I had the opportunity to use Sparity's BIPort to migrate 350+ Tableau workbooks to Power BI for my manufacturing industry client, and the overall experience has been very positive. Sparity's team has done a great job of simplifying what could otherwise be a complex and time-consuming migration process.
1. End to End Migration: The tool combined with Sparity's services are incredible, with regular status updates.
2. Efficient Analysis and documentation: BIPort does a fantastic job of analyzing Tableau workbooks, making sure that key relationships and structures are documented. This feature really helped us to baseline the existing reports..
3. Time-Saving Automation: One of the standout features is the automation of the migration process. This saved us 50% of time, especially when working with multiple workbooks. It's clear that the tool is designed to handle bulk migrations effectively.
4. Responsive Team: The team was fantastic! Whenever I had to talk to them, they responded quickly and provided helpful guidance, ensuring that any minor roadblocks were cleared up promptly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Handling Hyperfiles: While BIPort does an excellent job with most standard Tableau features, however when it comes to Hyperfiles where a little more automation during the migration would have been helpful. However, this is something that’s expected with any automated migration tool.
