Review source: Invitation from G2
What do you like best?

It has a fairly simple and easy-to-use interface that allows me to carry out tests in a fairly efficient way and without any problem to the programs I develop, the fact that its integrations are quite simple to implement makes it the perfect tool for The entire development team can verify the operation of the system at any time and be able to correct immediately if necessary, thus avoiding that we continue to advance in the development of the system and have a large number of errors in terms of operation, the fact That I can generate the reports in pdf format and graphically display the results obtained seems great to me since I can see in a more summarized and dynamic way the results obtained from the tests carried out and thus know what we should focus on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

To be honest, I have no complaints regarding this app, I find it quite useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It has been helping us to improve the quality of the software products designed by my development team in a quite surprising way, since it gives us the opportunity to carry out detailed tests and in general about the operation of the program before delivery. In the end, in the same way, it has been a great help to improve all the productivity of my work team in relation to the project carried out, since if there is any test the software will indicate it and thus we will know exactly where we should start to solve the fault, without having to waste so much time trying to find where to start. What do you like best?

* Fast feedback to our platform release quality

* Modern tools and new testing as a service platform

* Wide range of testers from different parts of the world

* Extensive device coverage

* Fantastic support from Testlio engineering team addressing features and improvements we have suggested to the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

So far we have been very happy with their services for almost 5 years now, if there is anything we don't like then they are always ready to listen and discuss our improvement ideas and suggest their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are looking to solve your testing problems using crowdsourced testing then look no further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We do not have many testers available to always test our release for possible regression issues.

Testlio helps us by offering testers with different viewpoints and opinions and different devices to test on.

We also like that once we finish our work week on Fridays, then we can schedule a testing cycle for the weekend and can start looking at the reported issues on Monday. This way we save an extra day from our release process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Three things about Testlio stood out to me:

- Quality of the engagement team: Very responsive, flexible and understood our product and testing challenges. This resulted in them providing guidance as a partner vs. just a vendor.

- High quality testers: Their pool of testers were exactly what we wanted. Wide and diverse that ended up surfacing many edge cases as well.

- Platform: Platform was easy to use and we were able to easily integrate with our existing suite of products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not much here to be honest, We had an A+ experience with the entire engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were able to supplement an existing in-house QA team with Testlio to get speed and hit our milestones. Testlio helped us in catching edge cases we would have missed and providing the QA validation we needed before we launched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Testlio's representatives are very friendly and responsive, and their QA team is great at investigating the ins-and-outs of even complex systems and providing detailed feedback, screenshots, and videos of the bugs and UX issues they discover. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

If a tool has a lot of possible workflow variations and paths, sometimes niche issues can go undetected without further instruction, but that's a given for any QA process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Have a chat with them, see what you think. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With a constantly evolving and increasingly complex SaaS platform, bugs and regressions are inevitable and testing becomes increasingly involved. Testlio helps to both discover problems early in the process while also helping to confirm that bug fixes worked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Testlio was amazing to work with! I feel fortunate we found them as a resource. They were able to adapt to our timelines and requirements. They provided excellent repeatable bug reports with an incredible turn around time. I have managed QA teams before and the quality of their test plans, depth of knowledge and execution of work was better than having an in house team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Nothing. We would use them again with no reservations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

They have helped us identify issues and bugs BEFORE shipping our code. We're leveraging their testing more broadly and they're helping us release stronger and better code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Testlio provides project managers that really aid in the engagements to ensure that the testing requirements are understood and results are reviewed and provided in a timely manner. You literally can request testing for an application, web, mobile web, native applications, and expect to receive results shortly after the tests are completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

We've had an excellent experience with Testlio over the last 3+ years.

Some of the "table stakes":

- thorough testing

- clear bug reports with screenshots, videos, and steps-to-reproduce.

- integration with bug-trackers (Jira in our case)

Testlio delivers on all of the above, but I've been most impressed with how flexible their process is and how excellent the project managers are.

In terms of test cases and management of the testing cycle, you can be as hands-on/off as you like. Testlio's PMs will do a great job of putting together test cycles and test cases with minimal input from us, but they will also accept and integrate as much detail as we can provide. Sometimes we provide a huge list of test cases for a new feature and the testers execute them all. Other times we say "try anything that you can think of that touches feature X". We get quality results either way.

Over the years we have made a number of times to how and how often we request testing. Typically a quick email or call with our PM is all that's required and then Testlio adapts their process to fit our new requirements.

Finally, Testlio has no trouble accommodating one-off requests for extra testing on a specific type of phone or operating system, language, etc. We get a good mix of all of these without asking, but we can always request special emphasis on any of them if we need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not a lot I can think of here. It's really easy to leave the process on auto-pilot, which is typically great. Every once in a while though I'll realize that I haven't done my part of provide information on features or expected behaviors, and that testers have been (silently) thrashing as a result. A little more work on my part would get us even better results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're been able to grow our mobile dev teams, speed up feature development and increase our release cadence without needing to scale our internal QA team at the same rate. Internal testers can focus on the highest-priority items, knowing that Testlio is also handing new feature and regression testing prior to every release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I really appreciate Testlio's willingness to help. Most companies sell you a service, but it comes with personal attitudes about jobs being hard. With Testlio, they are accepting of the nature of their service and don't get derailed when a new priority pops up.

In a world where QA priorities can change on a whim, Testlio has proven capable of delivering flexibility with a genuine smile. This really helps us serve our customers in an even more effective and timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Most of my complaints have either already been handled, or are in the process of being handled. From confusion around on-boarding, to how the cycle platform actually works, there's nothing that they aren't already aware and fixing, or haven't already implemented a fix for. I chalk this up to their flexibility and awareness of customer advocacy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If for some reason you are unclear about something, or prefer something be tuned in a different way for you, don't hesitate to ask or attempt to facilitate change that will help you. They are very open to collaborating on your project, because your success is their success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Testlio has impacted our work by allowing us to access more quality testers than we have ever had access to. Our products require testers with real devices that have real phone numbers, and cannot solely be looked at using automation or things like emulators.

We've upped the release cadence of every product on every platform, significantly reduced bugs and crashes in the wild, and have been able to smoothly roll out new products and features across the board with nearly no lag due to things like insufficient testing resources. They've adapted and grown with us, really proving how valuable their unique services are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The are great at communication, they got the feel of how our app works very quickly and asked intelligent, relevant questions. Whenever we were ready to push a version out to test their test cycles were fast and through. I have high confidence in them as a company which took some pressure off (they are very reliable). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The issue tracking system that Testlio use wasn't particularly intuitive for our tech lead and software engineer to follow, they ended up taking the results and putting it into an excel spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

They really get the job done and can tailor to suit your business needs. They are super reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The Testlio team understands software quality assurance inside and out. The best part is they learn your product quickly and are generating real issues and results in a very short amount of time without very little hand holding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

So far, we have been happy with Testlio and don't have any dislikes at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are leveraging the Testlio team to perform regular regression tests across our entire product suite and do focused functional testing when needed. The biggest benefit is time back for our team with very little oversight needed of their team to get real results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
