"Excellent support"

What do you like best about Syncplify?

The software is great, very easy to set up. I was able to restore a backup from a previous version of the software, it took all our users and our virtual disks. Absolutely smooth. The only sticking point was licensing, and Fjodr Soyevskji was the support specialist who helped me through that. He responded very quickly, saw what was wrong with my setup, and got me on the right track. I probably reopened that ticket like 4 times, and he was always very professional and fast with his responses. Fjodr is definitely a valuable member of your team, thank you all so much! What do you dislike about Syncplify?

It wasn't clear that I was using the wrong version of license key, in the future a good idea might be to check the version of the license key in the customer portal. Maybe a quick pop up to say "hey that's an old key, I hope you're not trying to activate our new software with that" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Syncplify?

What do you dislike about Syncplify?

There could be some improvements to the multi-server support, but I think they are working on that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Syncplify solving and how is that benefiting you?

I needed to replace our existing end-of-life SFTP server. I wanted the file organization to be compatible with our old server for ease of transition. I wanted a multi-server solution for redundancy. Symcplify was the only system I evaluated which met all my criteria.

During my implementation, I ran into several issues. Some turned out to be Symcplify issues, which they promptly fixed. Others turned out to be issues with clients using deprecated protocols (and who were unable to change). Much to my surprise and delight, Syncplify re-enabled support for those protocols so that I could support those clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you very much for your review, we appreciate your feedback. Although for some settings (ex: bindings) there is no technical way to avoid a service restart, we're hard at work to minimize the number of settings that require a restart in our next major version (v7.0) to be released later this year.

"Fast and attentive service"

What do you like best about Syncplify?

We had an instance of a client that was blacklisted and we did not know why. I opened a support ticket and very quickly was provided with the posible reasons for blacklisting. Support was fast, accurate and professional.

I also like the logging facility withing Syncplify. The truth is in the logs! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Syncplify?

"Simply Great SFTP server"

What do you like best about Syncplify?

It just works all the time. I've never had an issue in the 3 years we have been using the software. UI is simple and easy to use for allowing and blocking traffic. Set up was a breeze as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Syncplify?

My only complaint is really with a few UI elements. Some of the box or pages just contain less info than I would like to see. For example, the page to whitelist the IPs only shows about 5 at a time.

However, I am upgrading to v6 soon. If some of these are updated, I'll update the review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Syncplify solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our old SFTP server was was not flexible and had little logging information. It was very difficult to troubleshoot problems. With Syncplify, for 1 we don't have as many issues, and if there is connection trouble, the logs are nice and clear and the multible log details are a great thing to have. "Enterprise Grade Software at a Reasonable Price"

What do you like best about Syncplify?

It is easy to install, and easy to maintain. It supports every file transfer protocole you can thing of and all in the basic version. I've been searching for something to replace Filezilla for months, and tried a lot of candidates. It wasn't even a contest once I tried Syncplify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Syncplify?

So far, I haven't really found a downside. You definitely have to read their documentation. But that isn't really a downside. Maybe the name... it's kind of a tougue twister until you get used to it. :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Syncplify solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have multiple customers that deliver files to us in a varity of ways and require SFTP (some for HIPAA compliance). These files are input into our automation workflows very easily with Syncpliy. Additionally, Syncplify's ability to support multiple protocols per user allow us to support clients with multiple requirements. I'm a new user so I can't tell you how their tech support is but communication with them has been very good so far and they have not pressured me in the least. "My go to for SFTP"

What do you like best about Syncplify?

We use Syncplify SFTP solutions for a cricital part of our business to receive files from clients. The ease of use makes Syncplify our go to software. Their customer/tech support is quick to reply to emails and help where needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Syncplify?

They recently changes their licensing model where you have to purchase the premium license when you go over 100 users. That kinda sucks but whatcha gonna do? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
