I use Shindig for hosting large virtual events like webinars, workshops, and online meetups. It’s great for bringing together a big group of people in an interactive and lively way — whether it’s presentations, panel discussions, or breakout conversations. I really appreciate how Shindig handles large audiences while still keeping things interactive. Features like live Q&A, audience participation, and breakout conversations stand out and help events feel more dynamic and organized. Live Q&A lets the audience feel heard, and audience participation tools encourage real-time engagement, keeping energy levels high. Breakout conversations help bring structure and energy to large events by allowing participants to move into smaller groups, making it easier for people to speak up, ask questions, and connect with others. One area that could be improved is the learning curve for first-time users. With so many features available, it can feel a bit overwhelming at the beginning, especially for attendees who aren’t very tech-savvy. Sometimes performance can also dip slightly during very large events with lots of simultaneous interactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
