"Customer Identity Access Management"
What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?

What I like best about SecureAuth is its strong and flexible MFA capabilities. The platform allows us to implement multiple authentication methods tailored to different user groups, including biometrics, OTPs, and device recognition. The adaptive risk-based authentication helps us strengthen security without frustrating end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?

The platform has a steep learning curve, especially during the initial setup and configuration. Some parts of the admin interface feel outdated and could benefit from a UI/UX refresh. Also, the documentation could be more comprehensive for advanced use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful Identity Solution"
What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?

We've been using SecureAuth for several years now, and the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. One of the standout aspects of this platform is its ease of use—both for our IT team and our end users. The user interface is intuitive, and users can quickly authenticate without unnecessary friction, making for a smooth and secure login experience.

From an implementation standpoint, SecureAuth really shines. Ease of implementation was a key factor for us, and SecureAuth delivered. The setup process was straightforward, and their extensive documentation and onboarding support helped us get up and running quickly with minimal disruption.

What really sets SecureAuth apart is their customer support. Every interaction we've had with their support team has been prompt, professional, and solution-focused. They’re not just reactive—they’ve been proactive in helping us optimize our deployment and get the most out of the platform.

Feature-wise, SecureAuth offers a robust set of tools that meet our complex identity and access management needs. From adaptive authentication and SSO to biometric and MFA options, the platform is both comprehensive and flexible.

Finally, the integrations have been seamless. SecureAuth plays well with the rest of our tech stack, from major SaaS platforms to custom applications. This level of compatibility has saved us a lot of time and resources.

Overall, SecureAuth has exceeded our expectations. It’s a reliable, scalable, and user-friendly solution that we highly recommend to any organization looking to enhance their identity security posture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?

That said, there are a few areas where SecureAuth could improve. While the feature set is extensive, some parts of the admin interface can feel dated or overly complex for basic configurations. There’s definitely room for a more modern and streamlined experience on the backend. Additionally, while documentation is generally strong, there were moments where we found ourselves needing to reach out to support for clarification—fortunately, their excellent support team always came through. Lastly, pricing may be a consideration for smaller teams, as SecureAuth is clearly geared toward enterprise use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust CIAM Platform with Strong Security Features but SDK Needs Refactoring"
What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?

I appreciate the open source initiative and the ability for developers to contribute to the Java SDK. The oauth2c project is particularly impressive and demonstrates strong OAuth2 implementation patterns. The platform provides comprehensive security features with proper HMAC validation and multi-factor authentication support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?

The Java SDK has significant technical debt with over-reliance on static utilities instead of dependency injection, and some objects have too many responsibilities. The codebase needs improvement - tests have hardcoded values, timeouts, and dependencies on test.properties files. Exception handling lacks proper logging, and JSON construction uses string concatenation instead of proper builders. I think as well is cost, if you're a open source project and also have hidden fees it has caused annoyance within the community with AWS reporting $120k/yr for 500 users while PCMag reports $1-6/month per user. Looking at git commit history as well, the contribution again is clunky and there is a lot of gaps which I believe there needs to be stronger initiative on the SDKs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Customization but Heavy to Manage"
What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?

I will definitely never stop singing SecureAuth its praises for being as incredibly customizable as it is, excellent for fine grain, risk based authentication policies. The platform delivers as it promises where flexibility is concerned for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?

The complexity of set up and maintenance was pretty unexpected. The flexibility was powerful but it came at the cost of a steeper learning curve and more administrative overhead compared to other IAM solutions. Updates, policy tuning, and even basic UI navigation felt more cumbersome than I would have liked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
