"Save time, improve your code"
What do you like best about Amp?

Cody integrates well with VS Code and IntelliJ, and helps me find and fix bugs in my code. The AI assistant is easy to use and does its job, helping me fix bugs and deliver work faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amp?

It is quick and easy to implement, it makes mistakes from time to time in features like Explain Code, but 99.9% of the time it does its job correctly. The price is the only negative point I would put because for a large team it does make a considerable bill at the end of the month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cody - a smart and intelligent tool for coding"
What do you like best about Amp?

Cody has been very helpful to at my job and also for my day to day task as the smart intelligent AI based tool to speed up my coding and also makes sure to debug and get rid of any errors very quickly and effectively. The Integration with vscode is very helpful for smooth operation. Maintaining large cody files has been very easy and simple with cody Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amp?

The main concern I have with cody is the security concerns I have while working with it. As the data privacy and security poilicies have not been mentioned very clearly in the documentation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"yes and no"
What do you like best about Amp?

It's better than chat gpt and all the rest of AI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amp?

Since 1 week it became "dummer" before it was handling queries fatser and was understanding the sentences better, now i have to repeat myself 100 times and still doesn't do what i ask. Its limited to 1900 rows or something similar and you can't add files from personal computer or add pictures like chat gpt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"You still need to know what you’re doing … but no need to start from scratch"
What do you like best about Amp?

Cody is nicely integrated into VSCode and if offers a choice of which AI to use. At the moment Claude provides the best results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amp?

It's sometimes quite slow. Perhaps not directly on Cody, but AI still does make many mistakes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Helpful Companion with Limitations"
What do you like best about Amp?

I like what could be described as "context-aware intellisense", where it's suggesting small bits of code while taking into account the code above it and similar code within my code base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amp?

Probably the latency - as I said I really appreciate the improved "intellisense", so if it was faster it would be even more helpful as I type pretty fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it begins to contradict itself or be stuck between 2 bad ideas in troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Partnering with Ai instead of fighting Ai"
What do you like best about Amp?

Cody has the best understanding and valuable feedback for TypeSript programming than any other Ai tools I have tried in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amp?

Adding multiple files to the chat dialogue for analysis could definetely be a better experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Total game changer"
What do you like best about Amp?

The ability to have context of a whole directory makes it much more powerful, and the documentation feature is a huge timesaver Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amp?

Sometimes it loses track of the code but I think that is more the LLM than Cody itself Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
