So much better than it’s competitors **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021 **What do you like best about Shipt?** My favorite feature about shipt as both a user of the app and a contractor for shipt, it offers the ability to add custom items to an existing order which Instacart and other apps does not have the option to do. **What do you dislike about Shipt?** I think that the subscription fee could be expensive for some, but it is worth it because of all the promotions constantly available. **What problems is Shipt solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a contractor for shipt, I'm able to work whenever I'd like whether I put myself on the schedule to be available for orders or not. As a user of shipt, it saves me time when I don't have time to go shopping myself and need something delivered quickly. ### 2. This AM was another example to the point that I had to cancel my membership. I ordered over $120 worth of groceries- I was charged for the total - tip included and the shopper marked the order as delivered completely- when in fact I got NOTHING. I received no groceries and the shopper didn't even attempt to contact me. To make matters worse - I spent over 45 minutes on the phone with customer service trying to get a refund for the groceries that I never received. The customer service experience on the phone was awful as well. After canceling my membership I immediately downloaded Instacart and within an hour I had all of the groceries I needed. It was a completely different experience. Do not use Shipt in Washington DC **What problems is Shipt solving and how is that benefiting you?** The shoppers are dishonest - accept the orders and then never deliver anything after I have been charged. Customer service is challenging to get help after it has happened. Absolutely awful. ### 3. It has a wide variety of selected stores and tends to be pretty reliable, more so on weekdays than weekends. **What do you dislike about Shipt?** I do not like to order on the weekends because the shoppers can be unreliable with time and poor substitutions. This is why I seldom use Shipt's services on Saturdays and Sundays. **What problems is Shipt solving and how is that benefiting you?** I wouldn't say I like grocery shopping in the store. I always buy more than I intend to; therefore, I can make thoughtful decisions. In the past, I rushed due to time constraints. I can take time to check my supplies in real-time. It is a time and money saver! ### 4. Overall very nice setup to use **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Tehani d. | Employee, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2019 **What do you like best about Shipt?** My favorite part about shipt is the level of communication they allow between the shopper and the shipt worker/customer service because it makes it virtually impossible for any miscommunication to occur. **What do you dislike about Shipt?** I would probably say the main thing I dislike would be just the layout and overall design of the app. I think it looks a bit outdated and if tweaked could do a great job at making the interface more modern and savvy. **Recommendations to others considering Shipt:** I think of any other apps that even exist that somewhat compete, Shipt is certainly the best one of all. **What problems is Shipt solving and how is that benefiting you?** For me, it’s solving the problem of needing a second job. I use Shipt to complete deliveries as a side job that I can schedule at my own discretion and it’s lifted a huge burden off my shoulders, plus it’s something that I actually enjoy doing! ### 8. Otherwise this is easy and helpful for those that have busy lives. **Recommendations to others considering Shipt:** It is a great service and can save a lot of time and stress. **What problems is Shipt solving and how is that benefiting you?** When I don't have time to shop I can easily use a break during work to get all my necessities. Time is money, including the time you spend driving to the store, parking, and in the store. This is timesaving. ### 9. It is beneficial for both home as well as workplaces. Instead of having to go out in the work day to stock the office kitchen you can have Shipt deliver your needs directly to your office. It is also great for home use when you work all day or have small children, you can choose a time to have your groceries delivered to your front porch. The app is very easy to use and allows you to input all necessary wants or instructions for your shopper. **What do you dislike about Shipt?** I have had issues with shoppers doing a poor job with things such as delivering moldy produce or forgetting items. But the app allows you to rate shoppers and if you give a bad review that shopper will not be allowed to take your orders anymore. **Recommendations to others considering Shipt:** It keeps employees in the office instead of them having to run out on grocery errands to buy things like coffee, soda, tissues etc. It can all be delivered within an hour of placing the order. **What problems is Shipt solving and how is that benefiting you?** This service saves busy people and parents a significant amount of time. ### 14. I like the display of the photos of each of the specific products. I also like the filter tabs at the top as buttons. Makes it easy and user friendly. The details and nutritional value for each product is a plus. The "Recommended For You" at the bottom for each product helps the shopper. **What do you dislike about Shipt?** Not all the products are displayed. Shopper has to make a special request. **Recommendations to others considering Shipt:** Shipt is another shopping service besides Amazon to do your grocery shopping, and have it delivered to your door. Easy to use app to order your groceries. **What problems is Shipt solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are no business problems. I am using the app to see what a Shipt customer sees. The benefits are that it convinces me to use the app to do shopping for myself. ### 17.
