I think the UI is very intuitive and allows good flexibility with parameters/ filters and scheduling and will save us a load of time each month for some of our larger reports.

The biggest upside is the "set it and forget it" functionality. RollStack connects seamlessly with key data sources like Google Sheets and Tableau, making it easy to keep charts and pivot tables up to date across multiple decks. The formatting flexibility is a huge plus, and the customer support team is incredibly responsive and open to feedback—they’re quick to deploy fixes or help troubleshoot. What do you like best about Rollstack?

It gives us two things we've needed to help with our Tableau adoption journey:

1 - Flexibility to integrate Tableau further into how people work and communicate - namely with collaboration tools like GSuite & MS Office

2 - Another reason to work with us to get the Tableau content you actually use, instead of doing their own thing manually and offline

In addition, the responsiveness of the company has been top notch. To the point of delivering new functionality when asked about features. It's been pretty awesome thus far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rollstack?

If I were to make some suggestions for future roadmap items, having used the tool now for a couple of months focused on Tableau use cases I would suggest:

1 - Allow variables to extend into filters. Being able to, for example, reference a Visualisation filter value (Brand = Jack Daniles) and put that into the refreshed Slides content would be pretty powerful

2 - Continue to add more capabilities that Tableau Custom views support. Sort decisions, Includes, Excludes.

3 - It can be cumbersome to update large destinations like Slide Decks with filter values that need to change in a recurring process. If I have a Slides document with 20 slides, across 10 datsources, it can be confusing to remember how to update filter values like date selections every month. It would be great to have something like a FIlter admin screen, report, etc instead of having to look at each visual one by one.

4 - Integration with Sheets/Excel as a destination. Looks like Tableau has announced their plug-in will becoming soon, so fingers crossed!

What do you like best about Rollstack?

Like many, our business invested a lot into Tableau development and systems, but our adoption and success with Tableau was limited until we started using Rollstack.

We struggled with getting our visualizations into the hands of our operations teams. We relied on them logging into Tableau, navigating to the workbooks relevant to them, setting up their own filters/views, and subscribing to those views. A tedious and wasteful process to expect our operations teams to do this on their own, over and over again, for everyone that needed the information.

Rollstack offers a solution that allows us to "push" the information straight to our employees. We can easily create the visuals w/ filters that we want our users to see, and then create variants of these visuals for our unique business units, value streams, and production lines. It really solves the "last mile" problem that our business intelligence team struggled with.

I think Rollstack is a very easy to use tool and it's value cannot be overstated. It serves as a critical tool in our company now, and we couldn't imagine operating without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rollstack has been a useful tool for automating our Tableau reporting into Google Slides. The integration was quick and didn’t require much technical setup, which made adoption smooth for our team. Customer support has also been responsive and helpful whenever we had questions during setup or needed small adjustments.

It saves time by removing the need to take manual screenshots or update charts by hand, which is especially helpful for recurring presentations.

Rollstack, at its core, is a very helpful tool for Ops folks/anyone that maintains a Monthly or Bi-Weekly Deck. It's still early for this product; there aren't too many bells and whistles. However, the ability to pull from disparate data sources automatically has been invaluable to our team's efficiency.

The raw information provided by its AI is generally correct, but prompting it properly can take a couple tries and the contextual output is not something I'd feel comfortable putting in front of Director/VP level persona. What do you like best about Rollstack?

It does its job very well. It's easy for our CSMs to create custom EBRs for our clients with specific date ranges, and then further customize these presentations to their heart's content. It removes a lot of the grunt work, so they can focus on higher value additions.

I also really like how respoinsive their team is if I'm ever running into any issues or have questions. They're also good about proactively communicating about additional features on their roadmap, which we're very excited about!

What do you dislike about Rollstack?

I'm still figuring out the best way to do version control.

It also requires a data person (ie. me) to create any charts they need for EBRs / any type of reporting. It's not really something, our finance team for example, could use by themselves, at least with our current set up.
