"Responsive powers proposal development & enables us to efficiently & persuasively respond to RFx's"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I am a long-term and early adopter of Responsive's strategic response management software. What I like best is how much easier it is for us to manage our reliable content, answer complex RFPs, and regularly reuse that content so it doesn't get lost. I use it almost every day, and we couldn't manage our extensive projects without it. When I need assistance, their customer support is fantastic, treating our problems like their problems. What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Grabbing content on the go that is formatted and ready to add to something outside of Responsive could be easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for your kind words, Lauren! We love hearing that your onboarding process has been a pleasant experience. If there's any way we can help make formatting content easier, don't hesitate to reach out. We're lucky to have your vote of confidence. Cheers to better collaboration with your team!

"Limited Entitlements Eliminate Value of Legacy Software"
What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Previously, Responsive was able to consolidate the market with an unlimited users and projects model. They now moved away from this and are rapidly shifting to a model of nickeling and diming customers for blocks of 10 (both users and projects), resulting in exorbitant fees in comparison to the value the tool actually offers my company. We have a revolving door of Account Reps as well who are entirely indifferent to our needs and issues. Responsive failed in converting many of their customers to capped entitlements, and has inconsistent pricing and licensing in the market as a result. Other customers are paying comparable fees to my company for 2k+ users vs. the 90 that my company was allotted. The tool is not intuitive or easy to use. Even with 90 users that have been enabled, less than 1/3 regularly use it. And when they do use it, they need help from me to be effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Responsive is now considered a legacy content management solution whose AI capabilities pale in comparison to basic ad-hoc GenAI tools that are homegrown. It's also significantly more expensive and less broadly adopted in comparison to the AI tools that can replace it. We've eliminated a lot of wasted time by shifting our resource investments for RFPs away from RFPIO content management, toward GenAI tools that produce better responses with more efficient content models. Do not sign with them longer than one year!! The technology is quickly becoming obsolete in the face of rapid AI evolution. We're on the hook wasting money over the next three years so wanted to share my knowledge with others having similar conversations with Responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
