fixed. The concern being that people removed from communities are added back in whenever more people are added.

Better options for gamification and how to earn badges (just a certain number of coures vs. specific courses)

the customization options, while decent, can feel limited when trying to create more unique and complex course designs without advanced technical skills. Some integrations require additional third-party tools or workarounds, which can be troublesome.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

We use Thinkific both internally and externally, for me specifically, I have now used Thinkific over several organizations I have been with and it is great every time. The product is easy to use from the administrative side all of the way to the user side. I enjoy how logical it is to build a course and to roll it out to my entire team or even organization. In terms of customer feedback, we gets lots of great feedback regarding how simple it was to take the course and that they feel enabled and confident.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

There is really only one area for improvement and that is that I feel like at times when it comes to managing courses or doing administrative tasks, it can get a bit tedious to enroll one person at a time or to have to perform many clicks for seemingly simple actions.

The main thing that is being solved is our enablement across the organization and to our customers. With Thinkific we are easily able to accomplish this effectively and allow our customers and organization to learn our products fast, effectively, and efficiently.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

Thinkific Plus is a powerful LMS that gives you all the tools you need to grow your course offerings and business. It has an intuitive interface with lots of options for integrations and design customization. It works well with most existing LMS platforms if you need to migrate content over.  Support is very responsive and they communicate clearly and seem to truly care about the customer and finding solutions. The branded mobile app is a nice feature as well.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

Analytics leave a lot to be desired. Communities are still very buggy and lack many of the features of other similar platforms. Push notifications are extremely limited. There's no way to export course content or set up a reviewing and tracking mode so others can proof work before it goes live.

Thinkific Plus gives us access to prompt customer service and advice. We also use all 3 Thinkific sites that are included in our plan.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

Our plan is pricey. And because of our business model, we don't use many of the Thinkific features like Communities, etc.

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started with one class in our home state. We later won a large state contract and could never have implemented their online learning program without Thinkific. The requirements were complicated and we were able to meet them all, either with added code to Thinkific or with a Thinkific expert that we hired. We also had access to a Thinkific business partner that helped us navigate the learning process. Thinkific has been stable and our client has been very pleased. Without Thinkific I'm not sure how we would have fulfilled the requirements of the contract.

Learning Playersnips is a bit of a learning curve and not as intuitive as other platforms.

I have loved the amazing customer support team at Thinkific. The level of care and attention to all of our questions and concerns has been amazing and we are so grateful for all the support we received during our move over to Thinkific. We really appreciate all the features including the community spaces and the option to add discussions right in the lesson. This has upleveled the experience for our students and has really helped us connect even more along the student journey. The integration had some hickups but the support team was on top of helping us with all of our questions and they helped us create ways to connect our products and free opt-ins through Keap and Shopify. Overall we have really enjoyed our experience working with Thinkific and using Thinkific Plus.

Would love to have more in depth reporting on user progress (in addition to course completion percentages).

We wanted a built in community platform and Thinkific Plus helped with that. Discussions built in to the lessons is also a huge plus.

Thinkific Plus is great! I love the extensive customization options, and the ability to fully white-label the platform. It also offers advanced reporting, seamless integrations, making my training courses easy to produce, beautiful and easy to use.

One downside of Thinkific Plus is that it can be expensive for smaller businesses, and its extensive customization options may require a steeper learning curve for users without technical expertise.

I wish that it was compatible with the 'present to teams' feature in Microsoft Teams. That way when I am hosting workshops that are housed in Thinkific, I can see what slides will be coming up next

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

Thinkific Plus has a lot of benefits - especially if you are an individual looking to host training / courses.  The customization options are great and there are so many ways to build out courses and offer them to your client base.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

The analytics have a lot to be desired.  There is a very limited view of data and for us the most important data was not available to us, even though we knew it existed. (mainly source data for leads, registrants).  Not being able to download and customize our analytics was a bit of a let down.

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a centralized location to offer a variety of customer training resources, from summer PD to anytime product training.  Thinkific allows us to keep everything in one place giving our customers a consistent and easy way to access our learning tools.

I've been using Thinkific as an admin, and it has consistently proven to be a reliable and effective platform for online course management. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to create, manage, and deliver courses. The AI capabilities speed up the process.

The text toolbar sometimes doesn't follow the text page, which can be a bit inconvenient especially if you are at the bottom of the text field and you need to scroll back up to highlight or chnage the formatting or  word/sentence.

I like that they are always innovating with new add-ons to optimize customer/client use. Their support team is very attentive and works hard to find solutions and answers to your needs as a client. I do feel like they are always there if needed. There are so many features in this platform, and their ease of use has added to my productivity.

I have a very specialized business, where it would be helpful if more features in Thinkific were more customizable, but the solutions team is constantly working towards innovating solutions and creating more customizable content.

It's user-friendly to build out courses and duplicate courses. the analytics of student engagement is a great. alot of on going updates to the different features which is great. Thank you for adding the filtering/search feature for the assignment section! I just saw it today.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

The built-in survey feature is not easy to use to build out a long survey. I wish it was similar to the quiz import set up where questions, answer choices, and survey question format can be imported via a template. 

I want  more flexibility on the template layout for the certificates. It would be great to be able to select the orientation of the certificate to be portrait or landscape. Being able to move the static fields around so it match up to a custom imported design. Being able to hide certain fields of the certificate.

Providing a platform where we can distribute our training materials to those participanting in our events. Participants being able to go to one central location to access various materials.

Cons outweight the pros. Support is bad( i had to contact 5 times to get a simple resolution as agents keep disconnecting the chat if you dont reply for 1 sec or their chat systems are bad, either way horrible experience) You can't customize a lot like they claim. I was charged for two sites and i didnt even know i had two sites until i saw the charges( very shady practice if you ask me and i wont recommend any one). I didnt even need two sites. There are other economical systems available out there.

Intuitive, easy to input what you need, great support from Thinkific team. Easy to implement and I love that we get email notifications when someone has signed up and completed the course. This is helpful for our stats.

the only thing a bit misleading is all their prices are in USD, so if you are a Canadian company, please know that.

Speed of use, relatively glitch free on our end, cannot comment on customer facing courses.

I was originally worried once we were told we needed to build from scratch because they could not accept standard course uploads (could only accept HTML5). But once we were in the platform we were able to quickly learn the process and we able to adapt a rebuild all of our content very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

It has come apparent to me that we are probably a new use case for Thinkific. THere major focus is on the marketing aspect of training and making edcuation in all forms accessible. I think I would like to see the LMS build out have more functionality, but as a new use case I do see us providing feedback over our contract term to help them add substance and depth to the LMS side.

Bringing the ecommerce solution to our training, that was previously otherwise hard to attract customers.

We were looking for some software to host our training materials on. We tested almost all products on the market (from WordPress plugins to enterprise-level software), and none of the players could compete with Thinkific as it's designed specifically for this use case. We ended up buying 5+ licenses from them. The product can benefit from some additional features and UX revamp, but even with these downfalls, it's the best product in the market for running online courses.

More features are required. More API connectivity is required for custom solutions; templates are hard to edit, and UX is not the best.

Hosting our training material online, user and access management, assessments of participants, credential management, etc.

Our team has found Thinkific to be a perfect platform for our comany's needs. Having the Thinkific Plus package has made our products come to life with the support of the Customer Success team. Having a designated Customer Success contact has allowed us to identify solutions and processes for intergrating Thinkific into our main product, allowing for easy access for our customers. Our rep, Daniel, is always so helpful, clear, and prompt when we reach out for support. The Plus Services team is also very efficient in answering our product/feature related questions in a very timely manner. These supports enable our company to provide the best service to our own customers.

We do not currently have any dislikes regarding the Thinkific Plus option.

Our company has a unique and specific set up for integrating Thinkific LMS into our platform. We loved Thinkific Plus, but ultimately decided not to go with it. Our use case if quite specific for compliance reasons and we needed a stronger integration with SCORM.
