Rooster is not only a necessary integration to have if you use Workday Recruiting, but is also an amazing scheduling tool period. The Autobook feature and Roosterlinks makes it so easy to schedule with candidates and LinkedIn prospects and has cut the time I spend scheduling by more than 50%. The automated notifications, follow ups, reminders, etc. are amazing for the candidate and interviewer experience. I love how versatile the system is and how you still have the ability to "manual" schedule if needed too. I work at a very complex, global organization and Rooster has been able to accommodate nearly all of our needs.
I would also like to thank Shannon Chipman, Cian Crawford, Hannah Packer, and Nate Borsella for their amazing support during our implementation process. This was by far the best implementation experience and support I have ever had for any system. And the ongoing support from Cian and Lukas for any of our issues, questions, etc. is always super fast and extremely helpful. We rarely have any issues with Rooster but when we do they are always resolved within minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For manual scheduling - I wish the timezone would automatically match the candidate's timezone. Right now it defaults to the job requisition location timezone, and for a global company like ours where we have jobs open in multiple different locations, this makes things a little more complicated. And also leaves a lot of room for error and confusion. Also for the confirmation emails I wish the timezones would also match the timezone of the person receiving the message. Right now when an interview is scheduled (whether it is Autobook or Manual), the confirmation email will send the interview date/time in whatever timezone the candidate/Recruiter selected. But we often times have candidates and interviewers that are located in different countries/timezones, so it would be amazing if this was able to sync and match the timezones for the interviewers that are saved in the system.
I also wish the scorecard link would bring the interviewer directly to the scorecard itself in Workday. Right now it just brings the interviewer to their Workday inbox (which is also nice at least) and I have noticed that this has caused interviewers to input their feedback in the wrong scorecard. So having this link be more direct to the actual scorecard in Workday would leave no room for error.
Custom reporting is a bit of a pain right now. Having to sort through all of those available fields is a bit tedious. I feel like there could be a better way to organize and maybe have the available fields in different categories to make it at least easier to locate and then select the different fields/columns you are trying to add to the report.
