## SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management Reviews
  ### 1. Customer Identity Access Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PRASHANTH A. | Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

What I like best about SecureAuth is its strong and flexible MFA capabilities. The platform allows us to implement multiple authentication methods tailored to different user groups, including biometrics, OTPs, and device recognition. The adaptive risk-based authentication helps us strengthen security without frustrating end users.

**What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

The platform has a steep learning curve, especially during the initial setup and configuration. Some parts of the admin interface feel outdated and could benefit from a UI/UX refresh. Also, the documentation could be more comprehensive for advanced use cases.

**What problems is SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SecureAuth helps us secure user access to multiple business-critical systems through strong multi-factor authentication and single sign-on. It significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access and identity breaches, especially with our remote workforce. We've also been able to streamline user provisioning and improve compliance with security regulations like HIPAA. Overall, it has increased operational efficiency while strengthening our security posture.

  ### 2. A Powerful Identity Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim L. | Cyber Security Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

We've been using SecureAuth for several years now, and the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. One of the standout aspects of this platform is its ease of use—both for our IT team and our end users. The user interface is intuitive, and users can quickly authenticate without unnecessary friction, making for a smooth and secure login experience.

From an implementation standpoint, SecureAuth really shines. Ease of implementation was a key factor for us, and SecureAuth delivered. The setup process was straightforward, and their extensive documentation and onboarding support helped us get up and running quickly with minimal disruption.

What really sets SecureAuth apart is their customer support. Every interaction we've had with their support team has been prompt, professional, and solution-focused. They’re not just reactive—they’ve been proactive in helping us optimize our deployment and get the most out of the platform.

Feature-wise, SecureAuth offers a robust set of tools that meet our complex identity and access management needs. From adaptive authentication and SSO to biometric and MFA options, the platform is both comprehensive and flexible.

Finally, the integrations have been seamless. SecureAuth plays well with the rest of our tech stack, from major SaaS platforms to custom applications. This level of compatibility has saved us a lot of time and resources.

Overall, SecureAuth has exceeded our expectations. It’s a reliable, scalable, and user-friendly solution that we highly recommend to any organization looking to enhance their identity security posture.

**What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

That said, there are a few areas where SecureAuth could improve. While the feature set is extensive, some parts of the admin interface can feel dated or overly complex for basic configurations. There’s definitely room for a more modern and streamlined experience on the backend. Additionally, while documentation is generally strong, there were moments where we found ourselves needing to reach out to support for clarification—fortunately, their excellent support team always came through. Lastly, pricing may be a consideration for smaller teams, as SecureAuth is clearly geared toward enterprise use.

**What problems is SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The product allows us to scale our enterprise's identity security posture.

  ### 3. Robust CIAM Platform with Strong Security Features but SDK Needs Refactoring

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

I appreciate the open source initiative and the ability for developers to contribute to the Java SDK. The oauth2c project is particularly impressive and demonstrates strong OAuth2 implementation patterns. The platform provides comprehensive security features with proper HMAC validation and multi-factor authentication support.

**What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

The Java SDK has significant technical debt with over-reliance on static utilities instead of dependency injection, and some objects have too many responsibilities. The codebase needs improvement - tests have hardcoded values, timeouts, and dependencies on test.properties files. Exception handling lacks proper logging, and JSON construction uses string concatenation instead of proper builders. I think as well is cost, if you're a open source project and also have hidden fees it has caused annoyance within the community with AWS reporting $120k/yr for 500 users while PCMag reports $1-6/month per user. Looking at git commit history as well, the contribution again is clunky and there is a lot of gaps which I believe there needs to be stronger initiative on the SDKs

**What problems is SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SACIAM solves the complexity of having MFA through their support for YubiKeys which I like a lot though it's unorthodox. I again think that most solutions that I've used in the past have been either home brewed which has caused a lot of configuration drift which SACIAM can solve for others. There are tooling where SACIAM go overboard like providing fraud detection through device fingerprinting, behavioral analytics IP2GEO with risk scoring which can benefit a large enterprise who deals with a lot of spam and attacks.

  ### 4. Good Customization but Heavy to Manage

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

I will definitely never stop singing SecureAuth its praises for being as incredibly customizable as it is, excellent for fine grain, risk based authentication policies. The platform delivers as it promises where flexibility is concerned for sure.

**What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

The complexity of set up and maintenance was pretty unexpected. The flexibility was powerful but it came at the cost of a steeper learning curve and more administrative overhead compared to other IAM solutions. Updates, policy tuning, and even basic UI navigation felt more cumbersome than I would have liked.

**What problems is SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SecureAuth really did an ecellent job at helping us secure access to both our on prem and cloud applications. It solved the challenge of enforcing consistent, adaptive authentication across systems that didn’t support modern protocols. The biggest benefit was being able to apply strong security controls like MFA, without adding unnecessary friction for our users.

  ### 5. Good product

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayaka I. | software admin, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

The admin console of the UI is fairly easy to navigate. Documentation is helpful

**What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

The fact that everything is still connected to the classical experience. The current realms will not carry over to the new experience. It would be nice to see a better connection without having to rely on the classical experience too much.

**What problems is SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SSO SAML Based
TOTP

  ### 6. Effortless and secure identity management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

What I like best is the seamless, secure login experience using smart authentication, plus the platform is easy to scale and manages user identities with minimal hassle.

**What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

What I dislike is that the admin setup and dashboard are pretty complex—with too many settings buried in deep menus—and making special changes often requires extra technical effort. Some tasks feel harder than they should, especially for first-time admins.

**What problems is SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SecureAuth is solving problems like secure user authentication, managing account access, and preventing unauthorized logins. For me, it means users can sign in safely, my team’s data stays protected, and I spend less time handling identity issues thanks to automated security checks and self-service options.

  ### 7. Quality product, reliable, and good customer support

Username/password authentication and SSO.

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

API integration has been consistent for 10 years. Customization support has been carried through multiple upgrade cycles

Push to move to cloud. Lack of new additions to API integrations

**What problems is SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MFA and IP based profiling

  ### 10. SecureAuth is a reliable MFA solution for our needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

SecureAuth MFA fuits our needs for authentication just perfect.
It's easy to use for our users and the support is great when we have anything we need help with.

**What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

The product could be even more plug and play and if was possible to manage configurations on the fly instead of only during install, it would be even greater.

**What problems is SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's cross platform and works on remote desktop connections as well as elevations

  ### 11. We have been a SecureAuth customer for over 7 years, and our user base loves this product.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

The ease of use -- the product is very simple to use.

**What do you dislike about SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management?**

We haven't had any issues with the smartphone app, it is easy to use and move to a new phone and register. The only issue we've had with earlier smartphone version was the Android app was a little different compared to the Apple iOS app, so the screenshots for our documentation were not as accurate for Android users.

**What problems is SecureAuth: Customer Identity Access Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is handling our MFA for several realms, so it is providing additional security for our company.
