What I appreciate most about InMotion Hosting is the exceptional quality of its technical support staff. I've been a customer for many years, and recently, when considering a move from a dedicated server to a managed VPS, I had numerous questions and concerns about performance, website functionality, email, backups, and protecting years of important data.

Rather than rushing me into a decision, their representatives took the time to investigate our existing setup and provide detailed, thoughtful answers. I especially want to recognize Ross, Joshua W., Nathan, Taliea, Tim, Cory B., and James for their professionalism, patience, and technical knowledge.

Their assistance gave me the confidence to proceed with the migration, which was successful and substantially reduced my hosting expenses.

My biggest concern with InMotion Hosting has been the complexity of its pricing, particularly the additional costs associated with cPanel licensing and backup services. Some increases were unexpected and prompted me to reevaluate my hosting arrangements.

During our recent VPS migration discussions, I occasionally had to repeat questions because different representatives answered only portions of what I had asked. This resulted in more back-and-forth correspondence than I would have preferred.

However, I want to emphasize that every representative remained courteous, professional, and willing to help. Ultimately, all my concerns were addressed, and the migration was successful.

What I like most about InMotion Hosting is the combination of flexible dedicated server options and responsive technical support. The Sales team took the time to understand my infrastructure requirements, and Support was willing to involve their NetOps team when I encountered a private VLAN networking issue. For a more advanced environment using multiple dedicated servers and Proxmox, having access to people who can troubleshoot issues beyond the basic hosting layer is particularly valuable. The main area for improvement is documentation and communication around custom networking. The Back-LAN/VLAN setup required some back and forth with Support to determine the correct configuration and troubleshoot the initial issue. Having the proper networking specifications up front would reduce setup time. That said, this is a more advanced configuration that may not be needed frequently. Their support team is amazing. I've used them for both personal projects, and have always encouraged the businesses I work for to use them.

Most recently I had an issue where my website was experiencing downtime, and their support team stepped in and helped me get everything back up and running. What I appreciated most was that they didn’t just solve the immediate problem—they took the time to explain exactly what was causing the issue and what I could do if it happened again. That kind of support is incredibly valuable, especially when you’re responsible for keeping a website online.

Their support has always been 100% responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful whenever I’ve needed them. They’ve never let me down, and this most recent experience was another great example of why I’m happy to have them as my hosting provider.

I can't say I've experienced anything about their hosting plans or support that has caused me to say I dislike them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the possibility of using server control panels, where I can choose which panel to use. Particularly, I use CWP7.pro, and this makes it much easier for me to use the server and all the services. The reliability of the platform is another thing I appreciate, as it has very few service outages. Additionally, the technical support is very agile, resolving issues in less than 30 minutes. Perhaps the operating system updates of the machines running the virtual servers might not be the newest. This means I cannot install updates for control panels or newer versions of operating systems because they run on slightly older hardware. I have been working with this company for several years, and they have never let me down. In my experience, their service and support have consistently been excellent.

Their platform is easy to use, and the level of automation built into their processes makes managing requests smooth, efficient, and timely.

I have primarily used their Managed VPS services, and both the infrastructure and the support behind them have been outstanding. Performance has consistently been excellent, both in terms of hardware and network reliability.

First, InMotion has a complete set of hosting tools (cPanel, AMP, etc.) required for managing multiple complex website/database/e-mail-provider configurations. Second, they provide excellent customer service when things do go wrong. Third, I've used them for 10+ years and never experienced noticeable service outages. I love the super helpful tech support. I'm not a web developer so I get stuck quite easily with my Wordpress site. They have been very patient with me and staying on the chat for well over an hour sometimes. They helped me recover a site I accidentally deleted so that was a huge relief! The hosting price for WP Launch is great too for an artist like me who is on a budget. My site is stable and any issues have been resolved very quickly with PHP upgrades and clearing cache files. Being able to work with my clients' assets via WebPro is easy and smooth. Also, the new support access icon is very handy, as I can start a chat with their AI to explain my issue in detail before getting to a human agent.
