What do you like best about SherWare Accounting Manager?

SherWare has been building oil & gas accounting software for over 30 years. It was written for operators like us. The software is easy to use and allows us to do our joint interest billing quickly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SherWare Accounting Manager?

You have to know oil and gas accounting. It is not a specific software problem or only related to SherWare. For someone who is not from the industry, you have to train them how to use the software and book expenses correctly for our owners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SherWare Accounting Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the field I can register my revision work and send it in real time to the office without the need for papers, emails or spreadsheets and also in the part of Drilling it helped us enormously because previously many processes were carried out manually, bringing this as a consequence many problems and this tool has improved our processes related to optimizing many necessary business functions such as revenue, accounting, payroll and payments. What do you like best about SherWare Accounting Manager?

I like the interface being easily tied to QuickBooks. This posting and linking feature is a huge attribute that makes Sherware easy to use and saves the time required to post to QuickBooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software is outdated and is clunky to use. Many of the reports are found in similar places with similar titles so there is a lot of clicking trying to find the proper report you are looking for when working on a specific project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SherWare Accounting Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have taken on the role of accounting for our client's oil and gas wells. From issuing royalty and working interest checks to filing their tax returns and generating the specific tax documents, Sherware has done it all for us.
