## About Rev
Rev is the #1 platform for legal transcription accuracy and secure discovery review for attorneys and investigators. Our platform combines industry-leading speech recognition with AI that cites its sources, so every result is accurate, verifiable, and tied directly to the original file. We keep humans firmly in control — AI never replaces judgment, it supports it — giving legal and law enforcement professionals the clarity and time they need to make fair, informed decisions. And when precision matters most, optional human review adds an extra layer of assurance. Built with strict security protocols (CJIS, HIPAA, and SOC2) and zero data sharing with third party LLMs, Rev helps teams find the truth faster, move cases forward with confidence, and spend less of their lives stuck in playback and paperwork — while keeping responsibility for judgment exactly where it belongs: with them. The bottomline: Rev delivers fewer overtime hours, fewer missed details, faster case movement, and more sustainable workloads for the people responsible for applying judgment in the moments that matter the most.

## Rev Reviews
 ### 1. Accurate and reliable transcription service for daily work use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian C. | Administrador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I use Rev regularly to transcribe meeting recordings, interviews, and short video content for internal documentation. What I like most is the accuracy of the transcripts and the quick turnaround time. The interface is easy to use, uploads are fast, and it supports multiple file formats. Having both automated and human transcription options gives me flexibility depending on the project’s urgency and budget.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

The pricing for human transcription can add up if you have a high volume of files, and sometimes automated transcripts need light editing for clarity. Still, the overall quality and speed make it worth using consistently.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev helps me save time by turning long meetings and recorded interviews into searchable text. It’s especially useful for creating summaries, sharing highlights with teammates, and improving accessibility for video content. It has become a dependable part of my documentation workflow.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blair D.

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I use Rev for making transcriptions of conversations in meetings and recording webinars. I appreciate the speed of transcription and the AI's ability to summarize meeting notes. Rev is convenient, easy, and discreet. I love the ability to quickly summarize my meeting notes with key points, especially speaker key notes. Setting up Rev was really easy.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I'd like just to be able to copy the entire transcription. Right now, I have to copy it by chapter/section at a time.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev speeds up transcription and uses AI to summarize meeting notes, making it convenient, easy, and discreet. However, I wish I could copy the entire transcription at once, rather than chapter by chapter.

**Reviewed by:** Neha J. | UX/UI Designer, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

It’s very fast, AI Transcription provides about 90% accuracy, ideal for straightforward content with very little manual editing. Flexible pricing and extra features like captions, subtitles, and AI summaries make it easy to use. rRev's customer service provides prompt responses and effective issue resolution

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

AI transcriptions may struggle with accents, technical jargon, or poor audio quality, causing errors. Some transcribers report low pay rates and challenging working conditions. Rev doesn't offer real time transcription for live meetings or webinars.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev solves the problem of turning audio and video into accurate, readable text quickly and easily. It provides a fast, accurate, and flexible solution using human experts and AI, saving time and making content more accessible and searchable.

 ### 6. Effortless Transcription, Saves Time, 10/10 Recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I absolutely love how easy and straightforward it was to set up Rev. The intuitive process made it simple right from the start, requiring only that I follow the instructions, which made the initial transition smooth and hassle-free. One of my favorite features is the intelligent speaker separation. It's truly top tier in how it automatically detects different speakers, saving me significant time during transcription. This accuracy and automation enhance my workflow by making it much faster and eliminating the need for manual effort in distinguishing speakers. Furthermore, Rev has significantly eased my struggle with converting speech to text, streamlining the process, and allowing me to save tremendous amounts of time. This efficiency not only assists me in getting rough drafts of transcripts but also in editing and proofing with ease before finalizing the documents. The time saved translates directly to more productivity and profitability, which is critical in my business. Overall, Rev's transcription capability is invaluable, enhancing my workflow and supporting my business objectives effectively.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I find it problematic that Rev's AI occasionally omits words when it does not clearly hear them, rather than acknowledging uncertainty or providing an approximation. This leads to incomplete transcriptions where it appears as if the speech drifts out without a word, even when something was clearly said.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev to seamlessly convert speech to text, making my workflow easier and faster. Its intelligent speaker separation saves me time, and its transcription service allows me to proof and perfect drafts, ultimately helping my business save time and increase profits.

 ### 7. Effective Transcription Tool with Slight UI Challenges and Pricing Concerns

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ushma P.

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I find Rev incredibly useful for its transcription capabilities. It efficiently takes notes for all my meetings and creates transcripts that I can refer back to whenever needed. This feature is particularly beneficial for summarizing my clinic letters and analyzing meetings, helping me improve my professional workflow. The quick creation of AI transcripts is a standout feature that I heavily rely on. Moreover, Rev's availability on mobile devices adds a layer of accessibility that suits my on-the-go needs, making it a critical tool in my daily tasks.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

{"The user interface of Rev is slightly complicated, making the process of getting a recording and generating a transcript somewhat challenging.","The cost of using Rev is quite high, which makes it less affordable for solely creating AI transcripts and audio recordings.","The restrictive limits on the usage minutes are problematic, especially for research purposes."}

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev for creating transcripts of my meetings, which helps me summarize and analyze discussions effectively. It's valuable for generating clinic letters and streamlining my workflow.

 ### 8. Efficient Transcription, Seamless to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason L.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I love the automated transcription service provided by Rev. It's generally fast, taking only a couple of minutes to get a complete transcription of the audio files I upload, which is extremely convenient for my workflow. I appreciate how super easy it is to categorize and upload audio clips directly from my iPhone. This seamless setup made it easy for me to utilize the service frequently, to the point where I switched to a monthly renewing package. The ability to verbally create emails and capture notes while driving enhances my productivity, allowing me to later transform these into written format, which is easier for me. Additionally, Rev's service makes it more convenient to prepare proposals, as I find speaking over recording preferable to writing things out on paper. I also like using Rev alongside ChatGPT to take my thoughts to the next level, enhancing my creative and productive processes. Overall, I can't imagine not having Rev in my toolkit moving forward, and I am very committed to keeping my membership active.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I find it frustrating that exporting transcripts directly from my phone to ChatGPT has become more difficult over time. Initially, it was easy to share transcriptions directly into my preferred AI platform, but now that option seems to have disappeared, complicating the integration process. Any improvement to simplify the collaboration between Rev and ChatGPT would be highly beneficial since I frequently use them together. Although Rev's built-in AI function is decent, I prefer using ChatGPT.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev helps me transcribe recorded voice notes into written content, simplifying email and proposal creation. It's easy to use, allowing me to capture thoughts on the go and get transcriptions quickly.

 ### 9. Helpful Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louisiana W.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I appreciate that Rev offers a timeline feature that effectively organizes all of my evidence, which is beneficial for structuring my work. This capability is especially valuable in my current situation where I am dealing with challenging circumstances, helping me collect and manage vital information smoothly. Although I have used Rev for a relatively short time, its functionality in assembling evidence systematically stands out as particularly useful. Despite some challenges I faced initially with the website, once set up, Rev proves to be a practical tool, especially when integrated with services like Google, enhancing its utility in my workflow. Overall, my experience with Rev has been positive enough that I rate my likelihood of recommending it as an eight, suggesting a level of satisfaction with how it aids in managing essential tasks.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

{"I don't like the website because it made the setup process somewhat challenging and confusing. When I first opened it, I didn't understand what was needed.","I dislike having to pay for the service, especially when I can perform similar tasks for free using other AI tools like Gemini."}

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev to collect evidence and organize it into a timeline, which aids me in escaping a dangerous situation.

 ### 10. Streamlines Transcription with Ease, Needs Better Note Organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor B.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I love how intuitive and easy the setup process for Rev is. The platform saves me a significant amount of time, especially because I no longer have to listen to entire podcasts to extract valuable information. I find it incredibly useful for transcribing podcasts and videos from platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, particularly those with structured content such as business plans, health protocols, and exercise regimens. The transcription and AI analysis features are very helpful, and I appreciate the ability to ask questions of the clips. Rev stands out because it works better than any other platform I've used, keeping all my transcriptions organized in one place where I can easily search, revisit, and share them. This efficiency and organization make Rev a preferred choice for me, making it highly likely that I would purchase it again.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I dislike the current organization of notes in Rev, as I feel it could be improved by using AI to connect notes around similar themes.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev for transcribing podcasts and extracting data points from videos, saving me valuable time and effort, and avoiding lengthy content. It effectively organizes all my transcriptions, allowing easy access, sharing, and searching, which enhances my productivity.

 ### 11. Fast, Accurate Transcriptions—But No Redos for Deleted Files

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connie S. | Owner/Operator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I really appreciate how fast, simple, and precise the AI transcriptionist feature is. All I have to do is upload my video, and in just a few minutes—usually between 2 and 10, depending on the video's length—I receive a complete transcription. I rely on these transcripts for all my copy needs, and my clients are always satisfied with the results. This tool has truly become indispensable in my business.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I don't like that the system prevents me from transcribing the same video more than once. When I was working on a video's transcription and accidentally pressed backspace, the transcription was deleted. Unfortunately, I couldn't undo this action, and I wasn't able to transcribe the video again.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has been a real time-saver for me when it comes to writing copy, and it has noticeably improved the quality of my work. I also rely on it during business meetings and conferences, where I record talks and sessions, upload them to Rev, and then use the transcriptions to further enhance my AI, which ultimately benefits my business.

 ### 12. Fast Transcriptions, Needs UI Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** M A.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I love how easy and self-explanatory it was to set up Rev; it made the process smooth and hassle-free. The AI transcriptions have been a game-changer for my documentary work, especially in helping with interview transcriptions. I am impressed with the speed at which the AI transcriptions are created, allowing us to read through interviews efficiently, which significantly aids in our workflow. The accuracy level is impressive, around 90%, and with a bit of attention to context clues, we can easily make out the rest. I appreciate the ability to add team members under one account, which streamlines collaboration and makes it easier for my team to work together efficiently. This feature, along with the efficient transcription service, stands out to me as a strong reason to continue using Rev.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I find the UI for locating and organizing transcriptions confusing. A better organizational system would enhance the experience.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev for AI transcriptions, facilitating quick reading of interviews for my documentary. Transcriptions are 90% accurate, efficient, and save time. Adding team members in one account enhances collaboration.

 ### 13. Rev: Effortless Transcription and Captioning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gillian L.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I have been using Rev for about seven years now, primarily for transcription and caption services at an ad agency. I find Rev to be an incredibly easy tool to use, particularly for handling the high volume of transcript and SRT files I need. The setup process was super easy and intuitive, and I haven't had any issues since setting up my account. I love how I can just upload final videos and receive my final files within thirty minutes to a couple of hours, which saves me a lot of time. The ability to easily input job codes for billing purposes is also very helpful. Furthermore, the proactive notifications I receive when my files are ready streamline my workflow by letting me know when to stop other tasks, download the files, and send them to clients. I think the ease of use, along with the price and speed Rev offers, makes it an indispensable tool for my day-to-day operations. The proactive email notifications that alert me when my files are ready for download are a feature that I particularly appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I dislike the current limitation of not being able to select multiple outputs at once. Currently, when I upload a video, I have to create a separate order for each type of deliverable, like a transcript and then a SRT file, which requires me to pay and start a new order each time. This process is a bit cumbersome and I wish it was streamlined to allow for selecting multiple outputs simultaneously to save time.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev for fast and easy transcription and captioning, saving me hours of work with quick turnaround on video files, ensuring smoother client deliveries.

 ### 14. Affordable Transcription with Unmatched Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason P.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

Rev provides an incredibly efficient and streamlined transcription solution, making it an invaluable tool in my documentary practice. Its affordability and ease of use stand out, especially compared to earlier, expensive transcription services that were less accessible. The platform offers seamless cut-and-paste functionality, allowing me to quickly generate transcripts by selecting text from multiple speakers and automatically linking back to the original audio for tonal and contextual clarification. This capability greatly enhances my workflow, particularly with over 55 interviews for my independent documentary work. The ability to sort and store transcripts digitally in the Rev cloud, while linking to specific sound bites, enables me to drill down to minute details and organize everything in a manner that fits my needs. This ease of accessing audio and its transcripts through simple hyperlinks shared in my scripts is game-changing and invaluable for anyone unfamiliar with the original material. I appreciate how easy the initial setup and onboarding process was, allowing me to quickly become operational and benefit from the service. Overall, Rev has proven to be a reliable and essential component of my workflow, which I consistently recommend to others.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I dislike the file structure in Rev which doesn't allow for much flexibility in setting up folders. It often resets, causing me to always navigate back to the top menu and then drill down again. This process seems very counterintuitive. I wish it had more functionality akin to Google Drive.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev to generate transcripts for videos in my documentaries, enabling easy script creation and detailed organization. Rev hyperlinks audio for context, speeding up editing and offering an affordable alternative to manual transcription.

 ### 15. Rev: Fast Transcriptions, Effortless Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Power Sales U. | President and main salesperson, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I appreciate how Rev expedites the transcription process, transforming lengthy recordings, like hour-and-a-half calls, into text within five minutes, which is remarkably time-saving. I value its ability to resolve issues when there are discrepancies in what was claimed to have been said. I also find it highly beneficial for personal development tasks, such as transcribing motivational speeches from leaders like Tony Robbins, which enables me to convert these into actionable insights efficiently. Additionally, I enjoy the simplicity and ease of the initial setup. Overall, I am very satisfied with Rev and how it meets my transcription needs effectively just as it is.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

Maybe I could see a tiny bit of room for improvement in the accuracy of the AI-transcribed content. Greater precision would significantly enhance the effectiveness of the transcriptions, providing a more reliable output, especially when dealing with recorded phone calls and personal development materials. But I am VERY happy!

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev to quickly transcribe recorded calls, resolving disputes over what was said on sales calls that I recorded and aiding personal development by turning my spoken ideas into actionable text, saving significant time.

 ### 16. Excellent. Accurate. Used it for years and it only gets better.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber M. | Owner / Business Mentor / Hypnotherapise, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

The automated transcriptions are incredibly accurate for most things. It's incredibly quick even for long video files. I've never needed to use Customer Support because there has never been an issue. I use Rev probably 3 or 4 times a week for business. I use it to transcribe master classes, meetings, client calls and courses as well as use the SRT files for captions were needed and use the AI features to help create module description and summaries. It's easy to use and intuitive to implement.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

There isn't anything I dislike about using Rev.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed. Manual transcription is a pain and I can pull content for social media marketing straight from my transcripts too which is a bonus. It also solves the problem of crappy auto transcripts that require so much editing it was hardly worth it. It's cost effective and affordable as a solo business owner. And it helps me to ensure my course materials have a wider accessibility.

 ### 17. Fantastic, Easy-to-Use REV with Quick Implementation and Incredible Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles W. | Jr. Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Rev?**

It is fantastic, I have not had an single issue with it, the system is easy to use, implementation was quick, customer support has been great, I use it daily, the number of features seem to increase daily, and the ease of integration is incredible!

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I have not had a ton of bad things with REV, there are a few of us in our department that use it, and when we all leave a meeting the bots remain, so we have to manually remove them.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly note taking, but it has also addressed action items as well.

 ### 18. It keeps getting better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Coby C. | Senior Fellow, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I tend to use the AI transcript service. First, it is really affordable. Second, it takes a lot of the labor out of the free kind of transcriptions that are running in parallel to whatever you're viewing online. Third, the AI transcripts are fast to arrive. I don't tend to need absolutely pristine transcripts--95% accuracy is my standard and Rev always exceeds that. Fourth, the summary function is a nice add on (it's free, though I wish it would download with the Word transcript). If you need a polished version, select the human review version. I did that once and it was worth it. Delivered before the deadline it set for itself. Fifth, the desktop interface (including invoices) is super handy. I find myself using Rev more and more.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

Not much to dislike. I like the AI summary function--and I realise it may still be beta--but I wish it would download with the transcript when I save it as a Word document.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I write a lot of newsletter stories and event summaries. More often than not they're recorded somewhere. Rev helps me in two ways. First, I can comprehend a whole lot more of the event if I'm not taking notes and actually listening instead. Second, I can consult the Rev transcript when I write my summaries. If I have actually listened to the event first, navigating the Rev transcript is even easier. Rev solves both a time issue and quality issue for me.

 ### 19. Tried Rev Once, Been Hooked Ever Since!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura D. | Director, Digital Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I first started using Rev in 2019 when I was a podcast producer for a B2B CRM company. We would record our podcasts via Zoom, render the audio file, then upload the file through Rev to generate a transcript. From there, we turned that transcript into a blog that was optimized with meta data, canonical URLs, everything possible to help our podcast episodes see the most traffic and time on site. It also helped us stay ADA compliant for the hearing impaired who could still following along with the content of the podcast. I still employ that particular use case till this day, but also, I use it to transcribe videos and webinars and turn the transcriptions into thought leadership pieces, short-form content, video descriptions, teaser copy, etc. Plus, the transcriptions always come back within a day, sometimes within the hour! I love Rev and refuse to use any other kind of transcription tool!

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

To be honest, can't think of anything I don't like about it. Since I started using it, the UX has improved and it more streamlined.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev helps speed up my time to deliver content. I never have to worry about when my transcription will be done, or waiting on what I uploaded to come back. Once I get that transcription, I'm golden. From there, I can generate that form of content into anything that will perpetuate, even improve our GTM strategies.

 ### 20. Rev - a critical tool for data analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine L. | Associate professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I have compared many different AI generated transcripts and captions, and Rev by far is the best and most accurate! One thing that really sets it apart from others is that it is incredibly easy to edit the AI generated transcripts to correct small mistakes and add non-verbals and create a 100% accurate transcript, which is required for the kinds of qualitative data analysis that I do. Rev enables you to watch the video, use key board short cuts to control play back, and correct the transcript in real time, or add additional information. This has saved me countless hours, and produced much higher quality and more usable transcripts. I also appreciate how the corrected transcipt file can be downloaded as a caption file. I can't recommend Rev highly enough.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

My only complaint is that sometimes Rev will roll out a user interface improvement that actually decreases the functionality. In general, these have been short-lived and they have improved it again back to its original functionaly.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating transcripts

 ### 21. Fast, accurate, and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen C. | Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

The speed and accuracy are impressive—most files are turned around faster than promised, and the text is highly accurate with minimal editing needed. The interface is clean and intuitive, so uploading files and receiving transcripts feels effortless. I also appreciate the option to choose between automated and human transcription depending on my budget and needs.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

Sometimes the automated transcription struggles with heavy accents or poor audio quality, which means I have to spend extra time editing. The pricing for human transcription, while fair for the quality, can add up quickly for longer projects.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev is eliminating the need for me to spend hours transcribing audio and video manually. It handles everything from interviews to webinars, giving me accurate transcripts and captions that are ready to use almost immediately. This saves significant time, improves accessibility for my audience, and ensures my content is searchable and compliant. It also makes repurposing content—like turning podcasts into blog posts—much faster and more efficient.

 ### 22. Best in class subscription service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine C. | Fractional CMO & Marketing Consultant for B2B Software Companies, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I've been using Rev for about 10 years. It's my go-to for quick, accurate transcriptions of meetings, interviews, and recorded notes. The automated transcription is good enough for 99% of my needs, but knowing human transcription is available is reassuring.

The new monthly programs are wonderful. I love simply having the service built into my tech stack overhead instead of having to track transcription fees by project. A couple of the AI tools I use can also do transcription, but Rev's ease of use and transcription quality make it more than worth the subscription cost.

It automatically creates a summary of each transcription, which is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I really like the ability to organize projects into folders, but it would be a lot more helpful if you could also have subfolders to organize parts of projects.

Also, the AI transcription works better if you set the context at the beginning of the meeting by saying each person's name. I never remember to do that - it would be nice if the project setup form included a box to add context - speaker names & roles, product names, specific jargon, etc. Being able to save this context for all the transcriptions in each project's folder would be great too.

But even though I often do a relatively poor job of giving the AI contextual info, it still transcribes very well with only a few minor updates required for specialized names or industry vocabulary.

It would be nice if clicking download would automatically download both the transcription and the summary.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) I transcribe meetings to make sure all action items and decisions are noted. 2) I transcribe demo videos, webinars, SME interviews, etc. to capture information for product and thought leadership copywriting. Sometimes these are used for human copywriting; sometimes for training our AI tools on brand voice and product information.

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I’ve been using Rev for a while now, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The app is incredibly easy to navigate, and the turnaround times are lightning fast—often faster than promised. Accuracy is spot-on, even with more complex or technical content, and the quality of the transcriptions is outstanding. I love that Rev also offers multiple services—transcription, captions, and translations—so it’s a one-stop shop for my needs.

In short, Rev saves me time, makes my work easier, and delivers top-notch results every single time. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable and professional transcription services!

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

There is nothing I can say that is negative! REV is a lifesaver!

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev has been an absolute game-changer for my business. It’s solved so many challenges I used to face—starting with the hours I once spent on tedious transcription work. Now, I can upload an audio or video file and get a polished, accurate transcript back in record time. Even with technical terms or multiple speakers, the accuracy is spot-on, so I never have to worry about misinterpretations.

The speed is incredible. I often have tight deadlines, and Rev’s quick turnaround means my projects keep moving without a hitch. Their captioning service has also helped me make my content accessible, which isn’t just good for compliance—it’s expanded my audience and engagement.

Another big win is the ability to repurpose my content. Those transcripts turn into blog posts, social media snippets, and even training materials with minimal effort. And with their translation services, I can share my message across language barriers, reaching clients I couldn’t before.

Everything Rev delivers is professional, well-formatted, and ready to use—saving me time, improving my workflow, and making my business look sharper. I can’t recommend them enough!

 ### 24. My New Teacher’s Sidekick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonia Patricia Z. | Science Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

Despite the variety of options, the site is very intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

The "sharing" options. Once you change from "restricted" to whatever, you must click the "save" button and then copy the link. Many people that I've worked with in this app forget to click the "save" button. I think that it would be so much better just to change the options and have it automatically saved.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am an EFL teacher, particularly I work with Conversational English and Speaking clubs. My main job is at a school where I have 125 students in my conversational classes, and I am required to present advancement audios at the end of each month as evidence of my students' improvement. I must use rubrics to grade their audios and present that improvement, so... you can imagine how much time it would require to check 125 audios. With REV I keep track of their audios and I can easily check the transcripts for vocabulary use and pronunciation... even my students are now more mindful about the transcript option and they check what the actually said vs what they meant. It has saved me lots and lots of grading time.

 ### 25. Quick Turnaround, Reasonably Priced, Needs Better Transcript Cleanup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I really value the quick turnaround time with Rev, as it takes less than five minutes to get the transcript back once a file is uploaded, which is amazing. Also, I find the pricing to be reasonable. The initial setup of Rev was very easy, making it convenient to start using right away.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

The transcripts often need some sort of cleaning up. Even when I select options to remove filler words, it doesn’t really do the best job at that.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev helps me transcribe meetings, allowing me to focus on conversations without worrying about note-taking.

 ### 26. Very accurate and transcribes fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomas L. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

Rev's transcription is very accurate, more so than several other major transcription platforms that my business has also been using.

In big group meetings, Rev easily recognizes the distinct participants even when their speech overlaps, and separates and assigns the transcription accordingly. I'm also amazed at how it's highly adaptable to speakers with different (sometimes thick) accents, and does a very good job at accurately deciphering their spoken words. What's more, it works just as well if you upload the audio files.

Another impressive feature is Rev's AI meeting summary and the "Chat with AI about your transcript" function. The AI does a very good job at analyzing the transcripts, and summarizing concisely while accurately highlighting the key discussions points. I find it so useful when I need to review previous meetings, especially from weeks or even months ago - so I can just review the AI summary section or ask Rev's AI chat a few questions to glean the useful information, without having to read through the extensive transcriptions. And if I want to share the transcripts with my clients or other employees - I can export them in different file formats for email, or just click the "Share Transcript" button, which also allows me to set access privileges on a per-transcription file basis.

Also, I use all of the major online conferencing platforms for my business, and configuring Rev to integrate with everyone of them are simple and straightforward. Once setup, it'll just automatically joins any and all meetings in my calendar, without having me to intervene.

After using Rev for a few weeks, I've now canceled the the subscriptions for all other online transcription tools.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

The web interface is a bit "busy", more like an Admin Panel interface. Several of my employees find that to be a bit overwhelming. So while I appreciate the extensive features and functionality accessible through the platform's web interface, I do wish there's a more user-friendly type interface for just normal (i.e., non-power) users.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

High transcription accuracy that requires very little editing, and wide integration with all major online conferencing platforms to record and transcribe meetings, while providing AI chat function to help me identify and analyze key points discussed in the meetings.

 ### 27. My go to platform for podcasting support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna K. | Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I love how easy it is to use! It's so simple to drag and drop my audio files (or videos!) and know a reliable transcript will be generated within minutes. I use it weekly for all of my podcast clients! I also use it when I need to generate a transcript of a meeting or brainstorm session.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I dislike how some of the AI generated summaries and reports actually make up quotes. It's still helpful to start to get the ideas flowing, but I always have to go back to the timestamp and actually see if that is what was said. As a podcast editor who is featuring clients quotes, it is important that this is accurate and it's weird to me that AI just makes it up or builds off of only part of what was said.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's saving me A LOT of time when it comes to writing show notes for my clients and accurately capturing podcast quotes. It also makes meetings so much easier and I feel relief in not having to hold the mental load of remembering everything as an ADHD individual - I trust that the transcript and the generated summary will always be able to trigger my memory.

 ### 28. Surprised and delighted by the accuracy of the AI and the added features for quick insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer B. | postdoctoral research associate (at a large research university), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I most appreciate how accurate the AI-generated transcripts are, even for heavy accents. This is usually a place where dictation/transcription software struggles, but I have been surprised and delighted by Rev's ability to take (usually) fairly good "guesses" at what was said. This drastically reduces the amount of time needed to finish verifying the transcripts by hand, and has made it financially feasible to run about 3 times as many research studies per year as usual. It had become cost prohibitive to pay for transcription by real humans (even though Rev does offer some great deals there, with even higher accuracy) due to the sheer volume of recordings that I had. But, with the subscription model and how my data collection is spaced out, I have more than enough minutes to process all my research data and even use it for other things, like transcribing important meetings. Another feature I've really grown to appreciate are Rev's AI prompts, offering interview analyses and meeting summaries and things like that. It's super handy and not something I would normally seek out, but it can offer interesting insights sometimes that I appreciate. I also like how it's to sign up and adjust the subscription (month by month or by year). Some parts of the year I collect a lot of data that needs transcription, and other times I don't need it. For my institution, I also had to contact customer support at one point to opt-out of using the data for their AI model training (necessity of the nature of my work), and they responded in less than 24 hours AND fixed the problem on the first try, which was astonishing. I've also never had any issues with implementing Rev, since their online portal takes care of everything, and I haven't yet needed to integrate Rev with any other softwares, though colleagues have told me it's not a heavy lift.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

The only downside of using Rev that I've run into so far is that sometimes their in-portal transcript correction interface doesn't always work smoothly. It's not as user-intuitive for me personally, as a fast typer, but I do appreciate that it's a built in feature. Normally I just download the Word doc of the transcript since it's so easy to do through the portal, and then make any corrections to transcripts there. Even so, it's nice to have the option to do so.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The AI-generated transcripts make it financially feasible for me to run 3 times as many research studies in a year as I could otherwise do, as a qualitative researcher that relies heavily on long, in-depth interviews. The ability to process (transcribe/verify) data more quickly and affordably has drastically improved my research bandwidth and productivity, which in turn has translated into quicker career advancement in my field.

 ### 29. Rev.com: Accurate and Fast Transcription

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed M. | Student, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

Rev.com has been an excellent tool for my transcription needs. The site is really easy to use and implement, and I’m genuinely impressed by how fast and accurate their service is. The AI transcription tool is impressive and saves me a lot of time when working on long recordings. I also appreciate how easy it is to edit the transcripts directly on the platform and the option to add timestamps and speaker labels. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes the whole process smooth and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I feel that the pricing could be more reasonable, particularly for longer recordings. Additionally, although the accuracy is generally good, it can drop when there is background noise, and it is not always 100% accurate, occasionally making mistakes.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev.com mainly for transcribing. It can help you save hours of manual work and ensures you don’t miss important details. The accuracy and quick turnaround have made it easier to produce content and analyze conversations more efficiently.

 ### 30. Low cost, High in features, Very useful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob S. | Independent consultant , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

The Ai transcribe is accurate enough and fast. The API with zapier etc makes it easy to leverage in workflows and automations. And as for the tool itself it's intuitive, doesn't take any real tech savvy-ness to use. We use it every week for transcribing and sending the text of our podcasts to ChatGPT to write a summary article and post it automatically - super easy! I also bulk upload webinars etc to train GPT models and can get through 12 hours of content in one afternoon that way.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I've yet to come across anything negative. I'm probably underutilizing some of what we could be but have had no issues.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content expansion - taking podcasts and turning them into transcriptions for Ai to write articles from, turning webinars and other recordings into a knowledge base for custom GPTs, basically making our videos more useful company wide.

 ### 31. Great Transcription with Seamless Integrations

 ### 32. Effortless Calendar Sync, But Lacking Proactive Cost Guidance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie W. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I'm currently using the monthly plan, and I find it very simple to sync with my calendar, which allows it to automatically record.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

The customer support and account management teams did not appear to recognize the opportunity to inform me about how much I was overpaying for ad hoc transcription services. It was only after I calculated the costs myself that I discovered there was a more cost-effective option available.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this tool to keep track of recordings, action items, and key takeaways from organizational meetings. It helps me stay organized and ensures that important points from each meeting are not missed.

 ### 33. Rev Saves Hours with Accurate Transcripts, Must have for every attorney!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda W. | Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

Rev has substantially reduced my time in evaluating cases and preparing for trial. Being able to have time stamped videos in minutes that are accurate and not have to spend 3 hours doing it myself is a game changer. Also, the Insights are extremely helpful to summarize the case evidence for the client and just copy and paste to them. Every attorney NEEDS this!!!

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

The only negative I have seen is that it has trouble reading handwritten medical records when using it for insights.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management and providing information to the client in a timely manner that does not violate the discovery rules.

 ### 34. Efficient and Reliable Transcription Tool

I like the extremely fast turnaround time, the accuracy of the transcription, and the summaries provided by Rev. Often, I get extremely long and complicated audio statements, and Rev will make a clean transcript and summarize the most salient points. The software is tremendously easy to set up and use.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I have no dislikes.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev is quick and efficient, with extremely fast turnaround time, accurate transcription, and helpful summaries. It handles long and complicated audio statements, making clean transcripts and summarizing key points. Rev saves me time.

 ### 35. Professional and straightforward

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer S. | Graduate Research Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I really appreciate the accuracy of the transcription, the option to live-edit while listening, and the ability to adjust playback speed. Also with competitive pricing

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I wouldn't change anything about Rev. It's a great tool!

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev helps me efficiently transcribe research interviews for my doctoral studies on special education support. The accuracy of the transcripts saves me valuable time that would otherwise be spent correcting errors, and the ability to edit as I listen allows for quick verification of key details. This makes the qualitative analysis process much smoother and lets me focus on interpreting data rather than managing transcription logistics.

 ### 36. Efficient Interview Summarization Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly G. | Forensic Interview Specialist

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I like how Rev summarizes interviews way faster than I can on my own and is mostly correct in putting stories together. The summary is mostly exactly what the child said, making their stories make sense. The initial setup was very easy, and that's a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

The transcript is a little confusing to read. I wish it could identify the person by name.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev summarizes interviews quickly and accurately, making reports easier by reflecting exactly what was said and giving coherence to the stories.

 ### 37. Effortless Research and Engagement with Rev

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I find Rev very easy to use. The AI assistant is very helpful, making it simple to access transcripts and make alterations. I like how the platform allows me to speak freely about issues and interview participants without needing to take notes. This helps me explore the experience with a single focus. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

Na

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev allows me to speak freely about issues and interview participants without needing to take notes, enabling me to explore the experience with a single focus.

 ### 38. Rev is the easiest way to transcribe videos. audio files, etc.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim G. | Owner / Operator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I used to use it just for captioning my youtube and vimeo videos, but now I use it to transcribe calls, meetings, etc and then upload the filed into ChatGPT for analysis. It's easy to go back and access the files if needed, which has been helpful many times. I love that I can tie it to my youtube and vimeo accounts and tell it to caption anything not already captioned.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I don't really know of anything... my experience over 4 years or so has been great.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have audiology clinics and many of our patients are hearing impaired, so having good, non-invasive captions is very important. Rev is more accurate than the ones we get on CapCut and the user can toggle them on or off when we use Rev, which is not possible when they are burned into the file.

 ### 39. Accurate Transcription, Slight Lag in Response

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adamari Z.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I like the transcripts Rev provides for all items uploaded. It catches what the officers are saying, and even if it's not audible enough, it still captures it on the transcript. The initial setup of Rev was pretty easy too.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I find the time it takes to generate answers to questions and to make transcripts a bit slow.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rev for client disclosures, noticing items I missed myself. It transcribes body-worn camera footage, highlighting paperwork not mentioned in reports and picking up even inaudible speech.

 ### 40. Great for transcribing interviews and faciliating qualitative analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick K. | Doctoral Candidate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

For my study, I conducted interviews via Zoom and in person. The audio quality for in person interviews was often poor. Rev's technology filtered out background noise, producing pretty accurate transcripts that do not require extensive cleaning on my part! The ability to organizing my transcripts is also useful.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

It could do a bit of a better job identifying difference between speakers. I've noticed I have had to reassign speaker roles several times in transcripts - though doing so is easy enough by pressing the space bar twice to assign a new speaker.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev is making transcript production much faster and accurate, allowing me to save time that I need to focus on other aspects of my work. I have been able to save a lot of money by using Rev compared to using professional transcription services.

 ### 41. Post Production Supervisor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Motion Pictures and Film | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

the speed and accuracy makes it a go to place for transcripts

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

the interface is constantly changing and i don't like having to download files individually and manually enter timecodes. the AI should be able to pickup the timecode on the video.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's providing hundreds of hours of interview transcriptions.

 ### 42. Turns Meetings Into Usable Content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie C. | Client Onboarding Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I love all of the different AI prompts for a transcription. My team loves having me make quizzes after meetings to ensure they retained the information we discussed.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I don't love having to log in to add it to a meeting. Other platforms I have used have had a browser extension and I could just toggle it on for a single meeting right within the calendar event. With rev I have to go to the meeting hub on the website to toggle it on there.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev.com has been a game-changer for my workflow. I use it to transcribe training calls, which makes auditing faster and more efficient. I also repurpose meeting transcripts to create quizzes for my team—something they say really helps with information retention. It’s a simple tool that adds a lot of value.

 ### 43. Rev.com provides accurate transcription

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara P. | Graduate Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

The platform on Rev.com provides accurate transcription that is very helpful for qualitative data collection from interviews. It is easy to use and requires minimal revisions for most speakers. Being able to assign the speakers easily and make changes is helpful. The transcripts are easy to download for use in other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I am not 100% satisfied with the fact that rev.com uses uploaded audio files to train ai. I worry about how this impact the privacy of research participants. The other downside is that at times, the transcription doesn't divide the text between speakers and I have not been able to figure out a way to divide it in order to identify the speaker.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev transcription saves a lot of time from having to manually transcribe interviews for data collection.

 ### 44. REV for HR and Labors Relations needs`

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik R. | Human Resources Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

Complete ease of use. Just drop the file in and wait for the results. Even better, REV will be waiting for you at your meeting if you sync your calendar! The expanding list of formats (ex, Super-Interview Analysis) that are available for review makes summaries and organization so much more effective and timely. The AI feature, which allows you to ask specific questions and assist with document preparation, is the assistant you didn't know you needed!

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

Speaker re-naming; if you accidentally delete a speaker, there is no easy way to reassign that speaker in the transcript unless you go through each "unspecified speaker" and label appropriately; which can be cumbersome depending on the speakers activity that was deleted.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping organize the interviews and meetings and allows for accurate action items and preparation.

 ### 45. Paid AI Tier Wasn’t Worth It — Only About 75% Accurate

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom C. | Founder/Creator/Independent Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

The interface is simple and easy to navigate. Uploading files and receiving transcripts is quick and convenient. The turnaround time is decent.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

The paid AI transcription tier didn’t deliver the accuracy promised. It was only about 75% correct, forcing me to manually fix large sections. That made it not worth the cost, especially since I expected near-professional quality for a paid service.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev helps me transcribe long recordings faster than typing them out manually. It saves time in turning audio into text, even if the accuracy still needs improvement.

 ### 46. Reliable Transcription Platforms With Strong Service and Accuracy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brook F. | Data analyst, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

Rev delivers fast and accurate transcripts of meetings, video content and interviews, The interface is clean and the option between real human reviews and AI transcript is very flexible, i use it about 4 days a week

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

Some niche ascent or very technical jargon requires manual corrections

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were spending hours manually transcribing interviews and meetings, with REV we now process transcripts within minutes instead of days, That improves our turnaround time and allows us to focus on analysis instead of transcription

 ### 47. Giving me time back

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian A. | Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I’m a criminal defense attorney. Going through evidence is a big part of my job. When the DA provides me with Body Worn Camera footage from the police I can upload that into Rev and get a transcript in minutes. I can then have a conversation with Rev about the transcript. It has cut down on my processing time immensely. I can that time elsewhere, whether it be for other work projects or personal things.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I want Rev to be more customizable. For example, Rev will sometimes attribute overlapping voices to a single person. I’d like a way to edit that so it can be attributed to each speaker.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev is cutting down on the time it takes for me to process evidence.

 ### 48. Accurate Audio-to-Text Transcription with Easy Speaker Name Editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I like its ability to convert audio to text, and it also lets us edit the speakers’ names in transcript.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

It sometimes detects the same person as different people, especially when the words are short.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By helping me transcribe the recordings I have, it’s much easier for me to refer back to them later instead of having to go through the entire video or audio.

 ### 49. Flexible Recording and Smart Summaries,

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert D. | Director of Student Support Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

I like the flexibility of Rev. I attend a number of different meetings and presentations and Rev allows me to use my phone, computer, or iPad to record (or upload audio files). I also like the summaries and AI integration.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I do not always understand how it names files.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev makes it easier for me to recall what was discussed during meetings, and it also lets me participate more actively since I no longer have to focus on taking notes.

 ### 50. REV is easier than all the other platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elysia S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Rev?**

One of my favorite things about rev is that I can copy and paste vimeo links and then it autoMAGICALLY creates transcripts. I love the format options it gives them to me in, because other companies like Otter make them very difficult to read and digest. Rev makes it easy. The price is right for doing bulk work like transcribing entire courses and workshops. This is a great product for any coach, teacher, author, or entreprenuer who needs a fast second set of hands to get the hard work done.

**What do you dislike about Rev?**

I dislike that I missed out on their previous tier membership when I had the chance.

**What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am transcribing over 100 hours of my online classes for books and podcasts.
