It has moved us significantly in the direction of becoming paperless which is our goal. It is a user friendly program and easy to navigate. Our regulatory processes are almost entirely managed with eFileCabinet. It is very beneficial that we can provide CRAs with a login and password so remote review of our regulatory files is possible. **What do you dislike about Revver?** The audit trail provided within eFileCabinet is not as thorough as we had hoped. Within the workflow process, it would be of great benefit if physician investigators within our company could be sent documents for review and their review would be visible from the audit trail so monitors viewing source documentation can easily see that physician oversight is being done. The annotation feature is also something that leaves much to be desired, it is almost best not to use as it is very clunky. We are looking forward to when eFileCabinet will provide its own eSignature process rather than going through a third party such as Docusign. The last complaint that keeps returning to our staff using this program is the lack of notification when updates are being performed within the program. There have been multiple occasions where the platform has changed slightly and caused some confusion. **What problems is Revver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our office is beginning to be able to advertise our ability to accommodate remote monitoring of studies through the use of eFileCabinet. Through eFileCabinet we are able to provide CRAs with a username and password allowing them to review data while off-site. Many of the CRAs working with our site have become very fond of eFileCabinet and the ease of its use as well. ### 2. Even if I reach out to my account manager first, he will take the time to track down an answer or make sure someone who can help calls me back if it's not him that can help. Everyone is very friendly and I never feel like I am bothering them by calling for help. **What do you dislike about Revver?** The online help could be improved. I am rarely able to find answers to my questions on how to use the product online which means I have to call. This takes more time so I don't always do that if it's not something that is stopping me from doing my work. Secondly, is that sometimes after someone in our office checks out a file and then checks it back in it doesn't always release it. I have to go into the Administration tab and manually release the file so another person can check it out. Finally, the SecureDrawer portion of the product is not very intuitive. We feel like you should be able to do everything from within EFC but it seems like we have to log in separately to SecureDrawer to do a lot of things. And again, the online help on setting up clients with SecureDrawer covers the basics but doesn't really address any issues that might arise. **What problems is Revver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everyone in the office has access to all our client-related documents in one place. And it's not a big room with physical file cabinets! That is huge for us. Even when someone else has a file checked out others can still view it if they need to. ### 3. We have several HR employees in different offices and states so this system allows for all HR practitioners access to files. We are able to limit access with regards to Medical data as well as limit access to members of HR that only need access to load files and not print information. **What do you dislike about Revver?** It will not warn you if another file is built with the same employee name and therefore you have to search an employee before attempting to scan in their documents and build a file. **What problems is Revver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instead of a room with file cabinets and paper, we now have designated HR representative responsible for scanning their own documents. The files are easy to access and easy to search. If we find a document mis-filed, we just move it. It is much less time consuming and confusing. ### 4. I probably wouldn’t be using the product as extensively as I am if it wasn’t for the support group urging me to adopt the software. **What do you dislike about Revver?** Transferring files into the cabinet can be time-consuming. Admittedly, that could be a function of the file size or my computer, although I do process with an Intel I seven chip. **Recommendations to others considering Revver:** I did not review other comparable products in a hands-on way, but I did talk to other vendors at a conference and concluded that eFileCabinet was the best alternative for my tax and financial planning firm. My primary interest was eliminating paper client workpapers and having easy access to those work papers and copies of client tax returns through my iPad and iPhone using the eFileCabinet app. **What problems is Revver solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have definitely reduced the amount of paper files I am maintaining. This allowed me to quickly scroll through documents, view them, and locate the one I needed without having to check-in and check-out. I also liked that eFileCabinet would inform me if there was another document labeled with the same title in a folder. This allowed me to ensure all my documents were unique and specific - which ultimately made my files more organized. I also liked that I could easily control the permissions to view and/or edit at the document level and the ability to "push down" permissions with a simple click. It's also very affordable :) **What do you dislike about Revver?** The only thing I disliked about eFileCabinet was the occasionally the Side-Kick didn't refresh as quickly as I wanted - it would usually take a few seconds longer than using the browser version of eFileCabinet and tended to delay. Between Secure Drawer and the ease of use with e-file cabinet, we are very happy to have switched from Egnyte. When you start using cabinets it can seem confusing to set up a good system but we were able to figure out a good system that our support staff can follow. **What do you dislike about Revver?** Because of the system we use, we move potential clients from one cabinet to another cabinet when they become clients. This causes many issues including crashing the current window and lack of search capability until the system reindexes. If we do a manual reindex, that machine is tied up for most of the day due to the volume of clients and files we have. We are told we have a lot of drawers and files but we don't feel like that large of a company. One other drawback is the PDF editor if it opens makes things really hard to view. You have to check out the document to get around this which is extra clicks when you just want to view sometimes. **What problems is Revver solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are trying to be a paperless work environment as well as facilitating permanent file storage for some documents. The color pattern is nice as well. My company logo is blue so we like that.If I was part of an organizaion with different logo colors, I would want a different color. I like the meter of this survey. It say A+. However, it still wants me to write more. **What do you dislike about Revver?** I wish the search functions were better. I wish it offered a way to sync my files with my computer.. I do not think that I know all the feauturs. There are probably a number of webinars that are pre-recorded that would help in this manner. I do not think I am getting any correspondence on where they are. If I were to get these emails that would be very helpful. I do not like the fact that an auditor profile is not included as it becomes very difficult to give control to an auditor and only allow them the files that they should be looking at. I feel like I might need to comparison shop with other compliacnce approved options now that I am being made to wtire a review.Why would you guys require I write so may words for this review. This is a pretty big concern for us, because sometimes we end up with items not saved that needed to be. We always get a error and when we tried to fix the problem the technical staff at e-Filecabinet ended up creating a new user and basically forcing me to reinstall the user's specs all over again. So I would say it has some technical issues when using it in Windows 10. **Recommendations to others considering Revver:** I would recommend this product for file storage, secure file transfers, and the Secure Drawer Portal is pretty good also. **What problems is Revver solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a safe way to store client files in an encrypted format. The emailing of secure files is really a huge benefit if it is working. I have never had a problem on my workstation. It has become more and more user friendly over the years. Documents are easy to organize with standard templates you set up. It is very scalable and has grown with our organization. **What do you dislike about Revver?** It is cumbersome to create drawers in the cabinets and keep the profile information up to date. Pretty outdated interface without enough flexibility. It has been frustrating that they don't even seem interested in our feedback on how this can be improved. They offer little support for any API features so much of our work has been manual to get documents into the system. Reporting features are non-existent. Don't expect to get much in the way of reports on what is stored or usage information. It is not possible. **Recommendations to others considering Revver:** The biggest drawback has been the manual work to create the drawers and maintain the profiles. Really consider how you are going to maintain the environment. We have found it takes quite a bit of manual work and have been disappointed with eFile not wanting to understand what we have to do to make this part of their system work. Overall it is a very strong, stable platform to save documents. Recently I found a way to use shortcuts with ribbon field, through ALT+#. I like that for each cabinet I can assign specific people, who will have access to its content. **What do you dislike about Revver?** I’ve noticed that design of the interface is different from pc to pc. I would love to have an access online to all our files, from the phone. In addition, I would love to receive notifications or reminders directly to my email. **Recommendations to others considering Revver:** If you have a lot of files that need to be stored and organized with an ease and fast access twenty-four hours seven days a week then the eFile is the best option for you. In addition, for accounting purposes you can add hold dates, which will protect files from changes, or even prevent files from deleting. Finally, it’s the great quality product with the cheapest price tag on the market. **What problems is Revver solving and how is that benefiting you?** In Accounts Payable we have a lot of files which need to be stored properly and accessed asap when someone is asking for a scanned copy of the file. Workflow and invoicing are not features and therefore would still have to be pieced into a system making this hit only 2 of the major 4 components needed for a tax practice. **What do you dislike about Revver?** The server function is wonky and requires a machine on the LAN to be the server and others slaves. It's a little old fashioned in some of the ways it works. It's slightly better than using the folder structure in Windows but it's a pain to get the data OUT of eFileCabinet when you want to migrate to a new program or system. **Recommendations to others considering Revver:** If you have no existing CRM and/or no system for saving and filing documents, this would be an upgrade. To get to the next level of software that would include workflow as well as billing/invoicing the price to get to the next level may be prohibitive, unfortunately. **What problems is Revver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Moved to another software vendor after outgrowing eFileCabinet since we needed workflow and billing in an all-in-one solution. ### 42. The data is all encrypted so even if it was to be downloaded outside of their program, the data is masked completely. **What do you dislike about Revver?** E-file cabinet does tend to have minor issues with the data sometimes crashing or not saving correctly on certain days. Unfortunately, there was no way to recover the data that we lost on that day. **What problems is Revver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our firm was able to upload all of our clients data, forms, tax copies, etc all in one place which was easily accessible online. You pay per simultaneous user, not number of logins created, so you can have logins for every employee. Scanning them in allows us to share large amounts of information over our business quickly and effectively.
