&lt;p&gt;Year two is the better test of value here. The first incident can justify almost any response contract; what matters afterward is whether RSA or Check Point leaves the internal team better prepared for the next one. Better playbooks, faster containment, and fewer repeat incidents would tell me more than the initial response alone.&lt;/p&gt;
