I love working with the Sedex team and the community more broadly. They do a really great job ensuring collaboration is part of their business model, which really resonates with me as a human rights professional. I really enjoy the tech advances that Sedex has made; it's years ahead of where it was just a little while ago, and I'm very happy to see that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think there are certain findings that are really difficult to address in our own operations when we consider the regional context. The rating system sometimes doesn't capture that to its fullest extent. We could really benefit from more data, particularly from an inherent risk perspective. There's a lot of data around findings and settings, and I think Sedex could do something really intelligent with that to demonstrate the inherent risk for a country, service, or commodity combination. Hello Alison,
Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback, we’re really pleased to hear that you value the Sedex team and community, and that the platform’s progress is making a difference in your work.
We also appreciate your perspective on the rating system and the need for more context around findings, especially when regional realities can make risk look different in practice. Your point about having more data to better reflect inherent risk is especially useful and we are looking into that.
It’s great to know Sedex is helping you monitor human rights risks, support due diligence, and standardise audit practices across your supply chain.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience and for being part of the Sedex community.
