Computer aided manufactoring has helped us become one of the leaders in the industry. **What do you dislike about RhinoCAM?** It can be hard for the software to install and get configured. We have had to spend a lot of hours on the installs and they have also failed at times, causing longer setups. **What problems is RhinoCAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** This has solved issues with needing an add-on that had the features of computer-aided manufacturing. It integrates perfectly into our environment and has helped project turnaround time. ### 3. Needs a lot of time and I like this program so that's okay. **What do you dislike about RhinoCAM?** It's really only useful for very unique projects that require a lot of creative design which tend to be less common and repeatable. **What problems is RhinoCAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** I haven't really found too many problems to think of. ### 5. Over the years, many of my suggestion was implemented, and the software has flexibilities what others don't. The Rhino CAD by itself, with its capabilities, contributes lots of the CAM plug-in. The post-processors can be customized to close to expectation. The tech support is (was) helpful, and most time, you can talk to somebody over the phone and troubleshoot problems online. If they are not available, then, at least, they respond relatively quickly by email. The cost of the software and maintenance is fair for the Pro (?) version. Overall, the software is very logical and easy to learn compare to others. **What do you dislike about RhinoCAM?** Like any other Cam software, this one is not immune to problems. The more significant issue is the software has time to time few new features implemented, but they are half done. Unfortunately, the development team is not eager to fix problems, and often time they mix bug fix with enhancement/new feature. Over the years, Thread milling is not improved and unsafe to use unless you know few tricks. Tha Facing operation(s) are still have problem with inconsistent behavior, and you never know what step over value will do full clean up. Also, zero option where the tool starts, which can be quite the problem on some parts. In 3 axis world, some features work well but lack of options to produce desired tool paths for the best result. The only 3D roughing cycle still present-day can't leave uniform stock on Z level. Entry distance is not always there, especially when it is most required. Somehow never fails. Plunging into uncut areas are still problem and not always possible to catch or get rid of it. Lots of playing around with step-over distance to achieve full clean up level to level. You get I,J arc movements on X,Y but by some reason, the helical and under angle entry consist gazillion points...and the list goes on with mostly nuisance problems that never get fixed. Overall, if they would fix problems instead of adding new features with new issues, this software would be within the best. For CNC routers working with wood, probably none of the above possess too much trouble, but machining steel and tool steels can be a little costly when a inserted tool plunges where it not supposed to. Regardless of the problems RCam is still an ok software. Nowadays programers make CAM softwares and many of them has no idea about machining and that goes to other CAM softwares. **Recommendations to others considering RhinoCAM:** Powerful package to get started and keep adding on. **What problems is RhinoCAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main benefit of the software the flexibility with Rhino CAD, which can import 3D files. With this option, you can bring in a new file into an existing one and makes the similar parts programing way faster, provided if you used curves, surfaces and points as machining entries. I found personally this way to be more productive compare to feature recognition software which never recognoze features properly. Of course, with better knowledge base handling this would be even more powerful but this is up the Mecsofts team. ### 6. I had a great experience running in RhinoCam and it is easy to use and perform reliably for us. **What do you dislike about RhinoCAM?** I have not experienced any issues running rhino other than running it initially, Just mobile version needs more updates to perform fastly. **What problems is RhinoCAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is intuitive and secure. it saves a great deal of time and translates data for producing files. It is quite cost-effective and solves my all problems of Programming Control. I use this tool for Data Exchange and it install easily on all kinds of systems. ### 7. The another advantage is it's cost is very less ie. the price of RhinoCAM is very much less as compared to many other CAM provider so it attracts the more and more number of customers towards their side. **What do you dislike about RhinoCAM?** The biggest disadvantage is that they are continuously changing their design so the customer need to vary their products accordingly so they are not stick to their basic products so they will be getting to much problem in switching from one design to another design **Recommendations to others considering RhinoCAM:** It would be very nice to get used with the Rhino CAM so that the person will get the benefit of cost as it 's price is very less and also of reliability feature . So for if anyone starting to use the CAM then i would highly recommend them to use the Rhino CAM which is also fast in output as compared to others **What problems is RhinoCAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** The other feature that is good from customer point of view is it is very fast in responding so customer don't need to be wait for a long period of time to get the outputs.The another thing that is good about the RhinoCAM is it very reliable so customer should not be dependent on the another system during the use of RhinoCAM ### 8. By adding Rhino CAM in your business you can be able to get more clients in a very easier way and also in a very short period of time . CAM Tree Manager helps us to know track the job from the first level to the last level in a very efficient way. **What do you dislike about RhinoCAM?** As Rhino CAM provides the efficiency of automation to maximize the programming efficiency the skill of worker of guessing how much the depth should be and how much it should be cut would not develop. In Milling operation you will experience that animation part is so fluent. They support this screen with great colors. You understand what will you do and you can see clearly the path of tool. **What do you dislike about RhinoCAM?** UI could be better. I suggest they should add more attractive buttons. I mean top of the bar could have bigger buttons with fancy images. Anything else? Nope. **Recommendations to others considering RhinoCAM:** We can't say so easy to use in first look but if you're familiar with CNC Programming it's very easy you can be sure. They also have great support. Whenever you stuck with a problem just call them. They will help for sure. It was also cheap. You won't regret to use it. **What problems is RhinoCAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** While trying to find an alternate for GibbsCAM I found it. I just worked on same project as GibbsCAM to compare with programs. ### 10. Whatever you need most is in front of you. Also program presents you an all-in-one solution. It's fast, doesn't require a high-tech computer. MecSoft is doing great job with tutorials. They're explain almost everything in program. You won't be without answered. **What do you dislike about RhinoCAM?** Animations of program a little bit old-fashinoned. They could improve with more smooth details. That's all. **Recommendations to others considering RhinoCAM:** Don't hesitate to use it. It's a great program. If you're new, you probably learn so quickly because company tells you everything about program in their tutorials on YouTube. If you stuck with a problem, just ask them. They answers quickly and also you can try this program for free. I would like to be different if I decided change the program. So this program is a good alternate for SolidCAM and all AutoDesk products. If you ever use Rhino, this is like very common of you. **What problems is RhinoCAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are doing mill, turn, nest, art and mesh like specific needs of varius CNC manifacturing process. If I’m going to spend any money on more software, it looks like money would be better spent going with RhinoCAM than anything Vectric has to offer. Currently, for the simple stuff like sign making, lettering, mouldings, etc, V-Carve Pro is working fine. **What do you dislike about RhinoCAM?** But if we start getting into more complex 3D stuff like the project that I’m currently working on, then I’d be way better off creating the 3D toolpaths in RhinoCAM. **What problems is RhinoCAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** 3D Models designs, easy and efficient use. ### 16.
