**What do you like best about Ribbon AI?**

The ability to meet the applicants where they are in the hiring process, it shortens their time to wait to get the interview cycle advancing.  That help s with the shelf life of applicants that have choices, and enables the recruitment team to have 24/7 coverage for applicants to get in and use it fast.

**What do you dislike about Ribbon AI?**

At this time I am new to the product, the level of customer support to date has been fantastic, but as we are just starting to look at the integration and implementation aspect, I can't speak to the fluidity of it yet.  Our environment is with PayCor ATS, which is antiquated in many aspects, so this may have to take on a band-aid approach, as my initial consultation with PayCor, led them to asking what AI interviewing was.  I was shaking my heads, but the team at Ribbon and I will work towards a solution, this potential pitfall of adjoining screens at the worse case was still better given the evergreen positions we frequently need filled.

**What problems is Ribbon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, our inability with PayCor to schedule, or allow applicants to schedule interviews with our recruitment team meant that touchpoints with applicants at times could reach 3-4 days.  That shelf life in our environment wasn't aligned with our applicant pool.  This usage of RIBBON will enable us to have the applicant go from applying to the position to speaking about their skills and fit for the role within minutes of completing our application.  That solves a few items, we are now able to capture that applicants attention almost immediately with the follow up e-mail instruction them to get the AI interview, thus no need to schedule time with recruiters calendar, and also at their time, 2AM....no issue, they complete it.  It also saves the recruiter time on the potential No Call No Show for the interview, thus enabling the recruiter calendar to be more proactive with on-target applicants and follow up conversations, increasing that ability to engage applicants quickly.  Instead of having that NCNS block your calendar, you review the AI interview, and schedule a time with the applicant quickly, helping speed and TTH and TTF metrics.

**What do you like best about Ribbon AI?**

I use Ribbon AI to smooth the onboarding tasks and ease communication with candidates. I like how it helps make the hiring and onboarding process efficient by automating and simplifying candidate tracking, which saves a lot of time and streamlines the process. The initial setup of Ribbon AI was easy and seamless, syncing perfectly with our current process and system. I also appreciate how it integrates with other tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

**What do you dislike about Ribbon AI?**

Ribbon AI can sometimes cause delays which are avoidable. Reducing the delays would make it better.

**What problems is Ribbon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Ribbon AI to ease onboarding communication and keep processes in order. It automates and simplifies candidate tracking, saving time and streamlining hiring.

It's like an AI recruiter and makes stuff every easy for you especially the tedious tasks. It automates screening, generates instant interview transcripts and summaries, and provides data-driven rankings of candidates based on their responses.

AI can sometimes feel slightly rigid which can maybe sometimes piss off users. The entry price and the customer support is sometimes not annoying if you ask me. It syncs well with Greenhouse and Lever

Candidates can interview 24/7 at their convenience, and many report that the AI interaction feels surprisingly natural and pleasant  some even compare it to interviewing with a real person.

Ribbon is excellent at early screening but doesn’t fully replace deeper multi-stage hiring requirements  like detailed technical evaluations or fraud/pre-screening for high-stakes roles  without adding manual steps or other tools.

2. Cost considerations
Some competitors offer similar basic features at lower entry costs, making Ribbon a heavier investment especially for small teams or tight budgets.

3. Occasional UX learning curve
Powerful automation and features come with configuration overhead; recruiters may need time to fine-tune interview flows and settings.

4. Ethical concerns from fringe user reports

Really good to know that more people who apply to a role can get an interview! The AI interviewers were easy to interact with and I liked that they dig deeper on follow up questions.

Not a dislike, but I’d really love to see more functionality added as the company continues to build and develop the product.

It's hard to know how to filter applicants out properly - we're still using old-school, low-value signals (pedigree, etc). Can be time consuming to schedule interviews back and forth as well

What I like most about Ribbon AI is how simple and practical it is. It actually saves time instead of adding more steps to the hiring process. The way it handles screening and scheduling feels smooth.

One thing I don’t love is that it still needs some fine-tuning in certain areas. Sometimes the responses feel a bit generic, and a few workflows could be smoother.

The user interface and onboarding is quick and effective. The customization is helpful to add or remove certain questions and then review everything in one place works well.

Some long pauses on the phone calls, and some instances of being overly casual with a caller but generally speaking a positive experience. The pricing is also higher than expected.
