The platform capabilities mean that I have confidence that whatever format we chose to enable, we'll be able to deliver it. The flexibility of setup and features is really helpful in that sense. If I export multiple times it then creates multiple calendars in my overall calendar. I wish when I clicked on "my schedule" and I see I have appointments with exhibitors, I'd like to click the company and be reminded of who I scheduled the appointment with VS having to go back to my messages to see who I had the initial connection, which whom set the appointment. **What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?** I currently haven't had to solve any problems using Swapcard. We've tested out so many event platforms that might have made sense to the developers, but they did not make sense to the end user. Swapcard worked exactly how our users expected it to, and we love that. **What do you dislike about Swapcard?** We do not have a lot of complaints. The hardest thing for us is that our third-party registration platform did not automatically sync up with Swapcard, so we had to go through some manual and custom steps to get them working. However this is not a Swapcard issue per-se. **Recommendations to others considering Swapcard:** Swapcard was the perfect fit for what our events needed. If you'll be using a third-party registration software that does not automatically integrate with the platform, definitely think through how attendees will get added and onboarded to the platform. However once you have that figured out, if Swapcard is in your budget, I recommend it! **What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking for a platform that would bring together the virtual side of our event (virtual attendees and live-streamed virtual sessions) with the in-person side of our event (agenda, mobile app, etc). Whether you have a single audience or many, your registration is 200 or 90k attendees and you're scheduling for 1 day or 2 months, it can all be managed with Swapcard. The ease of use was so helpful when as Event Managers, we had little experience with setting up virtual events ahead of the pandemic. **What do you dislike about Swapcard?** Some of the features are a little clunky, for example, the roundtables. I also wish the analytics for sessions were backed up so that if you delete a sessio by mistake you can still get it's data. **Recommendations to others considering Swapcard:** I would recommend Swapcard as a virtual event platform. Navigating the studio as an organizer is intuitive, and it's very straightforward to build your event. The swapcard team are incredibly supportive and project managers are always on-hand for any issues or questions. **What do you dislike about Swapcard?** Not so much a downside but something to be aware of as an organiser is that due to the rapid growth of Swapcard, they are regularly adding or updating platform features. While these are noted on the release website, it would be good to have these updates emailed as a newsletter to users, as often they go unnoticed or can cause confusion if it affects a live process currently in place. **What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pivoting to virtual events at very short notice in 2020 was challenging, but using the Swapcard platform made life significantly easier. We have received great feedback from attendees and sponsors on how user-friendly the site is, and the simplicity of the back-office functionality makes the event set-up process significantly easier as an organiser. I think users should enter directly to the app if their profiles are put there from the organization. Once they have registered for the event, they should enter without waiting for an invitation email. **What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?** We solve the fact that people are enabled to come to the event. We can broadcast events live. The users can filter the exhibitors' list and get a lot of information about the other people on the application. The AI can suggest new contacts. Users can easily find sessions, speakers and connect with other attendees. We found a much higher adoption rate with this platform than others. In the past, our adoption rate was about 15%, and with Sawpcard, we jumped to a 75% adoption rate. Also, as a staff member for the event, I loved the easy-to-use backend of the platform that quickly integrated into our systems. **What do you dislike about Swapcard?** The only negative I could think of is the email system did not consistently deliver messages to our users. I think part of this is because the system is constantly being updated and new features added, but too many updates can make things go wrong. **Recommendations to others considering Swapcard:** I think those who will benefit most from Swapcard are those with audiences who will engage with technology enthusiastically. Our conference attendees were not interested in the virtual networking functions, which was unfortunate because Swapcard does have some good features. It is also remarkably customizable for a virtual event platform. **What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problems were mostly technical and were either fixed along the way or addressed during our post-event catch-up. Our event quickly pivoted to hybrid with the pandemic, and this year we wanted a solution that was going to serve all our delegates that could not attend the event. Swapcard allowed our participants to interact through chat easily, schedule meetings and view live events. We love that we were able to let our members access the platform for another week in order to catch up on what they missed during the live event. **What do you dislike about Swapcard?** Honestly, I can’t come up with many downsides. Slight learning curve if you've never used an event system before, it can be challenging. For the number of virtual attendees we got, it was rather expensive. Although almost everything got translated into French, we still got confronted with a portion of the help section in English. (We had to provide all new images for standard functions, especially for the guides provided to the Attendees). Knowing Swapcard is new to the virtual scene, I'm confident those issues will get better in the near future. **Recommendations to others considering Swapcard:** We got so busy with the in-person and the virtual event running in parallel; we lost a bit of the attention our in-person delegates could have benefited from.
