I wasnt able to utlize one reading passage for 20 questions nor was I able to to offer a split screen so students can review the reading whilst answering questions. A lot of the software vendors we use have very good training for their customers. We were able to utilize their training videos into our courses to track our users progress. Import tools promote the development of new courses / branches / users and batch registration for students. The time and effort needed to customize the application and get it online was a matter of hours only. **What do you dislike about TalentLMS?** I wish there was not only a loader, but a SCORM constructor. I still wish there was a way to pay for extra functionality, no matter how many seats there are. The import option to build users / courses / branches by batch is useful, but it is not possible to import all objects and components from a file. For example, the calendar for Teacher Led Training (ILT) and the student subscription to each ILT have to be registered manually. While its online testing framework is useful, some features are missing which could even boost it. **Recommendations to others considering TalentLMS:** Try the Free Demo. It has turned on almost all of the features, some fantastic product training and you can play with it to really know what you like and don't like. The TalentLMS platform includes the attributes needed for an e-Learning platform. An LMS fast to get your system costs live and adequate. You don't need to find an IT-expert to run it. It can be treated and managed by just a normal person. It offers me a way to provide training to a dispersed workforce. Although you will find several communication tools, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, our aim is to provide our students with greater added value. For one, it has an easy to navigate back end! Secondly, for those that require multiple user types, this is a great option! You can upload multiple users at once or individually. There is the ability to change how a user gets added, which was a benefit for us. We made sure that there was no access without the administrator's approval; however, you can choose account creation with a code or direct signup. For us, the courses were easy to publish, with multiple format options. It is easily scalable for us! We don't currently use SCORM, but TalentLMS provides that option. So, we used basic testing for feedback and rewarded activities with points. My favorite part is the overall user experience! **What do you dislike about TalentLMS?** There are a few features I'd like to have but for what you pay, I will not complain. For example, I would (at times) like to have the ability to allow a course to be viewed only a certain number of times. I also would like to see better reporting...how many users are active versus not is a little difficult to filter; however, most of the reporting is rather great and comes with easy to read infographics! You can download several users simultaneously or separately. The way a user is added is modified, which was to our advantage. Without administrator approval you can make sure no access is available, but you can choose to create an account that contains a code or direct registry. The courses with multiple formatting options were easy for us to publish. I like how many users can obtain visual statistics. Helps user advancement monitoring. **What do you dislike about TalentLMS?** I would like to have a few features but I won't complain about what you pay. I 'd (sometimes) like, for example, to allow only a certain number of times for a course to be viewed. I would like to see better reports, too. I also want to see more closely how the mobile app displays courses appear in a web browser. Specific options or services are typically needed, but not offered. New options and improvements will be introduced if necessary by the entire LMS group. Automatically rating and automating files, e-mails and more. The user interface can be bookmarked and the material styled. Almost everyone can easily use or build courses. It's very easy. You can log-in to display the test results to see and user's answers, as well as show the aggregate results to identify questions that may be too difficult or too straightforward. You have all options to customize and monitor. You can do something and have power over the website's behaviour, look, code etc. **What do you dislike about TalentLMS?** For negatives, there's not much to say. Sometimes it can be difficult to answer questions in research. I wish they still had more forms of questions. Furthermore, some content formats can be somewhat finished and restricted. Sifting through competitors' marketing, I've realized that they look flashier but promote basic features as upgrades. TalentLMS provides space for a solid, clear learning experience that allows the learning design and facilitation to be central. You can structure a learner-centered experience using branches, user groups and sequences. And, support the social nature of learning through the discussion threads, one-on-one messaging and virtual conferencing. Of course, Talent LMS's e-commerce functionality is critical to my business. And I appreciate the pricing packages that allow my company's online learning work to grow as our market grows. **What do you dislike about TalentLMS?** I'd like the customization process to be easier. TalentLMS has a lot of easy-to-follow help guides and customer support, but some of the newer LMS's are a bit more drag and drop. I'm not a software developer, but have felt that I need to learn more basic coding skills in order to make my platform look the way I want. That's a few hours of time, research and tinkering to design prettier images for the platform. I'm also hoping the e-commerce functionality goes off smoothly--we haven't made our learning for payment yet. Note that we have not yet launched our learning platform as of the writing of this review. So far, all I can really share is about the set up process and feature set. **Recommendations to others considering TalentLMS:** Sign up for the free trial and test this out for yourself. Unlike other LMS's, you never lose access to your account so your content will still be there--even if it's next year when you get back to it. **What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our portal is designed to support leadership development which means we need opportunities for learning paths, one-on-one mentoring through virtual conferencing, messaging and assignments. I had never used an LMS before and setting it up for my company of roughly 110 employees was very straightforward. It's very easy to manage users and create courses by pulling in content from all types of sources. Scoring is done automatically and reports, emails and more can be automated. You can brand the UI and stylize your content. It's easy enough that just about anyone can use it to either create courses or take them. You can go in and look at test results and see which answers each user put in on each attempt and also see results overall to identify questions that might be too difficult or too easy. **What do you dislike about TalentLMS?** There's not much to say about negatives. Sometimes managing the questions in tests can be tedious. I always wish they had more question types. Also, some of the content formatting can be a little finicky and limited. **What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before we started using TalentLMS, all our training was done on paper and with big binders. Each test might consist of 140 questions that were hand written--most were not multiple choice but free answers. These all had to be graded by hand by the managers. This was very time consuming just to manage the testing alone. Now it saves our management and our employees a lot of time.
